Lucifer walked through the hotel hallway bored, it's been a few weeks since he moved into his daughter's hotel, and every day was something, to say the least...since his arrival, this hotel didn't lose any of its chaotic nature...there was something always happening to him all of those are just funny happy moments except...one
Since his arrival that creepy Deer kept bothering him daily, every single fucking day...just to annoy him...making his anger rise every day...He knows what a pastor wants...to get a reaction out of him... Were his reactions that funny to Alastor? Lucifer wonders tilting his head as he walks, he feels a little weird about why Alastor would choose him out of everyone to annoy...but not only that but every time he does something he'd find Alastor standing watching him smiling, if he was working Alastor will be there, if his teacup was empty Alastor will refill it. If he eats and there's some sauce or crumbs on his face Alastor will show up out of nowhere with a napkin to clean his face while making fun of him...or when he makes a new duck that looks like anyone he will burn it and say it's ugly, or when he's hungry Alastor will know even before he say anything and prepare food..it felt like...all of Alastor attention were on him...lucifer felt weird...but at the same time happy...?
As he walked his steps halted his eyes staring at a portrait hanging on the wall...it was their family portrait...he always liked this portrait even though it brought him pain remembering Lilith but lately... Those feelings slowly stopped appearing...his mind was busy with... His eyes widen...with Alastor...lucifer is dumbfounded, how could that be...his fingers slowly reach to his ring to touch it...the warmth he felt from this ring was no longer there...' W-what's going on...'
"you both don't suit each other," a distorted glitchy voice behind him said, Lucifer's heart bumped fast as he turned his face to look at the voice owner...Alastor was standing right behind him, his eyes staring at the portrait coldly yet he was smiling " I mean look at you...short...small...With those chubby cheeks of yours...and this cute smil-" Alastor closed his mouth quickly and corrected himself "You don't suit her at all...and remember she left you...she doesn't love you " he smiled but the smile didn't reach his eyes, staring at those red eyes he saw his reflection...he (Lucifer) filled his eyes...his heart started thumping fast...he didn't know what to say...he wanted to get angry at him like always... But he couldn't... He wanted to refute...but chose not to...
" So I'm telling you...this ring should go to the trash..." his fingers reached Lucifer's ring touching and twisting it around...
" So those feelings of yours towards her..." he smiled coldly as he walked away mumbling something to himself but Lucifer heard it clearly... "She doesn't deserve them..."
Lucifer stared with shock at Alastor, his mind felt dizzy...he started walking to his room in a daze...not noticing that Alastor was staring at him like he was some kind of prey...
After Lucifer left...Alastor walked to the portrait... His fingers slowly traced Lucifer's face in it...' That was dangerous... ' he thought to himself....his smile twitched with annoyance... His eyes glared at the portrait with hate...his fingers reached Lilith... Wanting to rip her picture apart...she doesn't belong there...it's no longer her place...as he was about to rip her out his fingers halted, he gritted his teeth in anger and he hit the wall beside her, making a hole in it... His eyes were full of madness and hatred looking at Lilith like she was an enemy... ' Not yet...just a little longer ' he removed his hand still looking at Lilith but his smile turned smug...and he walked away before summoning one of his shadows to fix the wall.
Lucifer reached his room still shocked...' could it be...that Alastor...no way...is he..?'
he felt his face was hot...his breath was heavy...He walked to the bathroom...and washed his face yet the heat didn't decrease...
Looking at himself in the mirror to see his face...his whole face was red...even his neck...
He walked out and threw himself on the bed...thinking of everything Alastor had done...all of his actions meant one thing... Alastor...liked him... lucifer's face became even hotter, he took a pillow and put it on his face as he started hitting the bed with his legs...he felt embarrassed...how could he not notice obvious things... He really is dense...he put the pillow back and he screamed a muffled scream into it...
After turning left and right in the bed like a teenage girl Lucifer finally calmed down to start thinking about this...what should he exactly do with this discovery...? He can't just go and tell Alastor "Oh hey I know you have feelings for me" ...but he can't also act normal, Lucifer fell into deep thoughts as he started thinking of what to do
After some time Lucifer sighed exhaustedly...he didn't know what was wrong with him... normally he would reject him like everyone else...but for some reason... He doesn't want that...he ruffled his hair in annoyance and he flopped back on his bed...he raised his hand as he stared at his ring again... Alastor words replayed in his mind...' maybe he should... NO! How could he think of something like that!? He loves Lilith...right...' Lucifer didn't know anymore...
