It’s started when Taehyun met Beomgyu during his first year in college.
Beomgyu was a year older than him, but that doesn’t stop him from liking him.

Taehyun had graduated college already.
He has a stable job, well after all he graduated as an engineering student.
Life was always the same for him, especially his every day manifestation of his crush liking him back, even though it’s one sided love.
Him and Beomgyu had a brief contact with each other, and he is thankful for that.
He remembered how funny how he got Beomgyu’s phone number that time.

(“Kai-ah, please give me his phone number, I’m begging you” Taehyun said as he follow Huening kai’s each step.
“And why would I give you his number?” Kai said walking while looking at Taehyun who was begging him desperately.
“For school project?” Taehyun said quietly, Kai almost didn’t catch it but he just shrugged.
“I’ll tell Beomie, and can you give me your phone number if he agrees to give you his number” Kai said smiling at Taehyun.
Taehyun quickly stumbled to get his phone in his pocket, and quickly turned his contacts to give Kai his phone number.
Kai quickly typed his phone number, and saved it.
Kai was his best friend after all, but he was also Beomgyu’s best friend.
“Thank you Kai-ah” Taehyun said softly smiling to Kai.
“No problem Tyun!” Kai smiled and went inside in their classroom.)
Taehyun laughed at the memory, that’s also the reason why Kai figured out who is his crush.
Taehyun brushed it aside and went back to work, then speaking of Kai, he banged the door open.
“Tyun! Me and the hyungs will go to a party together tonight, wanna join?” Kai said as he run towards Taehyun.
“Party? What’s the occasion?” Taehyun asked softly, “Well they just want to party and stuff you know? Because we’ve been busy all the time, and we barely hang out” Kai deeply sighed, “And I want us to unwind also” Kai smiled at Taehyun.
“Sure, but is he coming?” Taehyun said as his eyes finally focused on Kai, “He, as Beomgyu hyung? Yes he’s also coming” Kai said, that made Taehyun nervous.
“Don’t tell me you won’t come because of Beomgyu hyung, and you’re to embarrassed to face your crush?” Kai raised his right eyebrow and looked at Taehyun judging him.
“No! I’m coming…” Taehyun said quietly.
“Splendid! I’ll tell the hyungs!” Kai said pulling out his phone to text them.
Taehyun lets out a loud sigh.
He’s finally seeing him again, after five years.

When Taehyun got to his apartment, he quickly went to his closet to pick some elegant clothes, not that he wants to impress him, but he just want to look pretty (he really want to impress him).
He wore a black mini skirt, not too short or too long, just enough to reveal his milky white thighs, and silver strapless body con top to add volume to his outfit, then a pair of black long boots.
He styled his hair into wavy like style, and add some makeup to his face.
Then when he’s done he called Kai to pick him up.
“Kai-ah, I’m done!” Taehyun said through the call.
“I’m at the parking lot in your apartment building, get down now or else we’ll be late!” Kai said through the speakers.
Taehyun quickly grabbed his card and his keys for his apartment, and ran to where Kai is.

They finally arrived at the party.
It was pretty crowded, well after all it’s a party.
Kai and him walked together, as the security asked them if they had reservations inside.
Kai answered that they knew the Choi’s who had reservations for a private room.
The security quickly let them in.
As he and Kai went to find the room, Taehyun suddenly saw a familiar face.
It’s him.
It’s really him.
Choi Beomgyu.
Taehyun quickly snapped to reality when he heard a loud squeak.
It was Yeonjun and his boyfriend Soobin.
“Taehyun-ah!” Yeonjun said as he hugged him tightly.
“Oh I missed you so much” Yeonjun started to pamper him with kisses, and was stopped by his boyfriend by grabbing his waist.
Taehyun and Kai looked at each other, and laughed.
“Jealously is a disease baby” Kai said as he laughed loudly at Soobin, who was raising his eyebrows to them, not leaving his hands on Yeonjun’s waist.
They are laughing together until someone talked.
“Having fun without me already?”
Taehyun turned around only for him to see his crush.
Beomgyu was so handsome and sexy at the same time.
He was wearing a black long sleeve knit sweater with a black tank top inside showing his muscles, which is literally breathtaking for Taehyun, and a black leather skinny jeans, and lastly a black choker.
Taehyun gulped, he’s too breathtaking.
Taehyun’s head was spinning.
Then Kai tapped his shoulder.
“You okay? It seems like you’re about to pass out” Kai said, and Taehyun just nodded and smiled.
“Let’s go to the room first before partying!” Yeonjun said as he quietly walked towards the private room as Soobin followed him.
The three followed them.
Taehyun was too shy to speak, that’s why he decided to stay quiet for a while.
“Woah! This is so huge Yeonjun hyung!” Kai said as his voice echoed through the room.
“Well I want us to have a privacy zone, so I brought this private room” Yeonjun smiled.
“Oh! Taehyunnie why so quiet?” Yeonjun said with concern in his voice.
“I’m just overwhelmed because it’s been a long time since we hang out together like this” Taehyun said as he tried to show them the fakes smile he showed in his life.
“Well enjoy yourself! Me and my baby will be at the dance floor-“ Yeonjun was cut off when Beomgyu spoke.
“Making out, we know and we don’t have to know hyung” He laughed when he received a middle finger from Yeonjun.
“I mean he’s not wrong” Kai said smirking at them.
“Oh come on, you guys don’t have a relationship yet!” Yeonjun said, as Soobin laughed.
And with that bickering, Soobin finally dragged them outside to go the dance floor.
“I’ll get going! Bye!” Kai said as he followed the love birds together.
Now it’s just a room with him and Beomgyu.
“Are you not coming?” Beomgyu said, Taehyun didn’t even spare a glance at him, because he knew he was oblivious.
“I-I’ll be there soon, just resting” Taehyun almost stuttered.
“Suit yourself darling” And with that Beomgyu left the room, without knowing Taehyun blushed so hard.
Taehyun wants to isolate himself, because he can’t bear to see Beomgyu.
Taehyun decides to open his phone for a while to distract himself.
Then one video popped up in his for you page.
‘Saying I like you to my crush everyday until he likes me back (Tip it works!!)’
Taehyun was stunned, he probably wants to do it but for the sake of his dignity and feelings he will not.
But there’s inside of him that wants to do it, because maybe there’s a chance that his love will be reciprocated.
Now he’s biting his lips.
Fuck that tiktok video.
He will do it, because it’s now or never.
And with that, Taehyun went outside to go to the dance floor.

The loud music was ringing in his ears.
It’s been a while since he entered a night club.
So many people are dancing, some of them are making out in the crowd, bathroom, and any places.
Then Taehyun spotted the couple who was busy kissing in the crowd.
He also noticed that Kai was the alternative Dj, after all he graduated as a music producer.
Taehyun just smiled at them.
Then the world suddenly stopped when he sow the man he was looking for.
Beomgyu was dancing freely, swaying his hips ad he followed the beat.
Taehyun wants to kiss him right now.
But then they made an eye contact.
Shit, Taehyun thought.
Now Beomgyu was walking towards him. ‘What the fuck was I supposed to do, oh my gosh he’s walking towards me, shit shit shit-‘
Taehyun was out of his thoughts when Beomgyu wad finally in front of him.
“Hi” He said smiling, the small of alcohol and his sweet perfume was so good, Taehyun wants to smell it forever.
“Hi” Taehyun said awkwardly, “I heard you are an amazing engineer by now?” Beomgyu said.
“Yeah, how did you know?” Taehyun asked him.
“Well let’s just say from Kai” Beomgyu laughed, his laugh was like a heaven in Taehyun’s ears.
“How about you what’s your job?” Taehyun bit his bottom lip, Beomgyu looked at him, making Taehyun nervous.
But then he answered, “I’m a professional doctor by now Kang” Beomgyu said as he sipped his drink.
Taehyun looked at him, thinking he was so attractive when he said his surname.
Taehyun’s cheek turned pastel pink, thankfully the likes were to dark and the led lights was distracting Beomgyu.
Everything was great until Taehyun remembered the tiktok video.
Fuck it.
“Gyu..” Taehyun softly tapped his shoulder.
“mhmm?” Beomgyu said while looking at him.
“I-I.. like you” Taehyun said almost yelling, he can’t believe he’s doing this.
Beomgyu just laughed.
“You’re drunk Taehyun-ah” He said as he sipped his drink again.
Taehyun was hurt but he decided to continue it because he already started it, fuck that tiktok video (again).
“No I’m not, I’m serious, and I didn’t even drink yet” Taehyun said, taking a deep breath.
“Then if it’s true, then I don’t like you back” Beomgyu said confidently, as he offered his drink to Taehyun.
Taehyun was stunned, he looked at the drink Beomgyu was handing him, He was hurt but again, fuck that tiktok video, he will continue his plan (even if it’s hurting him).
Taehyun took the drink and quickly chugged it, the taste of the bitterness in the alcohol in his tongue was delicious.
Beomgyu was surprised, “Hey slow down” Beomgyu said as he grabbed his cup back.
Taehyun wiped the liquor in his mouth, and smiled at Beomgyu.
“I like you” He said it again, with no hesitation.
“And I don’t” Beomgyu said.
“I’ll get us some drinks Taehyun-ah” Beomgyu said.
Taehyun was about to cry, but he remembered he started it, and he has to continue it no matter how much he’s hurting.
Beomgyu came back with two cups in his hand.
Taehyun thanked him for getting him a cup, then they danced together through the whole night.

