In the atmosphere, the most powerful being the world would see lingered thoughtfully, carefully listening to the world it would soon descend upon, considering the best method to introduce itself.
Down below though, All For One, also known as Shigaraki and nothing else, lay in his villainous cave. It was pitch black, with nary a single blip of light able to squeeze in. It was roomy and fairly large, filled with the various medical appliances needed to maintain him beeping, repeatedly, though no one would be able to see them in the darkness of the shadow emperor. In his bed, supported by comfortable pillows he laid back watching into the screen as it in turn watched him, inspecting the various cameras of his lair.
The night was quiet. The Nomus lay dead in their tanks, the various documents cataloguing important events of the world laid undisturbed, even dear Dr. Garaki was asleep. All For One decided to boot up a wonderful game of Nefarious and put on his favorite fluffy and comfortable headphones. To enjoy the night away, as villainy should truly never rest…
Tomura was calling again.
“What does the brat want now?” All For One muttered to himself.
All For One shifted up into a rigid posture, put away the headphones he just put on, and adjusted his tuxedo that he was wearing; in bed, and accepted the call.
“Sensei!” Tomura shrieked, ever annoying, “The heroes cheated!”
“Did they Tomura?”
“Yes! They cheated! The low ranks were smurfing, and the main objective wasn’t even there! They destroyed my Nomu!”
All For One paused the camera and held his head in his hand, as he thought how to respond in game terms to the literal manchild in his 20’s. Resuming the feed, he began, “Tomura, take a moment and reflect upon this. Think of this as the tutorial and reflect on what went wrong. You didn’t lose anything too major. Treat this as you would that, “Fortnite” game and calmly think it over.”
“But I don’t do that.”
“… And how does that work out for you?” replied the disappointed All For One.
“Well, usually badly, so I guess I will think on that. Is that what you wanted me to learn Sensei?”
All For One reluctantly accepted Tomura’s infantile application of logical reasoning, “Yes, Tomura.” All For One wondered why his successor lacked basic intelligence.
“Thanks Sensei!” replied the adopted and abused orphan.
“Anyways, tell me what happened in detail, and we’ll go over it.”
“Well, as planned me, Kurogiri, the Nomu, and our hired NPCs went and attacked the USJ, where All Might was supposed to be, along with the other trash,” supplied Tomura. “However, All Might, the fool, wasn’t there! He was supposed to just be slowed down by the planned obstacles, but the loser ended up not even arriving! The so-called, “Symbol of Peace” couldn’t even arrive to his own planned execution on time!”
All For One began to feel something like a noble presence watching him. It was likely another insolent vestige. Tomura was saying something else; he should probably refocus.
“I kind of wished Ms. Joke was there. It would’ve been fun to-,”
And All For One promptly removed his focus. He felt the air getting colder around him. Was it one of his quirks? He checked his repertoire, but he didn’t have any sensing quirks other than super hearing and infrared, as well as the unknown one tuned in.
“Anyway, Aizawa was pretty cool! He took out a lot of the NPCs!” Tomura said, continuing his burgeoning rant.
And now Tomura was talking about heroes positively! All For One could tell this was going to be a terrible night…
He shifted his body posture to be a bit more imposing.
Tomura noticed and refocused, “Sorry Sensei. So, one of the students got by Kurogiri, his fault by the way.”
All For One intercepted, “Was there anyway you could’ve avoided such a situation?”
“It was Kurogiri’s fault though Sensei!”
All For One dispensed his wisdom, “Maybe you could have stayed in the rear to stop any insolent students alongside Kurogiri with the Nomu at the forefront. Use your tools wisely. The Nomu could have singlehandedly wiped out Aizawa and Thirteen. When All Might wasn’t there you also should have changed your objectives, and focused on eliminating the children.” All For One felt a terrible chill run up his spine at that statement from its… genius?
“Thank you Sensei!” Tomura praised. He clearly seemed to take it well.
“Anyway, what can we look towards in the future, Tomura?” All For One asked.
“Maybe we could fart spray U.A.?”
“No, not that, we shall not do that. Consider something else that can do more damage and maintain your image. Fester your hatred Tomura.”
Tomura considered it and responded, “I suppose we could destroy a city? Maybe with the Nomu?”
All For One smiled, “Yes, perhaps something like Hosu would do. To see the explosions and fire would be delightful. Why, I can see it already.”
It was true! All For One could already feel the vibrations from high above…
“Yes Tomura, make preparations for Hosu. That will be the next feat of the League of Villains,” commanded All For One.
All For One disconnected from the call and laid back in his seat, brooding in his lair, and smiled with delight.
“Let’s check what Nomus Garaki has in reserve. Maybe there’s some other corpses we can desecra- “
And in that moment, All For One felt impending doom approach, and he finally found out what his new sensory quirk detected, as in the span of a half-second, a sonic boom ripped through his base, exploding several areas, fluctuating closer and farther throughout, destroying several rooms along the way, until it, an unidentifiable red and blue mass burst in, and he saw a different form of black. It was a familiar if more sudden feeling.
