Someoka Ryuugo had never had many friends, he knew that he had a character that made it difficult to see beyond him if he was not known well and only three people in his life had tried.
Endou Mamoru, thanks to whom Someoka was able to become friends with a whole group of people who loved football like him.
Fubuki Shirou, who ended up becoming Ryuugo's boyfriend as well as his best friend.
And Sakuma Jirou, the former Teikoku Gakuen striker.
In truth, neither Sakuma nor Someoka knew how they had ended up being friends and close friends at that. Yes, they had been teammates in Inazuma Japan, but Someoka only considered himself friends with his former Raimon teammates, his boyfriend Shirou, and Sakuma himself, and he knew that for the other striker it was something similar. Apart from Kidou, Fudou, Endou, Someoka (and by relationship, Fubuki) the former Teikoku player had only become friends with Kazemaru and Tobitaka (yes, Someoka is almost sure that Sakuma has some special ability to be friends with just the 'bad' boys of Inazuma Japan).
So it was strange, to say the least, but somehow between being called up for the national team, not being chosen, training and joining the national team, they had become friends, which, although he didn't say it, Someoka is very grateful.
Sakuma never complained about his temper or his constant anger and yelling when he got upset, always willing to listen to him rant about anything for hours. Damn, it had even been Sakuma himself who had pushed him to confess to Shirou when he finished his third and last year of high school with that match between the original Raimon and those who came after.
Because of that, Ryuugo felt like a shitty friend.
How had he not realized in the almost five years that he and Sakuma had been friends that the one with the eyepatch is in love with Kidou when it was so obvious?
Sakuma had noticed immediately when Ryuugo had fallen in love with his snow prince but he had not realized his friend's feelings for the strategist until now, now that he saw him trying not to cry while both of them, along with Fubuki and Endou, They listened to Kidou try to save himself from the interrogation of the doorman who had noticed a hickey on his neck.
As he listened to Sakuma come to Kidou's defense, as usual, stopping Endou's questions to the Googles' relief, Ryuugo made a decision.
Hours later at home, she felt her bed sink when her boyfriend lay next to her looking at what she was writing.
"How about?" Ryuugo questioned, hoping that Shirou, who made every lady fall in love with just a smile and not just ladies, would give his approval to his plan.
His snow prince frowned before looking at him with a smile.
"Ryuugo, are you sure about this?"
"Yes, I want to see Sakuma happy, Shirou."
After looking at him for a moment, his boyfriend sighed and nodded.
"Okay, I'll help you then."
The striker happily kissed his boyfriend on the lips before separating slightly.
"Let the plan together with the imperial penguins begin then."
"Yes...we have to find a better name for the plan."
