Work Text:
Seojun definitely had a fun date last night, considering he had gone to bed somewhat tired but extremely happy.
After they left the museum, they walked to an Italian restaurant a few streets away. They had a nice dinner of pasta and talked more about the art they had seen and some other works they had previously seen or engaged with, bonding over their favourite pasta shapes and their mutual dislike of Picasso and his works.

“Hey, I haven’t seen you since Saturday,” Suho says, smiling at Seojun when he reaches the counter from his spot in the rush hour line.
“The usual with two extra pumps of sugar, no dessert, I’ll call you later tonight”. Seojun answers, returning the smile and placing his debit card on the machine before moving to the pickup line. Clearly in a rush because of the line of people behind him.

“Hey, I’ve missed you,” Suho says, smiling softly at his phone.
“Suho you saw me this afternoon,” Seojun says smiling back at the grainy image of Suho on his phone.
They continued on the call even after Suho had long finished his assignment project.
“Goodnight Seojun, you should get lots of rest, I’ll see you tomorrow during closing,” Suho says, bidding him goodbye before ending the call.
Seojun was excited and that was an understatement of its own, he was buzzing with joy. Suho had mentioned meeting at the cafe during his closing shift to plan a date. Somewhere nice, like the cinema or an arcade, maybe both. Seojun mostly just wanted an excuse to spend more time with Suho.
Their first date had been a massive success in his books and he was itching to go out with Suho again, to talk with him, hold hands with him. It may have been too early on to think about such things but Seojun was sure he could see himself going out with Suho.

“Hey Seo, you look tired - what happened?” Suho asks as Seojun sets down his bag, this time a singular black book bag that had several pins of different characters, organizations, and writings on them.
“Yeah I had a shitty class.”
“Do you want to talk about it? I could make you coconut milk tea?”
“Thank you so much, it’s nothing heavy. My professor just kept putting me on the spot for this coding assignment I didn’t know how to do, and I guess I just felt stupid throughout the class.”
“I’m so sorry you had to deal with that, and for your coding assignments I could help you out?”
“Thank you, also you code?”
“Yeah, I learned to code in undergrad.”
“Thank you so much,” Seojun says, taking the cup of coffee from Suho, rubbing his palm affectionately.
“So for Friday night what should I wear?”
“Whatever you feel comfortable in, it’s the cinema after all.”

Suho was running late, only by a few minutes, but it was enough to bother Seojun as he paced around the lobby of the cinema building, wondering whether or not he was getting stood up.
There’s a vibration from his phone and he unlocked it to find a voice message from Suho:
“Hey, I’m so sorry I didn’t get to you on time, I was stuck in a client meeting for my practical class. I’ll be there in five minutes and I’m so sorry again!” Sent five minutes ago, which meant that Suho was going to arrive soon, and he was right given the footsteps of shoes approaching him.
“Hey, so sorry I’m late! I got you a MacAllan 25, because I couldn’t stop for flowers.”
Suho looked gorgeous, in a white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled to his elbows, black slacks and R.M Williams dress boots, his typically well styled hair was tousled in a way Seojun found attractive. Suho looked out of this world, like a model off a runway, and for a brief moment Seojun felt underdressed in his black jorts, white cotton t-shirt and black high tops.
Taking the bag holding the whiskey from Suho, Seojun takes another look at Suho’s outfit, his eyes catching the metallic glint on his breasts showing through his shirt.
Catching his breath, Seojun walks beside Suho to the counter to retrieve their tickets, before letting Suho lead him to the room marked on the ticket.
It’s a nice movie, a funny rom com and Seojun is glad for that because he could whisper random quips about the film to Suho as the movie progressed.
Suho is not sure exactly when but Seojun had snaked his hand into his, and he felt this bubbly feeling settle over him and engulf him, he loved the feeling of Seojun’s hand in his. The way he leaned in to whisper his jokes and the wide smile that flirted on his face whenever something romantic came up on the screen. Suho was definitely falling and falling fast and hard.
“Do you want to go somewhere else, the night is still young.” Suho asks as they stand idly outside the movie theater.
“We could get sandwiches, I’m sure you haven’t had dinner yet, because of your meeting and all.” Seojun replies.
Suho nods looking at Seojun who had taken his phone out to search for a place to eat.
“Alright there’s a deli a few minutes away, we could walk?” Seojun replies, taking Suho’s hand in his for the second time that night.
“Thank you so much for paying, you didn’t have to - I suggested the place after all,” Seojun says as they sit down to eat their sandwiches at a table at a corner of the deli.
“That’s fine, I suggested the date today, and you are taking me out on a date next so we are even” Suho says smiling.
Seojun smiles before reaching across the table to give him a kiss on his cheeks.
