   Peter had enough sense left to act surprised. “What?”

   “Every Peter Parker here has a crush on him. He’s not interested.”

   Peter gasped hard at her, appalled. “Jessica, I can’t believe you would assume that about me. I’m married, open status or not, it didn’t even cross my mind. I am a complete professional, and this is a professional setting. You should be ashamed of yourself.”

   Jess only needed to wait him out.

   “…But seriously, not even a little? Not even curious?”

   There it was. “Nope. Just thought I’d warn you before he curves you like the rest.” She clicked her tongue as she turned to walk away.

   Peter has a crush on his team leader. Miguel might be open to that, but he's not going to make it easy.

   Started as an origin story for a separate Spiderverse rp, but it got a bit away from me.
   It doesn't come up in-story, but Miguel is trans in this. Perhaps unimportant to (this) plot, but it's important to me.