Taehyun woke up with a headache.
He checked the time, it’s already passed eight in the morning.
As much as he wants to go to work, he needs to rest because he’s having the worst hangover.
He took out his phone and texted Kai.

me: Kai can I call a sick leave today?
Hueningie: Are u having a hangover hyung?
me: yeah, my head hurts so bad.
Hueningie: sure hyung u can count on me >3^
me: Thanks kai!
Taehyun turned off his phone but then he felt his phone vibrate.
*Text message from Choi Beomgyu*
Taehyun was too stunned to speak, but he quickly checked the message.
[Choi Beomgyu]
Beomgyu: hi, just making sure that ur okay
Beomgyu: Ur very drunk last night and u kinda
confessed last night?
Taehyun was stunned, and he was shocked when he remembered what he did last night, and that fucking tiktok video.
Taehyun sighed and remembered that it’s now or never.
me: Yeah, I like u for a very long time now.
Beomgyu: oh okay, sorry but I don’t like u back
Beomgyu: I only see u as a friend.
Ouch.
Okay that hurts, he’s not giving up.
me: it’s okay, I’ll try my best to get you anyway.
Beomgyu: I’d like to see u try
Beomgyu: Anyway I have a patient so gtg!
me: Hey I forgot to tell you something!!
Beomgyu: what?
me: I like you!
Beomgyu: I don’t.
Taehyun lays in his bed hopelessly, why did he do that trend.
Taehyun started overthinking.

It’s already five in the afternoon.
When a loud knock came from his apartment door.
He looked at who was knocking and he saw Kai.
Taehyun quickly opened the door and he was greeted with a loud scream.
“YOU DID NOT!” Kai said.
“Did what?” Taehyun asked confusedly.
“You finally confessed to him!” Kai said as he jumped up and down.
“Oh my gosh, all it took was hanging out together and-“ Kai was cut off when Taehyun spoke.
“He didn’t reciprocate my feelings” Taehyun said smiling.
Kai wad stunned, “Oh my god, I’m so sorry, I didn’t know-“
“It’s okay, I’m not gonna give up that easily” Taehyun said confidently.
Then Taehyun explained how he had the courage to confess to his crush.
“ALL IT TOOK WAS THE ONE TIKTOK VIDEO!” Kai yelled, Taehyun nodded.
“AND YOU ARE JOINING THE TREND!” Kai yelled again and Taehyun nodded again.
“I don’t know anymore Kai-ah” Taehyun said, Kai just hugged him, “Everything will be alright, just tell me if he’ll hurt you” Kai reassured.
Taehyun nodded again, but then he realized…
“HOW THE FUCK DID YOU KNOW?” Taehyun yelled, Kai just laughed awkwardly.
“Well let’s just say your crush told me?” Taehyun just sighed heavily.
“What’s our plan now? Well you can’t just tell him that you like him day by day through text?” Kai said.
Then Taehyun had an idea.
“Kai-ah do you know where him and Soobin hyung is working?” Taehyun said as he stood up from his bed.
Soobin and Beomgyu are both doctors, in the same hospital, except Soobin is a surgeon and Beomgyu was a pediatrician. Taehyun gets Yeonjun now, doctors are so damn attractive, by ‘doctors’ he meant Beomgyu.
“Uh, at Mirage hospital, why?” Kai said with confusion.
“Okay Kai-ah Thank you!”
Taehyun quickly went to the shower to fix himself, while Kai was panicking and doesn’t know what’s going on.
“Taehyun-ah what’s going on?” Kai said as he watched Taehyun who was still drying his hair while digging through his clothes.
“I’m gonna give him dinner Kai-ah!” Taehyun smiled as he grabbed a pair of baggy pants and a plain white shirt, “Wha-woah Taehyun you are having a hangover, I told our company that you are gonna have a sick leave, and having a fucking headache, but you have a time to get Beomgyu hyung his dinner?” Kai said as he watched Taehyun putting his shirt.
“Kai-ah it’s my chance, why not go for it?” Taehyun said as he quickly returned to the bathroom to brush his teeth.
After Taehyun was done getting ready, Kai gave him a hug before leaving him.
“Please make sure that he’s not hurting you” Kai said as he stood in front of Taehyun’s apartment door.
“I will Kai-ah” Taehyun said giving Kai a smile, Kai just nodded and smiled back.
“Bye Taehyunnie!” Kai said.
“Bye Kai-ah!” Taehyun waved his goodbye.
Then he got his car keys and quickly ran towards the apartments parking lot.
He entered his car then quickly drove to the nearest store where they make a stir-fried beef tripe and he also brought him his favorite honey rice cake.
It’s already seven in the evening when Taehyun got to the hospital.
As soon as he entered the hospital, he went to the lobby to ask what floor is Beomgyu.
“Second floor, to the right you’ll see a pediatrician sign, that’s where he’s working”
“Thank you!” Taehyun bowed to the nurse who was working in the lobby before taking the elevator.

Ding!
The elevator door opened, Taehyun sprung out of the door and began looking for Beomgyu’s office room.
It wasn’t that hard to find.
He hit the bingo when he saw the door sign saying ‘Dr. Choi Beomgyu, Pediatrician’
He softly knocked on the door.
Then it finally opened.
But he wasn’t expecting that Soobin would open the door.
“Oh Taehyun-ah what are you doing here?” Soobin said, Taehyun looked so embarrassed.
“Uhm is Beomgyu hyung there?” Taehyun said quietly.
“Yeah he’s here, come inside it’s cold there” Soobin grabbed Taehyun’s wrist as he pulled him inside of Beomgyu’s office room.
He was shocked to see Beomgyu wearing his lab coat, along with his stethoscope around his neck.
And Oh..
He’s wearing his specs.
Taehyun wants to be in his knees.
But he snaps from his delusions when Beomgyu spoke.
“What are you doing here Kang?” Beomgyu said as he stood up from his seat.
“I should leave you guys alone, I’m off work now Beomgyu, my boyfriend is here now, I got to go!” Soobin quickly bid his goodbye, as Both him and Beomgyu waved their hands at him.
“So..what brings you here?” Beomgyu said making Taehyun flinched in surprise because his face was inches to Beomgyu’s.
“I brought you dinner..” Taehyun said making Beomgyu smirk.
“Well that’s thoughtful of you Taehyun-ah” Beomgyu glance at the paper bag Taehyun was holding.
“H-here!” Taehyun placed the paper bag in Beomgyu’s hands almost hitting his chest.
Taehyun got shocked, but Beomgyu grabbed the paper bag and placed it on the table.
“Thank you, you may leave now” Beomgyu said as he returned to his chair.
Taehyun was dumbfounded by his words, he was awkwardly standing there as he watched Beomgyu fix his things.
“What?” Beomgyu said.
“Nothing, I’ll go now!” Taehyun tried to make it sound joyful and it actually worked.
He opened the door, and just when he’s about to leave he realized he forgot something.
“Oh Beomgyu hyung! I forgot to tell you something..” Taehyun said picking his head through the door.
“What?” Beomgyu said not even sparring a glance at him.
“I like you!” Taehyun said smiling.
“I don’t!” Beomgyu said as he writes something.
Taehyun finally closed the door and lets out a sigh, he checked the time it’s already a quarter to eight.
He quickly went downstairs where he parked his car and went home, crying.

