Summary
In no realm of the universe is this supposed to happen, he's not meant to fall in love with a Princess, General, inspirational leader of so many, but he has, so he has to make this work, because Leia's worth everything.
Only slightly complicating Han and Leia's simple romance is Luke, who's damn fine Jedi but an awkward person who's still learning how to be a brother and a friend, and sometimes Han has to remind himself that the kid grew up talking to landspeeders more than people.
Post-Return of the Jedi, before The Force Awakens, very mild spoilers, could be all AU if you haven't seen TFA.
