You’ve just gotten off your shift at Fasco when you see your teammate Sun, excitedly running up to you. Sun is an inkling with very white eyes -minus the black pupils- and yellow spiky-haired tentacles.
“Guess what Friend!” Sun says once he gets to you.
“What is it?” You ask.
“We made it to the finals!” Sun eagerly announces.
“Really?!” You exclaim, now very excited as well.
“Yup! We’re going against The Glamrocks!” Sun says. You’re suddenly less excited now. The Glamrocks are the top competitors in the scene. They’re practically unbeatable and they’re super popular. Sun seems to have noticed your sudden lack of enthusiasm because he goes on to say “Don’t worry, we’ve got this! We have a week to prepare and we’re going to use it to the fullest!”
“I guess there’s no time to waste. Let’s get to it!” You reply.

Once you and Sun arrive at the battle lobby you see Moon and Eclipse waiting for you.
“Greetings Captain!” Eclipse greets you with a smile and a wave.
“Hey,” Moon quietly says. Moon is a dark-skinned octoling with one eye that’s black and his other eye is red-ish orange-ish with a sky blue pupil. His blue tentacles are done in the punk style.
“Hey guys!” You respond.
“I can’t believe we made it to the finals!” Eclipse exclaimed. Eclipse is a….. you’re not sure what he is. He looks like a mixture of inkling and octoling. His tentacles are spiky like Sun’s and his eyes are mismatched like Moon’s, although Eclipse’s eyes are yellow and red.
“I know right!?” Sun eagerly replies.
“We’re going to have to train a lot,” Moon glumly says.
“Well then let’s get to it!” You say. You and the others go into the locker room to gear up for practice. Sun’s gear consists of his painbrush, a sunny-day tee, a sun visor, and honey and orange Squidkid V shoes. Moon’s gear is an undercover sorella brella, a yamagiri beanie, a shirt with a blue hoodie, and deepsea leather
boots. Eclipse uses an Aerospray RG and wears honey and orange Squidkid V shoes, a Sudadera Celeste shirt, and a Yamagiri beanie. The four of you train all day every day until the day of the finals arrives.

“Alright, team! We are going to take on the Glamrocks and win!” You proclaim to your teammates.
“Yes, we are!” Sun agrees.
“We’ll be in Undertow Spillway so we’ll have to split up a bit. Moon and Sun will cover the sides while Eclipse and I charge the center.” You explain. After fully talking the plan out it’s time for you to head out and take on The Glamrocks.
As your team gets situated on the launchers, you all make sure that your communication devices are working so that you can talk to each other during that battle. The cameras start rolling and you line up your launcher so that you’ll be as close to the center of the stage as possible. Finally, it’s time to fight. You go straight for the center of the stage with Eclipse lagging behind and making sure the area is well covered with ink.
“Freddy and Monty are charging center!” You hear Sun say through the communicator.
“Got it!” You reply. You make it to the center of the stage before Monty and Freddy do and start covering it with as much ink as you can. Eclipse also helps with the range of his aerospray. It isn’t long before Freddy and Monty make it to the center. You use your higher placement to splat Monty before he gets the chance to do anything. Unfortunately, Freddy splats you shortly after. Getting splatted isn’t the most pleasant feeling ever but you recover quickly and try to get back to the center. You squid jump to Sun who’s in a fairly safe location.
“I splatted Freddy!” Eclipse exclaims.
“The others are coming,” Moon warns. The battle goes on with neither side getting much of a lead. For every splat one team gets, the other team gets a splat of their own. You and your team are able to make sure that The Glamrocks don’t get control over the center but, you also don’t get control over the center. Eclipse has been able to throw his booyah boom at the Glamrocks’ spawn area but when one of them gets spatted they cover it up. Occasionally someone will try to sneak up on you from the sides but Sun and Moon make sure that none of the Glamrocks can sneak up on you or Eclipse.
“One minute left!” You hear the arena’s speakers blast as the song that plays when there’s one minute left in a match begins to play.
“We have to push forward! Trap them at spawn!” You order as you try to rush further into the arena. The Glamrocks seem to have the same idea as you because they also start pushing further into the arena. The fighting is about the same as it was before, only more desperate. Exhaustion starts to eat at you as you desperately try to defend your turf.
“Ten!”
Eclipse activates his booyah bomb.
“Nine!”
Eclipse starts charging up his booyah bomb.
“Eight!”
Sun gets splatted by Chica.
“Seven!”
Moon activates his special.
“Six!”
Freddy’s special is fully charged.
“Five!”
Eclipse throws the booyah bomb at Freddy, splatting him, Chica, and Roxanne.
“Four!”
Sun makes it back to the center.
“Three!”
Moon sends a torpedo at Monty.
“Two!”
You splat Monty.
“One! Time up!” There’s a pause as the ink is counted and then; “The Celestials have won!” An announcement plays.
“We did it!” You and your teammates cheer simultaneously. The excitement is palpable. After all this time you finally did it.
