Lay All your Love On Me

Summary:

“I’m honored you trust me this much.” Jim joked though he was truthful about his words. It was quite a feat for Timmy to tell him no one knew where he was at the current time. Completely at Jim’s mercy. Jim felt a little closer to Timmy with that notion, warmed his heart. He leaned a little on his motorcycle handle, “Just had to see me so badly you snuck out and everything.”
“Shut up. You’re the one who invited me out here,” Timmy said as he walked to where Jim kept the spare helmet attached to the back of his motorcycle. “Now let's get going, we’re running behind schedule and you promised me a date.”

(A.K.A Jim invited Timmy out on a date. Timmy agreed. They do whatever people do on dates. I'm not the best at summaries.)

Notes:

Hello!
I am new to ao3 account wise. Recently I have decided to try out writing fanfiction. Nicktoons has been having me in a chokehold recently so I decided to start with a story relating to that!
Any constructive criticism is welcomed. I hope you enjoy!
I also must thank my wonderful little beta reader, Krowlin!

Work Text:

The California coast was almost peaceful during the afternoon. The ocean was alive and greeted the shoreline with wave after wave. The sun beat down with its warm rays, only combated against by the low winds, which brought a bit of cool relief. Quiet from the sounds of city life, crowds, and other human activity save for the few passing cars.
The serene scene was abruptly interrupted by a whirl of energy. Twisting to life a portal opened its way onto the road, and the roar of a motorcycle engine reverberated from within. As indicated by the noise, a motorcycle with a helmed rider passed through the opening before it closed behind them, disappearing as quickly as it had formed.

Jim was going to be late. The hands on his watch were already ticking towards 1:30 and with very little time he would have to book it.
“Damn Tib distracting me,” He muttered as he sped down the road. His subordinate could not take a hint, or rather he could, and knew just how to piss him off today of all days.

Earlier when he was trying to leave his workshop, Tiberius had caught him in the act. “So where are you off to?” Tiberius had questioned. He liked to drape himself across the guard rail next to the stairs overlooking his workshop layout. A smirk played on his lips and mischief danced in his eyes. He always looked like the Cheshire cat this way. It infuriated Jim to no end.

“None of your business”, Jim snapped at him as he grabbed his keys and started his way up the stairs.
“And why is it not?” Tiberius had replied. “You rarely go out unless it’s to do with us or our counterparts… Since nothing urgent is happening, you’re going out for another purpose. And I want to know why~.” Tiberius had the most punchable face out of all his underlings. How Jim didn’t punch him today of all days was a miracle in itself.

“Get out of my way.” Was all he grumbled out, part of his thought of pushing Tib off the railing, but he was far too useful. He also had a promise to uphold.
“Ooh, so you are going out for another reason!” Tib had followed him into his elevator that led up to their team base, leaving him stuck with the anti-clone for more than he was comfortable with. “Are you going shopping? Are you going to a concert? Are you going to destroy something? Rob anyone? If so, can I come?” Tiberius kept going and Jim kept counting the numbers on the elevator screen hoping it would make it move faster. He could probably make that possible and made a mental note to start on that project later. The ding of the elevator was a huge relief. Jim made a beeline for the hallway which would lead to the garage area where many of the vehicles and gadgets for dimension hopping were kept. Tib followed close behind, though at a safe distance in case Jim chose to lash out. ‘Smart move’ he thought to himself.

“Are you going on a date?” Tib mused. It was clearly said as a joke. It was always a joke with Tib. However, Jim’s body went still and he felt the heat rise to his cheeks. When Jim didn’t make any angry retort, a small gap of silence was left between the two.

“No way!” Turning slightly around, Tib’s eyes were wide with disbelief. “Who is it? Are you being serious?”

“None of your business!”

That’s how Jim ended up being late. All because Tib had to stick his nose into everyone else’s business. He had spent the next 20 minutes threatening and ordering Tib to keep his mouth shut. The latter finally promised to keep his lips sealed. Jim didn’t believe him for a second but would deal with him later.
As of right now, Jim was currently breaking many road laws. Speeding, cutting off people, and driving through red lights. The more mad people got with every violation brought a little joy into Jim's heart as he continued on his way. All the car horns and angry shouts were just what he needed to lift his mood.

