Work Text:
His everyday friend is always with him, the usual and always present feeling of numbness.
He never mentioned to anyone what happened at the bistro, he didn't mention her, nor him, nor even about them.
He never got near the place where the bistro used to be, he couldn't stand walking around that street.
Everytime he walked around that place he felt the smell of the meat burning in the air like a giant oven.
He was just doing his best, how could he end up like this? Why?
She was a sweet girl, how could she end up like that? Why?
He…
He couldn't even dare to think about him.
Everytime, his eyes appeared in his nightmares.
They followed him around, staring at him, as he prepared his grand finale.
He couldn't stand eating anymore, everytime felt atrocious and he wanted to throw up everytime he tried to eat something.
How could that happen?
What should he do?
He hated it.
He felt just as if it was him speaking.
He wanted to be the usual him, why would this happen to him?
Maybe it was not something about his brain, nor about the food.
Maybe, deep in his core…
He was just rotten.
Like an old piece of meat.
He was no longer himself, nor the Rody that Manon used to know, the Rody that Vincent tried to kill.
He was a rotten meal.
