Work Text:
Kipo was looking out her bedroom window, watching the snowflakes fall from the dark sky. It was the night of Christmas Eve - only a few hours before Christmas Day.
She couldn't wipe the smile off of her face. She was too excited. She had celebrated many Christmases with her dad in the Clover, but this would be her first Christmas spent with her entire family on the surface. Minus Hugo, but she would make sure to put his present by his newly made statue outside the Hugo Oak Academy.
Kipo turned away from the window, walking towards her door to exit her bedroom. The rest of her family were in their rooms, resting after eating a big Christmas Eve dinner.
Kipo walked downstairs, entering the livingroom. She looked at the large Christmas tree. The ornaments were almost glowing with bright colors. Kipo sat down next to the bottom of the tree, sighing with content. The Christmas presents had created a neat pile underneath the tree branches.
Kipo ran a hand over them, excitement filling her entire body. She found the presents with her name on it. She could recognize her family's different writing styles on each of them. She couldn't wait to open them. And of course watch them open their presents as well.
It would be the best day ever, she was sure of it. Nothing could compare to being with her family, especially not on Christmas.
She looked up towards the wall, reading the clock that Song had put up. Only four hours left until it was officially Christmas Day.
Kipo stood up from her spot on the floor with a huge smile on her lips as she exited the livingroom.
It would be a day that she would never forget.