Somehow without getting pulled over by the police, as if he would even comply, he saw himself nearing his destination. He came closer to a bus stop, where a figure was leaning against a light pole. Not a secluded area, but one neither of them would likely see anyone they knew. The bright pink all over gave him away. Breaking to a stop in front of the other individual, Jim pulled off his helmet and tried to give his best flirtatious smile.
“Didn’t miss me too much right, Handsome?”

Timmy Turner barely even glanced up from his phone to look at him. Unamusement was clear on his face. Even with the hot weather, Timmy had a pink beanie atop his head, though. It complimented his pink outfit, pink shorts, and a white t-shirt with pink writing on the front. He had a backpack slung over his shoulders, probably stuff for later contained inside.

“You’re late.” That was all he stated. Jim didn’t take it too much to heart, though he was careful with his next few words. After all, Timmy was special. Jim actually cared about what Timmy thought of him.

“Your clone should learn to keep his nose out of everyone’s business.”

“Really? How can one of the smartest people in multiple universes not manage to sneak out of his own base?” This time, Timmy stood up straight and was looking directly at him, A teasing smirk on his face. He had this weird effect on Jim where when he teased and poked fun at him, Jim didn’t want to beat him into the ground. Instead, it made him want to do other… less violent things to the latter.

“Speaking of which,” Jim continued without giving Timmy any more chance to tease, “Where’s your band of idiots today?”

“What did I say about calling them that?” Timmy jabbed back, “And if you must know, the others are off in their universes. I told Wanda and Cosmo to go off wherever. They think I’m at home right now. No one will bother us if that’s your big worry.”

“Now let's get going, we’re running behind schedule and you promised me a date.” With that, he climbed up behind Jim.

“Well then, hold on tight back there sweetheart,” Jim teased as he pulled on his own helmet. Once the two set off, Jim once again sped in between cars and overall ignored the law once again. He felt Timmy tighten his hold around his waist. Timmy would tell him to stop if he wanted to, but at the moment he gave no signal. Jim didn’t know California as well as Timmy did, but Timmy gave him the lead today. Jim knew Timmy enjoyed the beach so he did his research and decided that that would be the main event. Speeding through a few more red lights and cutting between lanes and exits, they made it to the edge of a backroad, which would then have a pathway to a secluded beach. Coming to a stop yet again, Jim removed his helmet as Timmy did the same and climbed off behind him.

“I thought we agreed you would be good if I said yes to this date?” Timmy chided, referring to all the road laws Jim had just broken.

“We agreed on no evil, we didn’t say I couldn’t be at least a little bad. It’s my nature after all.” Jim defended himself. Then again, the only way he had gotten Timmy to go out with him in the first place was to agree to at least dial down on the evil. Normally he would never agree to such an atrocious thought, however, he had this weird urge to make the brunet happy. No matter the cost. “Next time, I can show you how fast this baby can really go.”

“Really!” Timmy perked up at that, blue eyes glistening with excitement. He almost seemed to be vibrating with just the thought. That’s one thing Jim liked most about Timmy, as good as he was, he’ll always be a little bit of a reckless, chaotic, thrill seeker. If there was danger and terror, Timmy was there. Jim was all the more willing to provide that for him.

The two of them made their way down the walkway from the parking lot. Timmy chatted about whatever came to mind. It was a little hard to keep up, though. He’d be telling one story about him and his home friends, the next he’d remember something else and go off about that. Jim didn’t mind, instead finding it rather cute. Especially the looks of confusion Timmy gave him when he forgot exactly what he was talking about.

Jim had never really been to the beach. He knew what a beach was of course. However, since he was born in a lab and then used most of his time planning ways to destroy his original clone he never really had a reason to go. To be fair, his first impression wasn’t much. Just a lot of sand and the smell of salt and dead fish. The wind didn’t help either, instead pushing the odors more into his face. Jim tried to hide his disdain, but a scowl was still evident on his features. Jim couldn’t see how this was the best place to want to spend time, but Timmy liked it. Jim wanted Timmy to like him, so here he was.

