Stolas grinned and held up a finger when Blitzø picked up his fork and knife to cut into his waffles.
"What?" Blitzø groaned, throwing his head back, "I haven't eaten since lunch yesterday."
"I don't believe that's my fault," Stolas scoffed, poking a single candle into the center of Blitzø's breakfast and lighting it with the tip of his finger. "My Dearest, Darling-est Blitzy."
"Don't speech."
"I'm speech-ing."
Blitzø groaned.
"I'll make it quick," Stolas chuckled. "You are the best thing that's ever happened to me. I appreciate you every day, and I wish to spend this next rotation around the suns with you. I hope that this next year is just as, if not more, pleasant than the last. Happy birthday, Blitzø."