Taehyun woke up the next day.
He checked the time, ‘5:30 am’ He quickly went to shower and picked his clothes for the day.
He was wearing a simple denim pants along with his black belt, and a black polo shirt.
He went to his car and drove off to where his office is.

Taehyun was greeted with a lot of good mornings.
He also greeted them back as he walked towards his own office desk.
He started working when he sat down.
He started measuring the distance of the house he’s going to work on, when suddenly he forgot to eat his breakfast.
Taehyun quickly grab his wallet and went downstairs to get some coffee.

When he was ordering his coffee he saw Yeonjun who was busy drawing something on his iPad.
“One caramel macchiato and a cookie please, also an ice americano” Taehyun said.
“That will be eleven dollars sir” The cashier said.
Taehyun gave her his card and waited patiently for his drink to arrive.
When he finally got his breakfast he quickly walked towards the busy Yeonjun to give him some coffee.
“Yeonjun hyung” He said as he walked towards the confused Yeonjun.
“Oh Tyunnie, what brings you here?” Yeonjun said as he looked at Taehyun.
“I got you some coffee, and you can have my cookie it’s fine” Taehyun said as he placed the drink and pastry in the table.
“Thank you so much sweetie” Yeonjun said, Taehyun just smiled.
“Hyung can I ask what are you doing?” Taehyun said confusedly.
“That boss of ours was telling me to make another design for the new building he was gonna build again, and I’ve been giving him some nice designs but he just told me to redesign it” Yeonjun said as he sigh deeply.
“Woah…well good luck with that hyung” Taehyun said.
“Thank for the food again hyunnie” Yeonjun smiled and Taehyun just nodded.
When Taehyun saw the iced americano he suddenly remembered Beomgyu, which reminds him.
“Oh hyung I got to go! Bye!” Taehyun waved his hands and bid his goodbye to Yeonjun.
“Bye baby!” Yeonjun said.
Taehyun quickly pulled out his phone out of his pocket.

me: Hi hyung!
Taehyun was nervous.
Beomgyu: hi
He’s always been so dry talking to him.
me: uhm, good morning!
Beomgyu: gm, why did u text?
Taehyun, get it together!
me: daily reminder of..
Beomgyu: of what?
me: I like you!

Taehyun waited for him to respond, not even bothering himself standing in front of the cafe door looking like an idiot, because he’s an idiot for thinking Beomgyu will like him back.

It’s almost six in the evening.
Taehyun needs to clock out.
He stood up to pack his things and went to the elevator door.
Then he saw Kai who was rubbing both of his temples as Yeonjun followed him also rubbing his temples.
“Hey!” Taehyun said, the two just waved at him.
“What’s wrong?” Taehyun said worriedly.
“Well that batshit boss of ours was asking me to fix his phone, well I can fix it but it was fucking broken into pieces, how am I supposed to fix that shit!” Kai said as Yeonjun patted his back.
“Well mine was too irritating for my beauty, he asked me to made twenty designs only to pick the ugliest ones from my co-worker” Yeonjun said as both of his eyebrows met.
“Well mine was also stressful, but don’t give up guys! We can do this, Fighting?” Taehyun said.
The three smiled at each other before yelling the loudest ‘Fighting!’ in the universe.

Taehyun decided to give Beomgyu his dinner again.
That’s why he bid his goodbye to Kai and Yeonjun as he entered his car.
Of course he brought some cheesy tteokbokki, to make the menu different today, but he also brought the stir-fried beef in case.
Taehyun walked to the hospital lobby and asked the nurse if Beomgyu was still here.
The nurse said that his duty will end at midnight, Taehyun checked the time.
‘7:47 pm’
It’s still early for Beomgyu to clock out.
Taehyun thanked the nurse and quickly went to the elevator.
When he arrived at the second floor which is Beomgyu’s office room.
He saw Soobin standing patiently waiting for the elevator door to open.
“Oh hey Taehyun-ah! Is Junnie still at work?” Soobin asked making Taehyun smile, “He clocked out the same time as me lover boy, now go fetch your boyfriend!” Taehyun said as Soobin gave him a thank you smile.
“Beomgyu is also at his office! Force him to eat his dinner!” Soobin said before the elevator door finally closed.
Taehyun quickly ran towards Beomgyu’s office room.
‘Dr. Choi Beomgyu, Pediatrician’
Taehyun knocked on the door.
He was impatiently waiting when he heard Beomgyu speak.
He slowly opened the door.
“Kang? What the hell are you doing here?” Beomgyu said as he removed his stethoscope from his neck.
“I brought you dinner?” Taehyun said quietly, almost Beomgyu can’t comprehend it.
Taehyun placed the paper bags on his desk.
But then Beomgyu placed them on the floor beside him.
“Thank you now can you please go!” Taehyun flinched how loud he got yelled at Beomgyu, he swallowed his tears and he plastered a big smile.
“Oh okay..” Taehyun quickly turned back and run towards the door.
Taehyun walked to the empty hallway, he was scared of the dark but he tried to not think of it this time.
When he reached the elevator door, he quickly went inside.
The elevator finally reached the first floor, and he sprung out and ran towards his car because his tears are falling.
He pulled out his phone to text Beomgyu (again) to tell him, that he likes him.

me: and I forgot!
me: I like you!

Taehyun was waiting for a response, but it didn’t happen, with that he went home crying, again.

It’s been a month since Taehyun does this routine.
Taehyun is tired.
But he doesn’t admit it, he’s denial of his feelings.
Him and Yeonjun were at the copy area of their office. Yeonjun noticed his puffy eyes and paleness.
“Taehyun, are you even sleeping? You seem so tired, what’s going on?” Yeonjun, the friend he is, he’s concerned about his health.
“I’m fine hyung, seriously” Taehyun said almost tripping at the printing machine.
“Nope, I’m not gonna believe you, I’m going to call Beomgyu-“ Yeonjun was cut off when Taehyun yelled.
“No!” Taehyun was taken back when he realized he yelled at Yeonjun.
Yeonjun stood there in shock, “I-I’m sorry hyung, I didn’t mean t-to yell at you” Taehyun said in panicked voice.
Then Kai walked in, “Hi guys- woah, what’s wrong with you two?” Kai said and Yeonjun quickly walked out.
Taehyun lets out a loud sigh, “What did you do?” Kai said as he peeked out of the room to look for Yeonjun.
“I accidentally yelled at hyung..” Taehyun looked at the wooden floor.
“Oh come on Taehyun-ah, it’s because of Beomgyu again right? Can’t you just stop, you’re hurting yourself, and we are genuinely worried about you” Kai said, his words slapped Taehyun in reality.
“I’m sorry Tyun, but this is too much, you are really hurting yourself. You need to fucking stop and move on” Kai said once again.
Now Taehyun is crying, Kai just let out a loud sigh and then went to hug his best friend.
Taehyun lets a loud sob in Kai’s arms, he lets go the bottle feelings he’s holding onto for a month.
Then Yeonjun came to the copy room with a bottle of water and hugged Taehyun as tight as he can.
“Shush, we’re here for you” Yeonjun assured.
Kai wiped his tears as Taehyun drunk the whole bottle Yeonjun gave him.
When Taehyun finally stopped, he told them how tired he is and how much he loved Beomgyu.
“Well you should stop Taehyunnie” Yeonjun said, Kai just nodded his head.
“I don’t want to hyung, I just love him so much” Taehyun said.
Kai and Yeonjun looked at each other, then sighed.
Taehyun wants to cry again but it’s no use.