'I'm not gonna say anything... I'll just wait for him to confess so I can reject him... that's for the better... For now, I'll sleep his confession might happen anytime so I should be ready ' he thought as his mind drifted to sleep hugging his giant duck pillow...
The next morning Lucifer woke up with messy hair and tired eyes...his dreams weren't peaceful... He dreamt about Alastor...he felt weird but he assumed it was because of the confession thing, he got off and went to do his morning routine like he always does...but today was a little different his mind was full of That damn deer...he has to reject him today no matter what...
He made up his mind and puffed his chest as he walked out of his room, walking to the kitchen only to see Alastor doing something, Alastor smiled at him, and that smile pissed off Lucifer, "Good morning, your highness " Lucifer turned his head away as he tried to show he was angry... "well looks like someone woke up from the wrong side of the bed " Alastor said as his smile grew wider " well I hope my king enjoy this, it may help him a little " Alastor put a plate on the table as he walked away, Lucifer peeked from the corner of his eyes, it was pancakes... A duck-shaped pancake, Lucifer's hands were faster than his brain when he realized he had already eaten half of the plate '....damn it...' he continued eating even tho he was sulking...
As the day passed by Lucifer waited for Alastor to come to him to confess...but till the night fell Alastor didn't say or do anything...
'maybe he's trying to gather up his courage...he'll confess to me tomorrow... "
The next day was just the same...lucifer waited for Al's confession but just like the day before nothing...
The days went by as Lucifer waited for Al's confession or at least any hint to show his love...but he was met with nothing, he was just following Alastor around the whole time, sulking most of the time...
'Did I read it wrong...,?? No way! I'm sure he has feelings for me! Why isn't he confessing...did he also stop loving me... no way! He loves me...yes he does...,'
Lucifer was so deep in thought that he did not notice Charlie standing beside him she put her hand on his shoulder "Dad?"
"HDUDTYDGX7DHY!!!!!!!!!! CHARLIE!! Don't scare me like this!" he shouted as he jumped back
Charlie giggled as she said "I tried calling you many times but you didn't respond" "O-oh really...? I'm sorry my mind was full of some things..."
"It's fine Dad, I just wanted to talk to you" She smiled slightly, and Lucifer nodded smiling back "We can talk in my room if you want" Charlie smiled and followed Lucifer, he closed the door behind him as Charlie sat on the bed, he took out two bottles of juice and game l
"so what's wrong sweetie?" Charlie smiled took a deep breath and said "Dad...are you okay...? You have been acting weird lately... Especially around Alastor"
"huh?" he sipped some of his juice confused
She took another deep breath " Dad...are you... By chance....in love with Alastor?"
"PFFFFFFTTTT!!!! *COUGH* *COUGH*!!!" Lucifer spat his juice while chocked off the rest
Charlie hurriedly patted his back trying to help, "Charlie WHAT?! H-how can you even think of something like that! I-I can never betray your mom"
"Dad..." She held Lucifer's hand and smiled "Dad...it's fine...I'm happy for you I'm happy you are finally pursuing your happiness, and happy that you are no longer attached to Mom...even tho I don't understand why Alastor of all people, I'll still support you " Her hand tightened around his
"sweetie... I-I think you got it wrong, I don't like that stupid deer!!!" he exclaimed loudly "How can I love a stupid annoying sinner like him! I barely stand him! Or stand his stupid smile... He's just annoying! Bothering me every day...and those stupid jokes of his! Why do I laugh at them? Or the way he always looks at me-"
Charlie smiled softened "Well then since you are not in love let me ask you, how would you feel if Alastor stopped doing all that?"
Just by imagining this Lucifer felt a sting of pain in his heart...he pouted his cheeks in anger 'it's up to him...not like I care"
"then what if he did them for someone else?"
Those words caught Lucifer off guard...and the pain in his heart increased as his face saddened thinking about it...
"Dad!! Dad! I said what if! What if! I'm sorry! Please don't be sad, l-look at this beautiful little duck!!" Charlie didn't know what to do she didn't expect it to turn into her dad being sad
Lucifer took the duck and hugged it tightly, "s-so you feel hurt right?" Lucifer nodded, "Then...let's say you made a new duck ok, and you showed it to everyone and they all said it was cute, how would you feel?"
