“Well, she happens to be getting married next weekend, and she uh, how do I put this,” he sighed like a man burdened, sitting up and putting his hands over his face to cover the blush creeping to his cheeks, “she kinda… thinks you’re my boyfriend.”

Hitoshi asks Izuku to be his plus-one at his sister's wedding, under the pretense that Izuku acts as his fake boyfriend. Of course, the "fake" will phase out in no time, because when does fake dating ever stay as such?
