Fingers dance across Spep’s skin. Rewriting sentences, dipping fountain pens in ink pots. Stablizing them this time, holding the table steady where Spep would panic and try too hard to fix it. To neaten it, make it into something ‘perfect’.
Spep’s never understood that he doesn’t have to fit into something like that. When Redd’s fingers trace along, ink creating something new amongst Spep’s speckled skin. Grinning when there’s a soften release, muscles loosening as those same marks are drawn over, and over, and over again.
The same pages he’d written, diagrams he’d sketched out- smudges beneath the oils on his fingers. Spep’s skin is shuddering as Redd strokes his nails along. There’s a scent growing in the air, paint and pastels mixing as Spep leans a little closer.