‘5:56 pm’
Taehyun checked the time, he sighed and fixed his things then clocked out, without saying goodbye to his friends.
Taehyun entered his car and went to the same place where he gets Beomgyu’s dinner.
He didn’t listen to his friend’s advice, how ironic of him.
Taehyun entered the hospital, and he already knew Beomgyu’s office room like the back of his hand.
Despite the tiredness of his face, he managed to plaster a smile in his face.
“Beomgyu hyung it’s me!” Taehyun said, then the door opened.
It was Soobin who answered the door, “Oh hi Taehyun, Beomgyu said I’ll take his dinner, so you can go home, he said he doesn’t want to see you” Soobin said sounding like he was forced to say those things.
Then Soobin went outside to talk to Taehyun, Soobin softly closed the door, and pulled Taehyun somewhere.
“I’m sorry I said that Taehyun-ah please forgive me” Soobin said genuinely, Taehyun just nodded.
“Taehyun, I’m not the person to say this but when I saw your eyes you look so tired, and I know it’s about Beomgyu again” Soobin said, “Please stop chasing him, you are hurting yourself” Soobin said as he placed his hand on his nape.
“I’m fine hyung, just give this to him and make sure he eats his dinner” Taehyun gave him a tired smile and Soobin hugged him.
“Yeonjun hyhng told me everything including Kai, I wanna make sure you’re okay..” Soobin said, Taehyun just nodded again.
They parted and bid their farewell to each other, Taehyun watched Soobin walked inside of the room.
Then Taehyun finally left the hospital.

When he got home the first thing he did was text Beomgyu.

me: I forgot to tell you something!

Taehyun just sighed as tears started to pour down.
But Taehyun felt numb, he entered the bathroom and went to shower.

Taehyun can’t sleep that night, because of the voices talking to his head.
Why can’t he just stop and move on?
What if Beomgyu reciprocated his feelings?
His head was spinning because of his thoughts.
Then he remembered the things he’d been doing for love, or you can say for Beomgyu.
He remembered when Soobin called him because Beomgyu was sick and he refused to leave his work, Taehyun remembered how he quickly sprung out of his work to go to the hospital.
(“Taehyun-ah are you busy right now?” Soobin said through the phone, Taehyun was confused, it was mid lunch hour when Soobin called “I am, why the sudden call hyung?” Taehyun said, he heard Soobin sighed through the phone speaker, that’s when he knew something was up.
“Well Beomgyu was sick today, but he refused to leave his work, Taehyun can you pick him up please” Soobin sounds like he was worried, with that information Taehyun quickly grabbed his things and went to his car quickly.
When he was running through the hallway, he came across with Kai, “Tyun where are you going?” Kai said as he sipped his coffee, “Beomgyu hyung is sick, I have to take care of him” Kai was surprised, “Okay.. but he’s a doctor though..” Kai was cut off when he saw Taehyun’s glare.
“Okay fine I’ll let boss know!” Kai said waving his hands to Taehyun, who sprinted towards the parking lot.

When Taehyun got to the hospital he smiled at the nurses in the lobby and he quickly ran towards the stairs inside using the elevator.
He was out of breath when he saw Soobin walking back and forth waiting for him.
“Soobin hyung!” Taehyun yelled, Soobin quickly walked towards him, “Oh thank god, Taehyun he’s in his office” Soobin said in panic.
Taehyun didn’t think twice and entered Beomgyu’s room.
He was stunned when he saw how Beomgyu looked so weak.
His eyes were tired, he was pale, and he kept sniffing and coughing.
Beomgyu looked up, “What the- what are you doing here kang?” Beomgyu said but Taehyun placed his hand on Beomgyu’s forehead and neck to feel his temperature.
Beomgyu was boiling hot, Taehyun panicked.
“Let’s get you home hyung” Taehyun pleaded.
Beomgyu lets out a loud groan, “I-I told Soobin hyung I can handle myself..” Beomgyu said, but he was taken back when Taehyun started packing his things.
“We are going whether you like it or not” Taehyun said, Beomgyu stared at him, and finally sighed in defeat.
Taehyun helped Beomgyu walk even though he can still walk properly, but Taehyun was paranoid.
When they arrived at the lobby to clock Beomgyu’s duty out, they saw Soobin.
“I knew Taehyun will be the one who’ll drag you out of here” Soobin said while sliding his hand to his lab coat.
Taehyun just smiled and walked out saying goodbye to Soobin and the nurses.
“Where’s your car?” Taehyun asked, but Beomgyu answered him with a sigh.
“I didn’t use my car today, Soobin hyung picked me up” Beomgyu looked at Taehyun, then he was surprised when he took them to the hospital parking lot.
“I’m gonna drive you to your apartment” Taehyun said as he opened the car door for Beomgyu.
Beomgyu stared at him for a bit then entered, Taehyun went to the other side to drive.

When they reached Beomgyu’s apartment, Taehyun parked his car in the parking lot.
“I sucked at parking” Taehyun said to make Beomgyu laugh, but it was no use.
“Hey.. how did you know my address?” Beomgyu said worriedly, Taehyun just smiled “I asked Soobin hyung” Taehyun said proudly.
“Oh..okay” Beomgyu said.
They made their way to Beomgyu’s apartment.
It was very cozy and quiet at his apartment.
Taehyun loved the smell of his apartment.
Beomgyu quickly ran towards his bedroom to lay down, Taehyun genuinely was getting worried about his health.
Taehyun locked the front door and went to check Beomgyu.
He was laying down, knees was curled up against his chest as he was covered with a blanket.
Taehyun wants to cry.
“Hyung here’s your things” Taehyun gently placed Beomgyu’s things on his desk.
Beomgyu didn’t answer, Taehyun was worried again.
Taehyun quickly went to Beomgyu’s kitchen to cook him some soup.

After cooking, he placed the hot soup for the sick Beomgyu in a tray, he went to buy him some medicine and got some clean towel and placed it in the hot water and cool it off for Beomgyu.
Taehyun entered Beomgyu’s room.
Beomgyu was coughing loudly, Taehyun didn’t bother to wear a mask, he didn’t care, as long as Beomgyu gets better then he’s fine.
“Hyung?” Taehyun said quietly.
Taehyun placed the tray he was holding in his desk, Taehyun cleaned up for him.
Then he got the wet towel and went to Beomgyu.
“Hyung, can you seat up?” Taehyun said softly, Beomgyu looked so weak, it made Taehyun swell in pain.
Beomgyu groaned as he sat up, he leaned his back against the headboard of his bed.
Taehyun helped him, when Beomgyu was in his comfortable position, he pulled the blanket in Beomgyu’s lap and softly placed the wet towel on Beomgyu’s forehead to cool his fever down.
Then Taehyun got up get the soup he made, “Hyung I made you some mushroom soup, I hope you’ll like it” Taehyun smiled at him.
Beomgyu looked at him, then smiled softly.
That made Taehyun’s heart flutter.
“Here I’ll feed you up” Taehyun said, Beomgyu was too lazy and weak to argue, that’s why he just lets Taehyun do whatever he wants.
Taehyun scooped up some soup and then fed it to Beomgyu.
Beomgyu finished eating the soup and was time for him to take some medicine.
Taehyun gave him the medicine he brought earlier, and Beomgyu willingly took it.
‘6:49’ Taehyun checked the time.
“It’s late you should go home” Beomgyu said, “I don’t want to” Taehyun said stubbornly.
“By the way I picked some pajamas for you, you should take a shower to cool your fever down” Taehyun said.
Beomgyu just nodded.
“Yes, yes but I need my ‘me’ time Kang, I can take care off myself” Taehyun wasn’t buying it but he just let him be.
“Okay.. but I have to tell you something” Taehyun said, Beomgyu looked at him confusedly “What?”
Taheyun walk towards the door, then opened it grabbing his things, “I like you!”
Then with that Taehyun ran out.)
Taehyun laughed at that memory even though it’s hurting him. Then he remembered that time that he brought Beomgyu some ice cream to celebrate his achievement.
(“Congratulations Beomgyu hyung!” Taehyun showed up at Beomgyu’s office again with stir-fried in his hand, and a tub of ice cream.
“What’s the occasion?” Beomgyu asked, “And where is Soobin hyung?” He asked again.
“Soobin hyung went on a date with Yeonjun hyung, so I’ll accompany you to night!” Taehyun said excitedly.
“The occasion is you saved a seven year old girl from her disease!” Taehyun said happily, Beomgyu just smiled, “Okay but this is too much Kang” Beomgyu said.
Taehyun just sat in front of Beomgyu and started preparing his ice cream to eat, “You eat and I’ll eat my ice cream since I already ate dinner!” Taehyun said happily.
Beomgyu just nodded.
Then he noticed a note on the paper bag Taehyun gave him.
‘I like you! >3^’
The note says, Beomgyu looked at Taehyun who was smiling, then Beomgyu said “I still don’t” Taehyun just giggled and ate a spoonful amount of ice cream.)
Taehyun remembered how he smiled even though he’s hurting.
He also remembered a lot of things he did, like saving Beomgyu from the rainy night, giving him some coffee, taking care of him, and more.
Taehyun feels like an idiot, he’s just a man in love.
Taehyun felt sleepy, that’s why he slept with so many thoughts in his head.