"Happy...?" he titled his head confused he obviously would be happy, "Then let's say Alastor said it was cute, would your happiness be the same as the happiness you had with everyone else or was it more...special?"
"...special..." he looked down as he hugged the duck tighter...she smiled hugging Lucifer " Well Dad I 'guess' you are in love"
"....but your mom..." he hugged Charlie back, feeling tears gathering in his eyes...
" Dad...mom already left...she left us...you deserve to be loved and happy...please"
....he didn't say anything but just hugged her tighter as he allowed his tears to fall...how much he longed to be loved again...but he was afraid...afraid to be loved...afraid to be left again...afraid of Charlie rejecting him in her life... But with Alastor...he could feel loved...
After some time Lucifer stopped crying and sat on the bed drinking what was left of his juice... "so...do you feel loved by him Dad? will you confess to Alastor, Dad?"
"I...don't know... I was waiting for him to confess to me first to reject him...but after a month of waiting I don't think he'll do it any time soon...and I'm not sure anymore if he even likes me " he ruffled his hair annoyed
"I'm sure he likes you too Dad " Charlie just smiled remembering the way Alastor looked at her dad...like he was everything... And sometimes like he was a very delicious meal...
" I think you should be the one to confess Dad"
"WHAT?! no no no no nooooo no! Charlie no! I can't do it "he really couldn't "I can't just go straight up to him and say, hey Alastor I love you, I just can't "
" no, you can Dad! I believe in you!"
"no, I can't!"
So Charlie and Lucifer went back and forth, and after half an hour of going at it Lucifer gave up "Give me some time to think about it ok?" he scratched the back of his head awkwardly, Charlie nodded with a smile,
For the next few days, Lucifer spent it all thinking of what Charlie said...should he confess...or just give up...he looked at Alastor who looked back at him with his usual smile and said "Your Highness please stop staring at me, with that kind of face"
"Huh?! Are you calling me ugly?!?!" Lucifer yelled out, how could he think that a mere sinner like a pastor deserved a confession from him
"quite the opposite, it makes me want to devour it, we don't want that to happen do we" a pastor smiled smugly, leaving the stunned mad blushing Lucifer behind... 'Goddamn it...'
Every day a similar situation kept happening to Lucifer with Alastor, he tried to pick a fight end up with him brushing madly...
He finally gave in and agreed to confess...but he didn't want to go and confess out of nowhere, so he talked to Charlie about it...
"hmm, then how about this? Tonight I want to do a little singing show for everyone to participate in, how about you sing him a song? You won't directly confess to him, right? How about that?"
Lucifer thought about this...it wasn't a bad idea and in the worst scenario he could just call it a song that he randomly chose, he looked at Charlie and nodded...she smiled happily as she bid her goodbye and left to prepare...
Lucifer sighed once again not sure if he had chosen the right thing to do... His fingers played with the ring...
When the night fell Charlie called everyone to the stage " Hey Alastor! Care to join us this time?" she asked with a smile
"oh dear I think I'll turn down this invite, I am busy with other things," he turned and walked away
Charlie's smile didn't weaver "Oh well, I guess it will be just us and Dad since he said he'll join us this time"
Alastor's neck did a 180° and looked at Charlie with wide eyes, " Who did you say will join dear?"
She grinned " Dad of course who else, he said he's joining us this time and he will sing "
" oh look at that, I'm so silly I forgot that I had nothing to do tonight, I guess I'll be joining you, my dear"
Charlie grinned and nodded while inside she was cheering and celebrating her heart out ", then see you there" Alastor nodded as he walked away happily
Angel came out of nowhere and said " he couldn't be more obvious " Charlie nodded approving
"So did ya talk to the short king?" Angel asked with a smile he couldn't stand those two idiots anymore
"yes, after many tries he opened up and agreed to 'confess' using a song it's up to Alastor to understand now, since I know my dad won't go and confess"
Angel sighed he was tired of seeing those obviously in love but not saying anything,
The time came, and everyone took turns singing and having fun, Lucifer was very nervous, starting to regret accepting this...his eyes started looking for Charlie but a figure stood in front of him
"hello there your Highness, are you doing alright, I couldn't help but notice how weird you act currently dear, are you perhaps sick? Excuse me for a little " Alastor talked fast not giving Lucifer a chance to respond, Alastor's hand touched his forehead out of nowhere... It was cold... lucifer's face flushed red by this sudden touch...