Walking a bit further, the beach came into full view. Hidden aside a cliff, a good length stretched out before them. Waves lapped at the sand and a full view of the sky was pictured before them. Jim could hear a few seabirds in the distance and hoped none of them came close. Glancing at Timmy, Jim saw that his face was in awe. Jim felt his insides swell with pride, ‘Bet you never made him this happy Neutron’, he thought to himself. One of his biggest worries was that the original would one day fall for Timmy just as Jim had and try to win Timmy over as well. He’d sooner die than let that happen.

Jim had a small idea that’s why he developed feelings in the first place. Being an almost exact copy, he would like a few of the same things the original Jimmy liked. However, he soon deduced it was not just a simple crush on the battlefield and instead wanted to take it a step further.

Jim remembered how he had found himself sneaking glances at Timmy whenever his team went against Jim’s. When he was supposed to be thinking of the next battle plans he found himself thinking back to the bucktooth brunette on the other team. Wondering what his favorite foods were, favorite activities, what made him laugh, what made him smile, what would make him give Jim his attention. At first, Jim thought he was going crazy; he was the evil clone, not the romantic one. However, he settled on the idea that evil was just the most prevalent emotion, it’s what made him him. It just wasn’t the only emotion he got to feel strongly about. It still made no sense to him at first, it seemed almost incomprehensible. But with a few private flirtatious quips and some one-on-one battles, Timmy got the idea Jim had an eye out for him. Jim even went as far as to catch Timmy alone a few times, asking him on a date only to be rejected.

“How did you find this place?” Timmy’s voice broke through Jim’s train of thought. “I’ve lived in California my whole life and I’ve never seen a beach so.. Empty. Usually, I was stuck with hoards of people. Most I didn’t even like.”

Jim gave a small snort at the last remark, “A genius never reveals his secrets.”

“You didn’t do anything-?” Timmy made a punching motion with his hand. Jim took that as a sign for “evil”.

“No one was hurt.”

“What is that supposed to mean?”

“Kidding.” Timmy gave Jim a quizzical look. Jim could only give a wolfish smile in return. Timmy just shook his head and left the topic alone. It was a nice place after all. All Jim just had to threaten the governor of California to close off a beach. No biggie. No one died at least.

“Well, what do you want to do first?” Timmy asked, he knelt with his backpack. He began to pull out a few items. A beach towel from the looks of it, some sunglasses, and a bottle of water. Spreading out the towel, Timmy took off his shirt, Jim now realizing his shorts were swimming trunks. He also realized how fit Timmy was. It made sense since he and his team were always running around fighting bad guys. Jim had a good muscle mass, at least better than Neutron. He worked out on the regular. He was going to outshine Jimmy Neutron in both brains and physique. Timmy’s was different, though. It was like a mix of lean and bulk. He was fit. He looked good.

Jim finally snapped himself out of his thoughts to answer Timmy.

“Doesn't matter, never been to a beach. I don’t know what you do here.”

“You’re kidding right?” Timmy gave him a confused look, and when Jim didn’t say anything else, Timmy jumped up and stood close in front of him. “How on earth- never mind, we have a lot to do. We are so building sand castles, that’s like beach 101. Ooo, we gotta swim in the ocean too. Treasure hunting, collecting sea shells!” Jim just listened to him ramble. None of it sounded absolutely thrilling to him. Too mundane and seemed like a waste of time. Today was an exception though. The wide grin and sparkling eyes on Timmy seemed to make Jim’s heart beat faster. It won’t be the most fun, but Jim liked Timmy smiling at him like that.

“Just because you’re “evil Jimmy” does not mean you cannot have fun,” Timmy concluded.
“Call me Jim,” Jim interrupted. “The other way is too much of a handful.”

“Ok, Jiiimm,” Timmy drew out the name, “let’s get started- did I bring sunscreen?” Timmy cut himself off. Scampering back to his backpack he dug around before letting out a groan. “I knew I’d forget something. Doesn’t matter, I’ll just wish for no sunburns.” Just like that Timmy’s dilemma was gone. Jim didn’t know what wishing would do, but Timmy was an oddball so he wasn’t gonna question too hard.