Finally it’s Friday.
‘6:02 am’ Taehyun quickly gets up from bed to take a shower.
When he’s done, he picked some casual clothes and went to work, not even bothering to eat breakfast anymore.

Then he arrived at his office.
The usual good mornings he received as he went to his desk.
Taehyun quickly opened his monitor to finish the last work he was working, when Yeonjun and Kai went to him.
Kai placed some cookies in his desk as Yeonjun placed a macchiato on his desk also.
Taehyun could cry, his friends love him so much.
“I know you don’t wanna talk about it but I hope you’re doing alright Taehyunnie..” Yeonjun said, “Hyung is right Tyun, just talk to us if you want, we will listen” Kai followed, Taehyun just gave them a nod and thanked them for the food they gave him before focusing back on his work.
Yeonjun and Kai left his office, Taehyun lets out a loud sigh.

Some time later it’s finally time for him to clock out, this time he’s with his friends.
“Kai-ah wanna grab some few drinks?” Yeonjun said, “No hyung I’m gonna fix my house in animal crossing later” Kai said smiling.
“How bout you Taehyun-ah?” Yeonjun said.
“Can’t hyung, I need to rest, and plus don’t you have a date?” Taehyun looked at him, Yeonjun just smiled.
“Well his duty will be done soon enough nut it’s driving me insane” Yeonjun said, “I just want to see him already” The two looked at each other before laughing.
“Dramatic bitch, you act like you guys didn’t made out” Kai said laughing, then Taehyun followed “Yeah I can see those marks” Taehyun said pointing to his neck.
Yeonjun was shocked, “I told him nit to leave marks” Yeonjun said, then they laughed together.
But they were interrupted when Soobin’s suv was parked in front of the company building.
Soobin rolled down the window calling for Yeonjun.
“Here’s your prince charming hyung” Kai said, as Taehyun giggled.
Soobin as the gentleman he is, he got out and opened the passenger door for Yeonjun, the gentleman he is.
Then Kai yelled “Hyung make sure don’t leave your marks in Yeonjun hyungs neck!” Then him and Taehyun laughed.
Soobin got inside and made the car horn to bid his goodbye to them.
Kai also bid his goodbye to Taehyun since his apartment was just a 5 minutes walk from the company.
Then Taehyun got inside of his car.
And there again he was at the same place where he was buying Beomgyu’s dinner.
When he arrived at the hospital, he quickly waited for the elevator to open then went to Beomgyu’s office as usual.
He was in front of the door, he knocks.
He expects Beomgyu to answer since Soobin already clocked out, but he was surprised when he saw a girl in front of him.
“Hi” She said with a soft voice, Taehyun can feel tears in his eyes but he stopped it from falling.
“Babe who is that?” He heard Beomgyu, ‘Babe?’ Taehyun thought, then he can’t stop the tears anymore, he quickly bowed his head down.
He took the letter out of the paper bag and handed it to the girl, “Can you give him this please, make sure that’s he eats well” Taehyun said as his voice was troubling.
Taehyun bowed and he quickly ran towards the stairs.
“Kang-“ But the girl closed the door quickly.
He didn’t hear Beomgyu call out his name.

Taehyun was in his car crying his heart out.
He placed his head on the steering wheel as he sobbed loudly.
Of course, he really has no chance to him.
He was an absolute idiot, he really thought of him when he was hurting himself.
His friends were right.
He should’ve listened to them, he should’ve known that trend was just gonna hurt him.
Then someone called.
*Yeonjunnie hyung is calling*
He picked up his phone and answered it.
“Taehyun where are you” He was surprised when Soobin was the one who was talking through the speakers.
Taehyun sniffed, “At the hospital hyung why?” That’s when the couple realized it’s too late.
“Shit” Yeonjun said, “I’m sorry Taehyun..” Soobin said.
They really knew.
“What do you mean sorry? Hyung answer me!” Taehyun yelled, but the couple were silent.
“Where are you? We need to talk about this on person Taehyun” Soobin said, but Taehyun just pressed the end call button as tears were flowing.
They knew something was up.
Then he saw Beomgyu again, holding hands with the same girl.
That made him cry again.
After he saw Beomgyu enter his car, he quickly drove off.
His tires squeaked as he drifted away, almost hitting Beomgyu’s car with his spead, earning a loud horn, but he didn’t care anymore.
He sped up at the free way, then he reached his apartment building, thankfully safely.

Taehyun stayed inside of his room.
He was seating alone in his bedroom floor crying.
His knees were above his chest as he burry his face on it.
Then he heard a knock on his door.
He stood up to answer the door.
When he saw who’s at the door he was shocked.
“Taehyun-“
He quickly closed the door, it’s his friends.
He doesn’t want to talk to anyone right know but they made effort to see him here, and he really needs to rant about it too.
He’s tired.
He slowly opened the door for them, “Hi..” Kai said softly, Yeonjun and Soobin followed him inside.
Taehyun closed the door when they got inside.
“Taehyun-ah, I’m so sorry” Soobin said and was about to cry.
“What do you mean sorry hyung?” Taehyun said, confused.
Kai and Yeonjun were busy preparing the food and drinks they brought.
As him and Soobin was talking in his room.
“I knew it was too late to tell you this but, Beomgyu planned something to get rid off you” Soobin said.
Taehyun’s tears began to fall again.
“Beomgyu decided to get a girlfriend in order to get rid of you, I tried to stop him but he’s just being an idiot, and I’m sorry Taehyun-“ Soobin was stunned.
Taehyun hugged him. “Thank you for telling the truth hyung” he said as Soobin hugged him back.
After the talk they both went outside to have some fun with his friends.
Just fun.
No Beomgyu, just fun.
They began drinking some alcohol, and eating some food together, having the best time of his life.
“Go Taehyun! Go Taehyun!” Yeonjun hyped him as he danced freely.
Kai also danced as Yeonjun turned the speaker as loud as it can.
Soobin just watched them in awe, as he drinks his beer.
Then it’s time for the fun part.
Soobin poured Taehyun a big glass of beer and gave it to him.
“CHUG IT TAEHYUN!” Yeonjun screamed.
Kai and Soobin yelled the same.
Taehyun smiled at them as he took the big glass of beer in Soobin’s hand and drunk it.
“CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!” The three men repeatedly yelled.
Taehyun chugged the whole glass without hesitation.
Fuck love, fuck him, fuck everything he has done for him, fuck Choi Beomgyu!
Taehyun finished the bottle as he wiped his lips with the back of his hand.
The loud scream from his friends was comforting to him, he is lucky to have friends like them.
The night happened so fast.
They were just having fun earlier but now.
The Couple was sleeping in the couch, Yeonjun lying on top of Soobin.
Kai was sleeping on the floor.
While Taehyun he had to clean the mess up.
But it’s okay, they helped him forget him that night anyway.