"hmmm, there's no fever...do you feel any discomfort anywhere your Highness? Don't you worry dear I'll take care of you, now let's go back to your room to nurture your health back shall we " Alastor started dragging Lucifer taking him back to his room to rest...
"w-wait!! I'm fine!!! I'm really fine!! There's nothing wrong with me!!" Lucifer said as he took his hand back embarrassed...
Alastor looked at him suspiciously, "Then can you explain why your face is flushed all red deer? That's not normal even in hell, now dearie we should go rest shouldn't we?"
(the imps will be offended Alastor)
"No, I'm really fine! There's no need for anything! W-why do you even care..." Lucifer said as he turned his head embarrassed, but waiting for His response...
"Because you won't take care of yourself, so I have to take it into my own hands," Alastor said with a smile,
'That doesn't answer my question tho,' Lucifer thought but didn't say anything...but he felt a little annoyed by Alastor not answering him..." Oho? Then why should I use your services exactly?"
Alastor smile didn't weaver but widened " Because I assure you...no one can take good care of you like I will" his face drew closer to Lucifer's face just a few inches away, he started at Lucifer's eyes with a flirty smile on his face...just when Lucifer thought he will kiss him, Alastor pulled away and said " I will trust you on this my lord, but please do call me if you need anything, I'll be waiting for your call...anytime" he walked away leaving those words
Lucifer was so stunned that he forgot to breathe, he squatted on the floor with his hand covering his flushed face, 'It's not fair' that is what all Lucifer thought while trying to calm his fast-beating heart...
"you okay there short king?" Angel came behind Lucifer and said with a smile, Lucifer shook his head before hurriedly nodding "Y-yeah I'm fine...hahaha...why wouldn't I be?" Angel just grinned at him "It's your turn on the stage"
"h-huh this fast?!" he exclaimed loudly, angel nodded and whispered "Good luck" and winked at him...
Lucifer realized that Angel knew what he was about to do and he felt even more embarrassed...but he had come this far he couldn't back away now...
He walked up the stage with everybody giving him thumbs up and encouraging him with their eyes...
He looked at them one by one...till his eyes met with Alastor, who smiled at him nodding...all of Alastor's attention was on him at this moment making him more flustered...
He took a deep breath then let it out...he can do it...
"I steal a few breaths from the world for a minute" he started singing, his voice full of emotions
And then I'll be nothing forever

He closed his eyes as he started to pour some of the emotions that he was holding in little by little...

In the corner, taking up space

His eyes opened staring at Alastor as he smiled at him, his smile, his eyes, his facial expression they were all full of his emotions, but Alastor's face didn't look happy at all...there was anger in that smile...

At the end of the song, his voice starts breaking down as he realised his confession might have gone wrong...
Everybody clapped and cheered but Alastor...his eyes were glued to his body...his stare was dangerous...
Lucifer exchanged a few words with Charlie and the rest before he made the excuse of being tired to slip away... His heat felt heavy like it was about to fall and break...he didn't want to experience this feeling again...yet he did...seems like...he didn't deserve to be loved
He walked slowly to the hotel balcony ... He felt like he was suffocating...he needed a breath...he stood there taking a deep breath trying to control his emotions
" That was one amazing performance you did there" a voice sounded behind him, the tone seemed normal but Lucifer felt the hidden danger in them"
" Thank you..." he didn't turn to look at the voice...he knew whose voice this was but he didn't want to face him right now...
"....but I must say, I didn't like a few parts...my lord excuse my question but...who did you sing this song to..." Alastor's voice started revealing itself slowly the hidden dangerous tone started showing out...
"...Why do you ask?.. I don't think it's any of your business, is it? Lucifer's eyes didn't dare to meet Alastor...he stared at the ground trying to control his breathing
"It's part of my business actually... You see I didn't work all of that hard work so a random person can come and take you away from me..." his steps drew closer to Lucifer each step felt like he was walking on his heart...
"I understood it wouldn't be easy to win your heart...since my rival is the love that accompanied you for many years, yet I was prepared to spend as much as those years to win your heart...But...If a random person came out of nowhere to steal your heart? I'll never allow it... No matter who or what...I'll kill them and feast on their flesh... "Lucifer's eyes widened in surprise as he finally looked at Alastor...
