Summary
The job should’ve been easy. Should’ve been a quick way to make a few bucks and stick around in a place long enough to settle down and consider putting down a few roots after a lifetime on the wrong side of the law had Logan rushing away from the past that he’d been destined to escape. For so long Logan had been wishing like hell that he could start anew and break away from the lonely road he’d been on leading him nowhere so when Charles Xavier invites Logan to take on a bodyguard position working to protect Chuck's former star student Scott Summers, Logan thinks it's the opportunity to do just that. Unfortunately for Logan he soon realizes that life is far from slowing down. With Scott mourning the loss of his former love and putting himself in danger's path to take down the ones responsible, it's up to Logan to find a way to keep Scott from self-destructing. But will Logan soon discover that in doing so he's bound to crash and burn along the way once his own attraction to Scott pulls him in a different direction?