The next morning everyone woke up with headaches.
Taehyun walk out of his room and saw Soobin cooking some hangover soup for them, along with Yeonjun who is back hugging him like a clingy koala.
“Good morning Taehyun” Soobin said, “G’morning sweetheart!” Yeonjun said as he yawned.
“Good morning hyungs, and please get a room not in my apartment” Taehyun walked to the fridge to get some cold water.
Taehyun looked at the man that is sleeping in his couch.
“What did you do to get him there?” Taehyun said.
“Well I have my ways, anyway wake him up it’s time for breakfast” Soobin said as he helped Yeonjun to seat down.
Taehyun wakes up the sleeping Kai, well it was easy for him to wake up.
Then they ate together.

They bud their goodbyes to Taehyun after they ate, then they left.
Taehyun was happy that he has nothing to do today, since it’s saturday and Choi Beomgyu was in the back of his mind right now.

Soobin dropped his boyfriend to their apartment and went to take a quick shower before getting dressed in his scrubs.
Yeonjun yelled at him for forgetting his lab coat back then, that’s why he got his lab coat and stethoscope and kiss his boyfriend as goodbye.

Beomgyu arrived at the hospital, the same time as Soobin.
“Hey!” Beomgyu said but Soobin didn’t respond.
He was confused, didn’t he notice him?
Beomgyu tapped Soobin’s shoulder.
“Hi Soobin-ah” Beomgyu said smiling widely.
“Hi Beomgyu” Soobin said as he placed his stethoscope around his neck.
“Got a surgery today?” Beomgyu asked, but Soobin just hummed in response.
Odd, Soobin always rants about it before doing a surgery how much it hurts his back.
Beomgyu just brushed it off.

It was finally ‘6:02 pm’
It was a pretty long day for him, well after all he was a doctor, he needs to work twenty four seven.
He got excited when he heard a knock, he was expecting a five foot and eleven inches boy in front of him giving him his favorite stir-fried beef for dinner.
But he was shock when he saw his girlfriend.
“Hi Beomie!” She said holding a plastic bag in her hands.
Beomgyu saw it wasn’t his usual stir-fried beef.
It was chicken wings, he despises it.
Beomgyu closed the door.
“Hi” He said making it sound like he’s happy.
“I brought us dinner!” She said happily, Beomgyu was disappointed.
He waited, and waited for the black haired boy to come, but it was already past nine.
“Hey you didn’t eat” She said, Beomgyu was shocked when he saw her finish their suppose to be food by herself.
And Beomgyu was spacing out also.
“I’m not hungry” He lied, his girlfriend just shrugged and smiled.
Beomgyu checked his phone if he missed a message from him, but to his surprise he received no message.
It was odd that he didn’t say his daily ‘I like you’ with an exclamation point in it.
Today was so odd for Beomgyu.

It’s monday again.
Taehyun woke up and does his usual routine.
He felt a little better today.
He showered, got dressed into his casual clothes , and went to work.
He drove off to his work and went to get some coffee first.
When he got to his floor he was greeted with a lots of good mornings as usual.
Then he started working.

It was finally lunch time.
“Taehyun-ah!” Kai yelled.
Taehyun looked at him with embarrassment in his face.
He went to him, “What are you yelling?” He said in embarrassment too.
“Oh sorry, wanna have lunch with me at the cafe?” Kai asked politely, “Were is Yeonjun hyung?” Taehyun asked.
“He went out with Soobin hyung” Kai said, Taehyun walked to his desk to grab his phone and wallet.
“Let’s go?” Taehyun said, Kai just smiled brightly at him.

When they’re at the cafe, they were talking about some work stuff then suddenly Taehyun saw a familiar face.
He panicked.
It was Beomgyu.
Kai didn’t notice at first but he knew that Taehyun’s smile became a frown.
“What’s wrong- oh” Kai saw him.
“Yup we should go” Kai said as he held Taehyun’s hand and dragged them out.
But then Beomgyu noticed them.
“Kai-ah! Taehyun-ah!” Beomgyu yelled.
They stop at their tracks, and look at each other.
Taehyun can’t bear to see him right now.
“Oh hey Beomgyu hyung!” Kai said awkwardly smiling.
Taehyun just stood behind Kai.
Beomgyu smiled at him.
“Are you guys ordering? I’ll treat you some” Beomgyu said, but Kai just smiled and refused.
“Oh I just realized that we have a meeting to attend to!” Kai said as an alibi.
“Right!” Taehyun said as Kai dragged them out of the cafe.
Beomgyu bid his goodbye, but only Kai responded.
Odd, Beomgyu thinks.

It’s been a week since Taehyun was giving him dinner.
He missed it.
“Beomgyu, I’m gonna clock out now to pick up Yeonjun hyung!” Soobin said, Beomgyu just nodded.
When Soobin left he checked the time.
‘7:01 pm’
He was waiting for the black haired boy again to give him his dinner.
“Where is he?” He said as he tapped his feet impatiently.
He waited for an hour then he started to lose hope.
He got up and fixed his things, and clocked out.
Beomgyu remembered the place where Taehyun always buy his dinner.
Because he took him once when he was stranded in the hospital during a stormy night.
He visited the place, it was actually very quiet and peaceful.
Then an old lady came, “Hi grandson what would you like?” She smiled at him politely.
“How much is the stir-fried beef?” He asked politely.
The grandma gave him a big smile.
“Just 8 dollars grandson” She said, Beomgyu was surprised how cheap and delicious the food is, “Then I’ll take one!” He smiled at her.

His order finally arrived, it smells delicious, but he’s feeling nostalgic when he saw the stir-fried beef.
It reminds him of Taehyun.
He just brushed it off and started to eat.
Then the grandma came and sat in front of him offering him w glass of water.
“Here drink some water” She said as she smiled brightly.
“Thank you so much!” Beomgyu said, then the old woman sighed.
“I miss the boy who came here every to by stir-fried beef for this boy that never reciprocated his love” She said, Beomgyu almost choked when she said that.
Was she talking about him?
Then she continued “Everyday he buys this boy a dinner, but when he comes back to buy his own food he always looks so tired and sad” Beomgyu was shock.
“If I catch that boy that didn’t reciprocate his love I will chop his head!” Beomgyu smiled nervously.
Then he asked “Did he mention his name grandma?” He said curiously, then the older smiled at him.
“I think it’s , Taehyang, Taehyun..yeah Taehyun”
Now Beomgyu was stunned.
“Grandson, if someone loves you the way that boy loves his crush, please reciprocate their love, you’ll never know how much suffering they will go through”
Beomgyu can’t speak, he was frozen stunned by the sudden story.
“Oh it’s almost closing time, do you want to stay longer or…” Beomgyu immediately got up and grabbed his leftover food with him.
“It’s okay grandma-nim thank you so much!” Beomgyu bowed and quickly ran towards his car.
That story was shocking.

