Summary
After Rei's three failed attempts to produce the perfect child, Enji looks elsewhere for a successor. He soon finds it in Takami Keigo. After arresting Keigo's father and capturing his mother as a co-conspirator, he petitions to adopt the boy and raise him as a hero. His quirk is powerful. With that natural talent, he could easily overtake All Might in Endeavor's name.
Keigo, however, soon finds the life of a hero isn't what he imagined. Despite how they look on the outside, the Todoroki family is in shambles. Rei is withdrawn, Fuyumi is a nervous wreck, Natsuo doesn't want to be around his father, and Touya? He'd rather die than see Endeavor choose another successor.
They're all sinking and if he's not careful, they'll drag Keigo down with them.

When Endeavor arrests Takami, he's tasked by the Commission to train Keigo into a proper hero for them. This is a fix it 💖 it tackles the Todoroki problems realistically, and the developments are so well crafted. Worth a re-read 😍Spoilers: this gives such good feels. The pay offs more than make up for the original Todoroki struggles. It ends so happily 💖 it's such a good read 💖 seeing Keigo find a family and watching that family become whole and strong is beautiful 💖🥰💖 I'm so proud of all of them 💖💖💖
