Mike bit his- his- lip hard, eyes trained to the mirror. He needed to stop looking.

His body may have been covered in baggy clothes, a deep blue t-shirt and some well-worn jeans, but he could just about see the bump of his chest poking out like two sore thumbs.

"Hey Guys, I set up movie-"
"Night.." Tommy broke off as he inspected the incriminating scene before him.
From where he was standing in the doorway, it seemed his father was off to the side whilst the eldest brother was digging a long blade into a barely recognisable human body.
The person was that woman Tommy had complained about, how rude the person was and how insistent they were on their name, he remembers their voice ringing in his head "Hello, my name is Suzie, that’s Suzie with a Z!".
Wilbur was standing, frozen, on the opposite side to Techno by the body.
"Uh– Toms, it’s not what it looks like-!" Wilbur starts, wiping blood off his face onto his sleeve.
Tommy struggles to keep a straight face, but he managed, "Oh no. My innocence. It’s broken." He deadpanned comedically, before turning around, and slamming the door shut behind him.
Said door was met with three twinning stares that screamed, "What the f*ck just happened?!" energy.

Summary
Where there is a lack of noise, there is an opening for a voice to be heard, by all those who are trapped within the silence.
That was when the signs went up.Or: Two months after the "earthquake," the small conservative town does what small conservative towns do best, and turns to religion. But the person pulling the strings isn't the god they think they're worshipping. Mike is left trying to save his best friend from possession, while Jane is stuck fleeing from both the military who want her blood, and the town's people who think she should burn at the stake.
In other words, just another day in Hawkins, Indiana.

“Well,” Mike shrugs, swallowing hard in a desperate attempt to soothe his very, very dry mouth, “I don’t know why someone wouldn’t be interested in you.”
“Oh?” Will says, and it’s definitely teasing now, enough for Mike to feel himself turning warm, all down his neck and to the tips of his own – sadly unpatterned – socks. “Someone?”
“Yeah.” Mike nods. Oh, god. This is fine. “In a very arbitrary sense of the word. Just– people. Someone.”
Mike is approximately ninety-eight percent sure that his feelings are requited. That last two percent, however, has really been throwing him for a loop.

Summary
The first time it happens, Will classifies it as a little accident.
When he wakes, the morning sun is burning through the window onto their faces, and Mike’s cursing as he stands to close the curtains, stumbling all the way.
“Scoot over,” he grumbles, voice dry, and for a second Will can’t do anything other than sigh like a lovesick idiot. It’s a second too late for Mike, because he grumbles more words Will doesn’t catch under his breath and then physically pushes Will towards the wall to lay beside him, arm over Will’s middle. A second of silence passes, then Mike sighs, only to whine: “Fuck, my head hurts.”
Will can’t help it: he breaks down laughing, much to Mike’s offense.

Summary
It starts with a Hellfire shirt. Mike doesn't know if it's cursed or blessed because wearing it always makes Will act strangely. Then, it's spiraling into a hope Mike didn't know he could have. Will has never been closer, but Mike still isn't sure he can have what he wants. Or can he?

“You’ll let me do your hair?”
Mike knows this is a bad idea. Knows he’ll be red the whole time and stutter and give himself away, but this is Will. Will with his hands in his hair, so close Mike can stare all he wants. Fantasize about what a kiss might be like. Hidden away in the safety of what should’ve been their bedroom. Maybe he can use today to convince Will it can be.
“Only if you make me look good.”
Will stands with a sweet smile. “Easiest job in the world then.” And then he disappears into the hallway before Mike can even start to stumble in front of him.