Kang Taehyun doesn’t by him dinners anymore, and his relationship was falling apart.
It was all stupid, everything he planned out was stupid.
Beomgyu was walking back and forth, as he patiently waited for Soobin to come out of the surgery room.
He should’ve thought about the plan.
He regretted pushing Taehyun out of his life.
Losing him was like losing a soul.
He missed how he took care of him, he remembered when he was sick and he was the man who forced him out to his work to get some rest.
He missed how he treated him so nicely even if he had an exhausting day.
He missed seeing his face, especially his sparkling eyes that holds the whole universe.
He missed how he brings his dinner so that he made sure that he ate, because he knew Beomgyu always skip meals.
And lastly…
He missed Taehyun saying ‘I like you!’ to him.
It hits him suddenly, that he’s slowly falling for him, scratch that, he already fell for him, but he’s just in denial.
But what did he do?
He pushed him anyway, now he’s the one who’s yearning for his love.
“Beomgyu? Yah… Choi Beomgyu!” Beomgyu was startled, Soobin yelled and he finally got back to his senses.
“H-hyung! Soobin!” He said with a worried smile in his face.
“Are you okay?” Soobin said as he fix his lab coat.
“I’m not hyung..” Beomgyu said, Soobin was caught off guard, Beomgyu never said this in his life.
“Want to talk about it?” Soobin said as he checked his watch, “I mean it’s almost my clock out so?” Soobin was dragged at Beomgyu’s office.
“Hyung I think I like Taehyun” Beomgyu said.
Soobin was shocked, “Come again?” Soobin said.
“I like him!” Beomgyu said almost yelling at Soobin.
Soobin smiled like he was relieved, “Then tell him?” Soobin received a glare from Beomgyu.
“What do you mean tell him! I have a girlfriend remember?” Beomgyu said.
“You and your girlfriend always argue every where, I wanna smash my head when I hear people arguing” Soobin said.
Beomgyu just chuckled.
“So what’s your plan? You basically pushed Taehyun out of your life and now you want him back?” Soobin said leaning his body on the door.
Beomgyu was quiet, he doesn’t have a plan.
“I have a idea, but I won’t tell you because you and your girlfriend are still together” Soobin said and as he was about to walk out the door Beomgyu suddenly closed the door loudly.
“Tell me.” Beomgyu said but Soobin is not scared of him.
“I won’t” Soobin rise his eyebrows and went outside.
When Soobin got out he immediately called his boyfriend to tell the shocking news.

“Okay Binnie, I’ll tell Kai baby, don’t worry” Yeonjun said through his phone.
Taehyun was curious about what they were talking about.
“I love you too baby, I got to work now, Bye!” Yeonjun said as he pampered kisses on his phone.
Then the call ended.
“What are you talking about with Soobin hyung, hyung?” Taehyun said curiously.
“Oh nothing, anyway where is Kai?” Yeonjun asked him.
“He’s in the Information technology department, why hyung?” Taehyun said as he pointed at the door.
Yeonjun just smiled at him and ran towards where Kai’s office is.
Now Taehyun is really curious, but he just brushed it off.

It was almost seven in the evening when Taehyun finished his work.
His friends went home already, because Yeonjun had a dinner date with his boyfriend, and Kai was busy working with something.
The office room was empty, he’s alone in the dark room.
Taehyun he hasn’t ate dinner yet, that’s why he packed his things and clocked out.
When Taehyun was about to leave the company, he was startled by someone calling his name.
“Taehyun-ah!”
Taehyun turned to look at the person who was calling him.
To his surprise it was Beomgyu.
Running towards him, he looks so handsome as usual.
Then Taehyun didn’t notice that he was standing in front of him.

“What are you doing here?” Taehyun said.
Beomgyu’s heart sank when he heard Taehyun’s voice in a cold tone.
“Have you eaten yet?” Beomgyu said softly.
“No I haven’t, why?” Taehyun said as he started walking away.
“Hey, wait! I’ll treat you dinner!” Beomgyu said as he held Taehyun’s wrist to stop him from walking away.
But Taehyun pulled his hand and began walking towards his car.
Beomgyu looked so dumbfounded.
He realized he really fuck up.
Then his phone rang.
It was his girlfriend.
“Hello?” He said, but instead of his girlfriend’s voice, he heard something that made his heart burst.
He was hearing his girlfriend screaming and moaning through the call, she was being humped by some guy.
Beomgyu stood there, frozen.
He didn’t feel anything, he’s not hurt, he didn’t cry, just nothing.
He kept his phone on his ear, he can hear the skin slapping on the speakers, which is disgusting.
He quickly ended the phone call, and jumped in his car to go to his girlfriend, and will be now ex girlfriend’s apartment to confront her.
He can’t believe he was attracted to a girl who was cheating on him, and making out with some guy.
He started the car, and the engine growled, he pressed the gas pedal in frustration and drove off.
But he almost hit someone’s car, that was familiar to him, but he just brushed it off because he was frustrated.
It was Taehyun’s car, and he earned a loud horn from him.

Beomgyu quickly went to her apartment and opened her door, she gave him a spare key when they started dating.
Now, he hears loud bangs and screams coming from her bedroom.
He knocks on the door and to his surprise a man answered.
And his girlfriend was shocked.
“Beomgyu- baby.. I-I can explain” She said but Beomgyu just scoffed.
Then the man spoked “Baby? You told me you are single!” The man yelled and got his clothes on and went out.
His girlfriend looks so defeated.
“How long?” Beomgyu said nonchalantly.
“Beomgyu I can explain-“ But she earned a yelled from Beomgyu.
“YOU DON’T NEED TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING!” Beomgyu said, no tears were formed in his eyes.
He doesn’t feel any pain or he’s not hurt.
She kept quiet, “You know what…I dated you get rid of someone who really love me but I was just blind to see it” Beomgyu said as his eyes formed tears as he remembered how dumb he is for letting Taehyun go.
The person that truly loved him.
“And you’re just gonna cheat on me just to get your ass humped!” Beomgyu yelled again, making her flinch.
“We’re done, I’m breaking up with you” Beomgyu said as he dropped the spare keys she gave him, and walked out.
He went home, and texted Soobin what happened.

The next morning Beomgyu doesn’t have any energy to go to work after what happened.
He felt like he was just a toy, but he brushed it off and went to shower.
He got dressed and went to the hospital.

When he reached the hospital he was greeted with a concerned Soobin.
“Hey are you alright?” Soobin said patting his back.
“Yeah just tried, and oh do you know Taehyun’s favorite coffee and pastries?” Beomgyu said as he placed his stethoscope around his neck.
Soobin just smiled at him, “He likes sweet things, and his favorite coffee is caramel macchiato” Beomgyu nodded.
And went to clock in, before heading out.
“Where are you going?” Soobin said.
“I don’t have an appointment this morning so I’m going to get Taehyun some coffee” Beomgyu walked out of the hospital.
Soobin feels like a dad watching his son growing up.

Beomgyu went to a small cafe near Taehyun’s work and got him his favorite caramel macchiato and a slice of strawberry cake.
He entered the company but he was stopped by someone at the lobby.
“Hi sir, uhm you’re not allowed to enter this company unless you have someone to meet or an appointment” She said politely.
Beomgyu smiled at her, “I’m just gonna give this to Kang Taehyun” She nodded.
“And who are you to him?” She asked softly.
“I’m his friend, I’m gonna give him his breakfast” Beomgyu said.
She smiled and assist him towards Taehyun’s floor.
Beomgyu was in an awe because how big Taehyun’s work company is.
Then when they arrived at the fifth floor, she pointed him where Taehyun was working.
Beomgyu just smiled when he saw his black hair that reminded him of a chocoball.
Then he entered the office.
He walked towards Taehyun and placed the coffee and the strawberry cake in his desk.
Taehyun looked at him with his big sparkling eyes.
Beomgyu just smiled at him.
Taehyun was confused.
“Hey, here’s some breakfast for you, I hope you’ll love it” Beomgyu said as he watched Taehyun’s eyes sparkle again.
“H-how did you enter our company?” Taehyun said, Beomgyu pointed the girl who assisted him.
“Thank you..” Taehyun said, Beomgyu can see his cheeks turning pastel pink, Beomgyu just smiled at him.
“Eat up!” Beomgyu said smiling at him.
Taehyun excitedly opened the paper bag where the strawberry cake is.
Then he was shocked when he saw a sticky note in it.
‘I know it’s too late but, I like you! :)’
Taehyun looked at him, Beomgyu just shrugged playfully and smiled.
Taehyun giggled, he’s a very weak man for Beomgyu.