“Now come here Jim Jim, we have a sand castle to make.”
______________________________________
Timmy wasn’t sure how he ended up going on a date with Jimmy’s evil clone but here he was. He could recall back to when the latter had begun flirting with him.
Giving teasing words mid-combat. Usually, each person on their squad went after their counterpart. So it was quite a surprise when Jim went after him and Tiberius went for James. It was quite alarming and Timmy for sure thought something else had to be going on. It had to be a trick, to get to them and get the upper hand. It was even weirder when Jimmy had come back with actual injuries while Timmy had only a few bruises here and there. Jimmy had told him to keep his guard up after that.
However, Timmy couldn’t help but feel flustered whenever Jim had gotten a little too close, and words a little too cozy. He had spent a few times ranting to Cosmo and Wanda about the absurdity of it all. He couldn’t deny that Jim was attractive. After all, he was a copy of Jimmy. Who Timmy had had a small crush on in the past. Timmy was worried it was just some sort of rebound crush. Though he tossed that idea aside, Jimmy and Jim were too different. Jim, with his devilishly styled hair and evil smirk, had a different effect on Timmy. He was evil. He was dangerous. He was unpredictable. He was so intriguing and Timmy was too curious for his own good.
To test the waters, he started giving his own remarks in return each time they ran into each other. It was a fun game, which only dug his hole deeper. Again he thought he had tricked himself into falling for the evil clone. Embarrassed and upset, he kept that to himself. This was the guy who was trying to kill one of his best friends. Timmy thought it was best to stop these actions, often trying to forget or ignore Jim entirely. Which proved to be hard since his gang seemed to be getting into some villainous plan at least once a week. Every time without fail, Jim managed to find him and somehow treat him with such sincerity it made Timmy wanna vomit. Jim began asking to go on a date. That’s when Timmy’s mistrust skyrocketed. There was absolutely no way he was serious. Wanda did not like the idea any more than he did. Cosmo just stuck to teasing him about his little admirer.

Eventually, Timmy gave him an ultimatum: If Jim did not plot an evil scheme for a whole month and did not hurt Jimmy as badly as he had in the past, he’d think about it. Jim had fought back more than he had thought he would on those conditions. To his surprise, Jim agreed and it was rather peaceful for months after that. Jimmy had stressed to no end that their evil clones were up to something big. Even Danny and Sponge were worried. Timmy kept quiet, though he still kept himself on high alert. They did eventually meet up with their enemies again, and to a much more jarring discovery, Jimmy walked out of that battle with barely even a scratch.

Timmy had trailed a little more slowly behind the others. He said he would do a little scouting around to make sure that everything was alright. Jimmy had given him a look. Probably confused since Timmy rarely volunteered for the task on his own. Danny had teased him about suddenly being so responsible. Though they agreed and set off for their own universes.

He dropped down to a street corner. Everything had settled down by now. A few cars drove down the streets and a few other people walked down the sidewalks. Timmy walked around, trying to act more relaxed than he was. Cosmo and Wanda had disguised themselves as pins on his hat. Cosmo, after being used as a mallet not too long ago decided to take a small nap, so it was just Timmy and Wanda awake on the small walk.

“There’s nothing in Da Rules about truth serums, correct?”

“No, I don’t think there is,” Wanda responded. “Why do you ask Sport?”

“I wanna know... I wanna know if I can trust someone.”

“If this is about Jim then I think you should leave that alone. It’s too dangerous.” Wanda was the most concerned about Jim out of the three. Often telling Timmy that he should tell the others. Especially Jimmy, since he would have most likely known how to deal with Jim better. Timmy always refused, it also just felt wrong to him for some reason. He didn’t want Jimmy to know his evil clone was trying to get cozy with Timmy. Their relationship had always been friends, even with Timmy’s past crush. Jimmy may have never found out, but ringing up the Jim topic just felt too awkward.

“It’ll be fine,” Timmy promised to Wanda. “So if it’s not against Da Rules... I wish for a truth pill.”

Still, with a look of unease, Wanda waved her wand and a small yellow pill appeared in Timmy’s hand.

“Take Cosmo home. I want to think about a few things.”

“Timmy, are you sure? It could be very dangerous and if we’re not here-“

Timmy cut her off. “I’ll be fine. If I need to escape and get home I’ll have the auto-poofer with me.” He pulled out the small pen-looking object from his pocket.

