Ashlyn and Aiden were sitting on the bus chatting about some random stuff, Aiden kept noticing a black haired boy who was the “new kid” was staring at Ashlyn the whole time on the bus. They had 6 more stops before they made it home. But Aiden got the chills down his back as he was looking back at the boy, he looked oddly familiar though…
“What’ca lookin’ at?” Ashlyn says looking in the direction he was to see a boy with brown hair and green eyes. The boy quickly looked away when him and Ashlyn looked at him. Aiden got up and sat next to her, Ben was out sick so he wasn’t there. “Let’s get off at this next stop, I don’t want this guy somewhat knowing where we live…” he whispered to her. “Aww is someone jealous~?” Ashlyn said grabbing his face. Aiden grew pink at this. She’s been more flirty than ever before this week… he wondered why…
The bus came to a halt as Ashlyn and Aiden got off and started walking down the street, it was probably gonna be an hour or two hour walk to the graveyard where they all planned up on meeting, Ashlyn texted her parents and the group that her and Aiden would be a little late and put her phone back in her pocket. Her and Aiden chatted for a while during this their hands had brushed each other’s and Aiden took an instant notice and became pink again.
After about 45 minutes they come across a girl who had black hair and bright blue eyes sitting at a stop.
Aiden froze.
Ashlyn took a notice if this and asked him, “What’s with the sudden freeze?” Aiden’s smile faded out in a wonky way. “Something’s off..” she thought to herself before walking again. The black haired girl looked up and stooped up happily, “AIDEN!!!” She said as she threw her arms around him and kissed his neck. He threw her off gently but enough for her to get the hint as Aiden whipped the kiss off his neck. “Nice to see you too Becca…” he says in almost a mumble
Becca’s eyes land on Ashlyn and gives her a death glare. “Well Aiden who is this?” Becca says in a snarky tone. Aiden’s eyes narrowed looking at Becca with a disgusted look in his eyes, but they soften after he fixes his eyes on Ashlyn, “Oh this my fr-“
“Girlfriend!” Ashlyn says grabbing Aiden’s hand. Aiden caught the hint of what Ashlyn was doing, thank god she was. He was 100% gonna tease her about being jealous after this though. “Oh! Lovely, probably not as good as a girlfriend as I was though…” Becca says in a “mean girl” tone was the best way to describe it. Ashlyn was taken it back. “You haven’t changed a bit.” Aiden says gritting his teeth and forming a fist in his free hand. “Nope!, actually…,” she says looking straight at Ashlyn smirking, “You’ve been on my mind recently….” Ashlyn could read Aiden’s mind cursing her out and wanting to knock that girl out. She did too, she wasn’t even dating Aiden but still. They both forget what she was yapping about but she says something that got Ashlyn’s attention. “I know we fought and yelled that day, I shouldn’t have acted like that, but I mean all guys do that and I’m not a girly girl like this fake redhead.” Becca says rolling her eyes to look at Ashlyn. At this time Ashlyn was wearing one of Aiden’s hoodies (he had given it her one night to warm her up and she never gave it back just bc 😏😏😏) paired with really ripped jeans and converse. Nothing a “girly girl” would wear, unlike Becca who was wearing a bright pink shirt with white jeans and a pink headband paired with a full face of makeup. “Sureee, pick me.” Ashlyn says under her breath loud enough for Becca to hear. “What was that?” She says looking at Ashlyn with a smile, nothing like Aiden’s, one of pure disgust and hatred. Ashlyn smiled back. “Oh Aiden dearie, when you get done with this… what ever it is, you have my number if you ever want to chat again.” She says putting her hand on Aiden’s chest.
Ashlyn snapped at this.
She had kicked the girl in her ear knocking her to the ground.
“My god you’re annoying.” Ashlyn says pinching her nose bridge as Becca wailed on the sidewalk. “I want him back!” Becca says though the tears pausing to get breath mid sentence. “Sorry girl but you missed out, well tough luck that boy’s mine now. We are more than just good friends, I think we should leave our conversation here for now, hopefully I never have to see you again!” Ashlyn says cheery. “Oh. And if you even think about ever talking to Aiden again I will personally slit your throat open.” Ashlyn says as she grabs her face so Becca would look at her and when she was finished talking she slammed her head back in the ground. “Let’s go Aiden.” She says grabbing his hand again “Finally! God she’s annoying!” Aiden said loud enough for Becca to hear. “Tell me about it.” Ashlyn says rolling her eyes. About five seconds of silence goes by before Aiden says, “So, girlfriend huh~?” He says in a flirty tone. “Shut up!” She says retracting her hand from his realizing she still was holding it. Aiden grabbed it back,
“No, No, it’s fine~” He smirked as he said it, now Ash was the one who was pink.
