The enemy was standing right in front of them and after getting a beating by one of them, they felt like they couldn’t go on. But after meeting up with one another, their morale grew higher in numbers.
Natsu grinned knowingly at Lucy and punched both of his fists together as he started to get fired up. As for Lucy, she cracked her fingers and smiled over at Natsu. And Happy was flying in the air over the both of them, ready to lend a paw if necessary.
“You guys ready to kick some butt?!” Natsu shouted with excitement.
Happy threw a paw up in the air happily. “Aye!”
“Yeah!” Lucy said firmly after letting out a giggle. “You know it!”
Natsu, Lucy and Happy all watched the enemy stare at them with confusion. That was good, the enemy was caught off guard. Now, they could start attacking.
But before that, Natsu and Lucy high-fived each other as a way to reassure themselves that they had each other’s backs.
“Let’s go, Lucy!”
“Let’s go, Natsu!”