These went for a whole month, Beomgyu usually gave Taehyun some breakfast before going to his work, then write a silly sticky note on how much he likes him.
But something changed when Beomgyu went to Taehyun’s work and saw that Taehyun wasn’t there.
He tried to call Yeonjun, Kai, and even Soobin that is busy doing surgery to people.
He was out of reach.
Beomgyu was about to cry when Yeonjun popped out of nowhere and then looked at the worried Beomgyu.
“Oh Beomie, what are you doing here?” Yeonjun said sipping his coffee.
“Hyung why are you not answering your phone!” Beomgyu said quietly yelling at him.
“Oh” Yeonjun said as he checked his phone, “Sorry, but if you’re wondering where is Taehyunnie, he’s at his apartment, he’s sick” Yeonjun said, Beomgyu was now extremely worried.
Beomgyu went to the pharmacy to get some medicine for him, and went to buy him some soup.
Beomgyu quickly went to Taehyun’s apartment, well he begged Yeonjun to give him his address, and he quickly went to his floor.
When he reached Taehyun’s door.
He knocked on the door with worry, but thankfully Taehyun answered the door.
“Hi..” He said in his raspy and quiet voice, Beomgyu was worried sick.
“How are you? Why didn’t you tell me you’re sick?” Beomgyu said with concern in his voice.
Taehyun responded with a cough, then smiled, “I don’t wanna bother you Beomgyu hyung” But that sentence made Beomgyu scoff.
“Well you’re not bothering me, you never bothered me Taehyunnie, and besides I’m making things up for you since I hurt you so much” Beomgyu said as he softly rubbed Taehyun’s cheeks.
Taehyun smiled and leaned to his touch, “Mhmm, okay” Taehyun said as he pulled Beomgyu inside of his apartment.
Beomgyu gently closed the door and lifted Taehyun up.
“What-what are you doing!” Taehyun said as he kicked his feet playfully as Beomgyu carries him like a bride.
“Giving the sick princess a proper treatment from his prince charming” Beomgyu said as Taehyun giggled.
When they entered Taehyun’s room, Beomgyu gently placed him in his bed, then Beomgyu stood up.
“Where are you going?” Taehyun said pouting his lips.
Beomgyu could kiss that away.
“I’m going to prepare your food and medicine, you wait here sweetheart” Beomgyu said, making Taehyun smile in surprise because of the pet name.
“M’kay! Just be quick!” Taehyun said softly.
Beomgyu smiled and went to his kitchen to prepare the soup he brought and a wet towel for his forehead.
He also prepared his medicine since Yeonjun told him he had a cough and headache.
He placed it on a tray and went back inside.
Taehyun was adorably wrapped around with his fuzzy blanket.
He looks so cuddly and cute, Beomgyu thinks.
“Tyunnie it’s time to eat!” He said.
But then Taehyun started crying, and it kade Beomgyu worried.
“Hey.. what’s wrong?” Beomgyu said with concern and confusion.
“I-I just realized that I’m bothering you, and you ditched your work just to take care of me..” Taehyun said as he sniffed.
Beomgyu placed an hand on his forehead to feel his temperature, then spoke “Taehyun-ah you’re not bothering me and besides I don’t have an appointment this morning, and my patient will be taken care of Soobin hyung if I wouldn’t be there” Beomgyu said as he gently placed the wet warm towel on Taehyun’s forehead.
Taehyun pouted again, but Beomgyu just smiled.
“Now eat up!” Beomgyu said as he grabbed the soup and started to feed Taehyun.
“I can do it myself you know” Taehyun said, but he didn’t even bother to avoid Beomgyu’s actions.
After feeding Taehyun, they laid down on his bed and cuddled.
“I’m so happy that you have me a second chance” Beomgyu said as he held Taehyun tightly.
“I’m so happy that I finally realized how I truly feel, and I’m sorry that I’ve been a jerk to you back then” Beomgyu said, Taehyun looked at him with his sparkling eyes and smiled.
“Thank you for reciprocating my feelings” Taehyun said.
He and Beomgyu were talking how much memories did they make when Beomgyu was busy making up with Taehyun back then.
Like the one that he apologized to his protective friends, including Soobin.
(“What is he doing here?” Yeonjun said as he looked at Beomgyu from head to toe, as Kai scoffed.
“Guys he’s trying to apologize here” Taehyun said smiling at the sight.
Beomgyu was holding flowers in his as the apology gift for his friends.
“Well you hurt our Taehyunnie?” Kai said, smiling when he saw Taehyun smiling in awe, and he also saw the flowers he’s holding.
“But I accept it, but only this time” Kai said, then Yeonjun spoke.
“Same here, but you need to apologize to my boyfriend also, he’s the one whose trying to stop you from that stupid plan of yours” Yeonjun said as he took his flowers from Beomgyu’s hands.
Taehyun and him giggled.)
Also that time that he was jealous of his co-worker Jungwoon who’s been giving him lunch.
(“Taehyunnie hyung!” Jungwoon yelled making Beomgyu turn in surprise.
“Here’s your lunch!” He said, Taehyun took it and smiled at him also patting his head and cheeks.
“Thank you Woonie!” Taehyun smiled as that Jungwoon boy giggled.
Then they were interrupted when Beomgyu cleared his throat.
“Ahem.. I’m still here you know..” He said making a scoff.
Taehyun smiled at him, and giggled.
“Woonie, hyung’s gonna go now! Bye” Taehyun said as he grabbed Beomgyu’s right arm.
“Jealous boy I see” Taehyun said smiles at him, “I’m not jealous” Beomgyu said.
“Okay then, but what’s with the attitude earlier?” Taehyun smiled.
“Fine, I’m jealous, why is he buying you lunch, I’m supposed to be buying you lunch” Beomgyu pouted.
“Don’t worry, no matter who will buy me anything especially lunch, I will always be with you” Taehyun said as he brushed his fluffy hair to Beomgyu’s shoulder.
Beomgyu just smiled.)
Those were the memories they shared and treasured together, and a lot more.
“You are clearly jealous of Jungwoon back then” Taehyun said as he giggled.
“So what if I am?” Beomgyu said smiling.
“I also remember the time that we pranked our hyungs!” Taehyun said giggling.
“Well Soobin almost had an heart attack” Beomgyu laughed.
Then Taehyun pouted again.
Beomgyu wants to kiss him.
“You’re pouting..” Beomgyu said.
“Then kiss it away, darling” Taehyun said.
Before he can even comprehend, Beomgyu connected their lips and kissed him.
The kiss was sweet and tender, he waited for this to happen, all of the waiting and the tears they had, even the realization of his love for him.
The kiss turned passionate as Beomgyu entered Taheyun’s mouth, savoring his lips as their tongues collided.
Taehyun began making whisper noises as Beomgyu kissed him.
Beomgyu held his head as he pressed it against his so he can kiss Taehyun more deeply than before.
Then Taehyun moved his neck as Beomgyu began kissing his jaw until he reached his neck, marking him.
Then Taehyun spoke.
“Stop not now hyung..” Taehyun said breathlessly.
“Why?” Beomgyu said.
“You’re gonna be sick like me also!” Taehyun said pouting again.
Beomgyu giggled and he pecked Taehyun’s pouty lips.
“It’s alright” Beomgyu said.
Then Taehyun asked him something.
“Can I asked you a question?” Taehyun said.
“What is it?” Beomgyu said as he brushed his hair off his face.
Taehyun looks so pretty.
“Can you be my boyfriend?” Taehyun said hiding his face in Beomgyu’s chest.
Beomgyu just smiled, “Look at me sweetheart” Beomgyu said.
Taehyun looked at him with sparkling eyes.
“Of course” And with that Beomgyu pampered him with kisses as Taehyun giggled.

Kai, Yeonjun, and Soobin were surprised when they arrived at Taehyun’s apartment.
Kai had a spare key with him so he immediately went inside without knowing the two were making love.
“Kai closed your eyes and ears my dear child, your father Soobin and I will handle this” Yeonjun said as he loudly knocked on Taehyun’s bedroom door.
“WE CAN HEAR YOU GUYS, KEEP IT LOW!” Yeonjun said making Soobin and Kai laugh.
Then Beomgyu and Taehyun, peeked out from the door.
“Hi!” Taehyun said, the three just scoffed.
“They heard us boyfriend!” Beomgyu said.
“Yup boyfriend” Taehyun responded back with a giggle.
Then the three screamed, they probably gonna need a long explanation to them.