“If anything happens I’ll click the button and boom, I’m home.”
Wanda still didn’t look too happy but she agreed, hoping Timmy would be smart with his actions. Then she poofed herself and Cosmo back to Dimmsdale.
Timmy continued on his “scouting”. He just continued to walk down a few blocks. Keeping his eye out for anything suspicious. He had found Jim in an alleyway, obscured from any prying eyes.

“So how about that date?” Jim asked when he came into view. Their deal had been completed and Jim was no doubt coming for his payment.

“One more thing.” Timmy started. Jim clenched his jaw at that notion. He stiffened and Timmy thought he was gonna attack.

“We had a deal pretty boy, I agree to your suffocating terms and you go on a date with me.”

Even though his face flushed at the pet name, Timmy still stood his ground. Jim looked like he wanted to argue a bit more, however, he quickly relaxed and gave a quick, “What is it now?”
“I want you to take this,” Timmy said, holding up the pill. “It’s a truth pill. Wa- er, Jimmy made it. There’s no way around it, if you take this I’ll say yes.”
With an apprehensive look, Jim stuck out his hand. Timmy had raised an eyebrow at that, “You’re gonna take it?”

“Yes, now hand it over!” Jim had snapped and Timmy handed him the pill. With one swallow he had it gone. A regular pill would usually take a small bit to work, but with magic on your side, you get quicker results. Timmy asked once again why Jim was asking him on this “date.”

Timmy expected a few things. For example: Jim pouring out his evil plans of using Timmy to get to Jimmy or maybe something about Jimmy trying to psychologically attack Jim with lies of romantic interest. What he didn’t expect was for Jim to suddenly blurt out, “ I think you’re rather attractive.” Jim had looked just as surprised as Timmy felt. “You’ve captivated my attention and I want to know-“ Jim slapped his hand over his mouth at that point. Red to the face and looking more than embarrassed. His mouth kept running but Jim was doing a pretty good job at muffling the words. But Timmy got the idea that Jim truly did want a date out of him if not more. He told Jim to shut up before it felt like his own face was gonna melt off. It wouldn’t be too bad, he thought. Jim was pretty handsome, and he did want him for real. Timmy could hardly believe himself. He would never fall for someone this easily, he could still hardly wrap his head around it being Evil Jimmy. He had given Jim his number on his regular phone though. With that, he had left.

When he got home Wanda questioned him after he told her what happened.

“You’re not really going to go with him are you?”

“Of course not”, Timmy had said, like a liar.

Teaching Jim how to build a sand castle was also something he never thought he’d do either. It turned out to be quite fun, but Jim got frustrated easily. He also took it to a whole other level, taking his genius to try and create elaborate sand sculptures. Ones Timmy could only wish to make. Timmy watched in amusement as Jim muttered to himself about where to put what. “Why do we need to build a sand fortress again?” Jim inquired.

“For fun!” Was all Timmy responded with.

“Just for fun? That seems like a waste of time.”

“Buzzkill. There’s more to the beach you know.” Timmy said the sand castle building was getting boring to him anyway.

With that the next few hours were busy with walking the shore, Timmy exaggerating the possibility of treasure and also looking at seashells. Jim would often tease Timmy along the way. Once snagging a pair of sunglasses off his head, ones he had put on before they began their walk. Racing back to the towels Jim had kept them out of reach of Timmy. Timmy had given chase then. However, he was at an unfair advantage since Jim had had the element of surprise. The game of keep-away ultimately ended when Timmy tackled Jim in the sand.

“You asshole.” Timmy huffed above him. Finally snatching his glasses back. Before getting off of Jim. Though Jim couldn’t keep his mouth shut. “Didn’t like the view? I know I did.” Timmy threw his glasses at Jim. He hoped they would hit him in his stupid mouth.
_________________________________________
Jim had hoped to stay a good distance away from the ocean today. He should have been more realistic with his thoughts. It was around 3:30 when Timmy suggested feeling the water a bit. “I prefer to stay dry.” Jim had said, as he walked towards the sea. Letting the waves touch his bare feet, having discarded his footwear hours ago. Jim, on the other hand, was still just about fully clothed. Only taking his shoes and socks off cause Timmy complained he would ruin the “vibe”. He had chosen to wear a fitted black muscle shirt. It had seemed to be the most casual and least restrictive way to go. He had looked up beachwear and the most horrendously colored clothes were all that came up. Why anyone would willingly choose to wear anything like in the pictures was beyond him.
Looser pants were on as well, it didn’t seem like combat pants would be proper attire for today. Altogether being in the water was not an option he wanted to go with. Unbeknownst to him, Timmy had gone into the ocean up to his calves. Before turning around and kicking a wave of his own at Jim. Saltwater sprayed all over him. One thing Jim couldn’t stand was someone one-upping him.

