He should abandon her to burn in the heat of her own fever as he had been left to burn with bombs but he doesn't.

If Lucy spent more time listening to him and less arguing with him then she wouldn't be in her current predicament. “Touch nothing.” Those were such simple instructions and yet she hadn't listened.
By rights he should leave her and continue on without her. Leave her laying there as her body burns in fever instead of playing nursemaid to her. The way her father and people like him had left him to burn with the bombs.
“Bloody Vaulties, think you know everything,” Cooper grumbled under his breath, bringing water to her lips. “Don't know jack shit about the world outside your stupid vaults.”