Alastor stood in front of Lucifer as his hands reached out to caress his checks..." so now...tell me...Who is that motherfucker..." his eyes glowed green as his smile grew wider...
".....does that mean you love...me?" Lucifer asked ignoring the dangerous appearance that Alastor had...now all he cared about was to know...was he loved....he should be loved right?
Alastor was caught off guard, that his demonic appearance disappeared at once, he blinked slowly " h u h ", he was confused did Lucifer ignore everything he just said????
"Don't 'huh ' me!!! Answer me!! You love me right???" Lucifer questioned Alastor as his hand held Alastor's collar drawing him closer to him
"......did you ignore everything I just said?" Alastor asked in disbelief.
" I didn't, I heard everything, but answer me damn it!!"Lucifer started shaking Alastor's collar aggressively
"....yes??" Lucifer stopped shaking his collar as he started right into his eyes, " You love me?" Alastor nodded with a smile "You are not lying are you?" Alastor shook his head hurriedly
" Since I answered your question, you have to answer mine as well right?" Alastor smiled waiting for Lucifer to answer.
Lucifer's face flushed red again and mumbled under his breath... "It's you..," Alastor heard it clearly , his eyes widened in disbelief, and asked once again, "Who did you say??"
Lucifer gritted his teeth and raised his voice a little higher... " it's you..." Alastor still didn't believe his ears " Can you raise your voice I keep hearing it wrong "
" ITS YOU DAMN IT!!!" Lucifer yelled in anger, Alastor finally believed that there was nothing wrong with his ears, and he pinched Lucifer who cried out immediately "It's also not a dream..."
"SHOULDN'T YOU CHECK THAT BY PINCHING YOURSELF WHU PINCH ME?!" Lucifer shouted in frustration, rubbing the place Alastor pinched
Suddenly he was picked up by Alastor who started spinning him around while laughing, "H-hey!!! Cut it!!! Put me down!!!!" but he was ignored by the overly excited Alastor... "I said cut it out!! " Lucifer was about to hit Alastor but Alastor hugged him tightly...
" thank you... " Lucifer put down his hand as he hugged Alastor back..." you are really stupid...aren't you " Alastor just smiled silently before grinning slyly
" well I guess I'm your husband now," he said teasingly, " HUH?! W-What?! Who said that?!"
" Lucifer shouted embarrassingly,
" well didn't you sing a whole song about me and called me, husband, I didn't expect you to be this way Lucifer dear~"
" Y-You are not my husband!!!" Alastor turned back dangerous in mere seconds " If I'm not your husband then who huh..." his eyes glowed green again as some of his demonic features started showing more
" No one is!! even if we now "confessed " to each other how can I trust you...trust that you actually love me...and not playing or using me..."
Alastor calmed down as he smiled softly at Lucifer... " then how about a deal...?"
" a deal?" Lucifer asked skeptically "What kind of deals..." if Alastor dared to ask for his soul or his crown he wouldn't hesitate to chop off that neck of his
Alastor's smile widened " I'll give you all of me and my love and even my body, and you give me the same...I want you to belong to me...no matter what...you will always be mine...even if Lilith comes back...I want you to choose me over her...and I shower you with all of my love...is that a deal?"
Lucifer blinked as he slowly started laughing "Hahahahaha!!! Is that what you really want!!"
Alastor smiled and nodded, Lucifer wiped his laughter tears and said "Okay then let's make a deal Bambi", Lucifer reached out his hand to shake Alastor's hand, but Alastor didn't take it "This deal...is different it won't be signed with a handshake..."
" then by what?" he asked confused, Alastor picked him up again and held him too close to his face, he smiled and kissed the stunned Lucifer, but Lucifer didn't respond at first but as he ft Alastor's lips on his he woke up and kissed him back...
Alastor broke the kiss smiling " Like this " Lucifer felt so embarrassed that he buried his face in Alastor's shoulder... " you are...too much sometimes you know... " he said with a muffled voice...
Alastor chuckled "But you still love and choose me and there's no turning back anymore, you are mine forever so am I, hey...call me husband again~"
" YOU ARE NOT MY HUSBAND!!!" Alastor hurriedly continued by saying " Yet, I'm soon to be your husband, " Lucifer couldn't refute him any longer he knew it would end up with him losing anyway...
" I hate you... "
" I love you too ^^"