“You’re gonna regret that Turner.” The idea of staying dry was forgotten. This time Jim was the chaser, racing after Timmy through the water. Timmy turns to splash at him every so often. They both laughed as they dunked and splashed each other. Jim being a clone of Jimmy was competitive by nature and, having caught up to him wrapped his arms around Timmy’s waist.

Finally, Jim got a hold of Timmy. He felt his muscles flex against him, but the soft feel of his skin was much more welcomed. It would have been nice to just hold him, but Jim had payback to give. At first, it looked like he was gonna suplex Timmy like some wrestler. Timmy thought so too, letting out a small shriek of surprise. He instead flips Timmy to carry him bridal style but lowers him in a way that seems like he was gonna drop him.

“If you drop me I swear to god!” Timmy cried out, arms quickly going up to cling around Jim’s neck.

“Told you you’d regret it.” Jim’s eyes shown, what usually would be evil was replaced with playful mischief. Timmy didn't seem to be genuinely scared. Jim wondered just how safe Timmy felt with him. “Why don’t we just sit for a bit,” Jim suggested, putting Timmy down.
“Can’t be tired yet? Can’t keep up with me.” Timmy poked at him.

“Not a chance. But it’s about 4:30.”

“Don’t tell me you of all people are gonna listen to those old rules of, ‘no swimming after so and so O’clock,” Timmy scoffed.

“Not particularly, but knowing you, you’d probably drown or get eaten by a shark.” Jim retorted, “And I can’t have you dying out here with me. Your teammates would start a witch hunt. And I’ve got bigger plans.”

“Oh please.” Timmy taunted back, “I’ve seen enough shark movies I could totally take on a shark with my bare hands.” Jim cocked an eyebrow.
“Explain” Jim invited, as they walked back to their little base camp.

A little while later the sun was beginning to set and Jim sat next to Timmy. Their hands were close to touching as they leaned near each other. However, Jim didn’t want to fully take the leap of faith just yet. “It’s pretty,” Timmy stated, he stared ahead. Jim didn’t turn to look at the sun. Instead, turning to look at Timmy. The sun’s final show for the day highlighted Timmy with its goodbye. His skin was a pretty tan and his eyes sparkling, reflecting the light of the waves. His bangs swayed with the evening breeze. Timmy’s hat was still on his head, how it had survived the day was a mystery to Jim. His own hairstyle was starting to come undone. He could feel wisps of hair starting to fall out of place. He didn’t like that at all, but it would be fine since it was near the end of the day.

“You know today was actually pretty fun,” Timmy continued. Jim decided to settle back and lay down. Crossing his arms behind his head as a pillow.
“Told you I’d give you a good time,” Jim replied.

“You know what I meant,” Timmy swiftly said back, a little smile hooked on his lips. His oversized front teeth could still be seen from where Jim was. At first, he thought they were stupid, but now he realized they were quite charming.

“What time do you need to get back goody two shoes?” Jim asked, changing the topic. “Don’t call me that. Makes me sound like a nerd.” Timmy complained back.
“Doesn’t really matter. No one should really be around. Cosmo and Wanda are probably still away. My parents probably don’t know I’m gone.”
Jim glanced up at Timmy when he said, “What does that mean?”

Timmy didn’t answer right away. Instead keeping his gaze straight ahead. He hugged his knees close and started to rock a bit. He eventually replied though he spoke as if his words were just common knowledge. “I’m just.. forgettable in their eyes. My name, my birthday, and even my existence are all knowledge not worth knowing I guess. They love me I know, they just don’t show it the best… It’s ok, I mean, I get to do whatever I want right?” His voice got quieter as he went on.
Jim, not good with emotions, was never going to be all sympathetic with him. Instead just bluntly stating. “You’re like the least forgettable person I know. It’s maddening.”

“Huh?” That was all Timmy got out.

“God, you’re just so... annoying!” Jim gasped out.

“Hey!” Timmy exclaimed, looking a bit offended.

“I couldn’t get you out of my head at all. What do you mean you’re easily forgettable in their eyes? How could you be for anyone? I’m trying to rule the world but instead, you're invading my thoughts like a parasite. Every time we were in the same vicinity it felt near impossible to not look at you. Forgettable my ass. What bullshit have they been taking? Want me to kill them, I’ve done worse...” Jim rambled on, only stopping when he saw Timmy had crawled to Jim’s side and was hovering his face over his own.

“Do you mean that?” He whispered, barely even heard over the sound of the waves and Jim’s now racing heart. “That I’m not forgettable?”

“Forget I said anything.” He tried to turn his head before Timmy brought his hand to his cheek and leaned forward. Jim let his eyes start to slowly close, Timmy took that as a sign to continue. He brought his lips to Jim’s. Timmy’s lips were soft, a gentle feeling. Jim felt his lips mold to his own. It felt like every spot that their bodies touched was heightened in sensitivity. It felt right. Jim was usually a well-collected individual. Right now was different. Right now he was freaking out. He’d never kissed anyone before now. Never having a reason to. He felt as if his body was frozen. Where were his hands supposed to go? Was he doing it right? Was there anything else that should be happening? Just as quickly as the kiss started, it ended. Timmy slowly leaned back. A small blush on his face.

“Was that ok?” Timmy breathed out. Jim sat up, he didn’t bother to reply, instead bringing Timmy back in for a kiss. Any fears before were thrown out the window. Just as long as he could feel Timmy against him it was ok.

It seemed that all his senses were Timmy at this point. The taste of his lips, the feel of his skin on his, if he breathed in, it was just Timmy. His mind was blank now, all focused on the man in front of him. He brought one hand up to cup Timmy’s cheek, while the other he used to stabilize himself on the sand.

Pulling apart, it felt like every nerve feeling was in his lips and his lips alone. Jim’s darker blue eyes drifted to meet Timmy’s brighter ones. A faint pink hue was dusted across Timmy’s features. Jim couldn’t help but find it rather cute. A small smile played on his lips. He could stare at Timmy for hours. He needed to study this man properly. Why was he the positive to his negative? His mind was still reeling from the kiss before, Jim himself ruined the moment by asking, “How did your teeth not get in the way?”

“Jerk!” Timmy shoved him a little. Though he meant no harm by that since he didn’t push Jim too hard. “We better head back, it’s late.” Timmy got up and brushed himself off.

Jim didn’t argue. Picking himself up, he brought up the towel with him and went to hand it to Timmy. Who was busy wrestling his shirt back on. Jim wouldn’t mind if Timmy kept it off though. He wasn’t too worried though. He’d make sure to get Timmy shirtless again one way or another. After they made their way back to Jim’s motorcycle. Climbing on they drove back to where Jim had picked up Timmy. Timmy clambered off, putting the helmet back on Jim’s motorbike. Jim took his helmet off to properly say goodbye.

“I had fun... Let’s do this again sometime.” Timmy said, adjusting his backpack on his shoulders.

“Sounds like a plan. However, I’m not gonna behave this time around. You’re stuck with me now.” Jim stated.

“We’ll see.” Timmy leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the lips before turning and going back to whatever way he got there.

“We’ll see indeed.” Jim put his helmet back on and rode off down the road. The coming months were about to be a whole lot more fun.
____
“So how was your date?”

Jim had barely walked through the door before Tib’s irritating voice assaulted his ears. How could he love and hate the same person like this? It just got more confusing with Timmy and Tib.

Jim didn’t bother to answer, however, he did see Dan and Doodle looking at him with curious expressions. Dan looked more suspicious while Doodle looked more confused. Leave it to Tiberius to not keep his mouth shut. However, Jim was in too good of a mood to put up with Tiberius at that moment. He walked on by, and three pairs of eyes watched him. He didn’t care, too busy recalling the day's events to notice. So what if Tiberius blabbed about him having a date? It wouldn’t stop him from smiling.

“Did you guys kiss?” He heard Tiberius yell from where he was in the center room.

He was definitely going to kill Tiberius in the morning.
