One day everything changes.

Notes:

Hi!
This is my second attempt at writing. I've tried different approach this time, so I really hope I've made an improvement and this story is better than the previous one. Also I put quotes from songs between the text, I wish it's a nice addition to better immersion. I also want to highlight that English is my second laguage so please don't mind if i made any mistakes, and this is not beta read too, so there might be some.
I hope you will like it anyway!

It’s just I’m constantly on the cusp

Of trying to kiss you

- Do I Wanna Know? by Arctic Monkeys

In late April, few days after the finals, Wooje and Hyunjoon went for a walk at night. They are walking through busy and crowded Seoul’s streets. It is late evening, but many citizens are still rushing somewhere. Cars are heading in unknown direction, sputtering and honking along the way. Neon signs shine bright in the dark.

This time, they are lucky, people pass them by indifferently. Casual look probably helped a lot. Despite that, they should quickly buy some food and disappear in the backstreet, but Wooje couldn’t decide what he actually wants, so it took some time, which seemed like eternity. Truth to be told, he was a little bit distracted by how good Hyunjoon looked in pretty much everything he wears. It wasn’t the first time, it happens at least once a day, but he couldn’t not to stare anyway. The palpable smell of food didn’t help him stay focused either. Shouting, chatting and laughs surrounded them and melted together, creating discordant mess of sound.

At some point Hyunjoon started to look exasperated, but didn’t say a word, just waited patiently. Wooje is familiar with that expression, so he picked whatever. Hyunjoon paid for both of them, so they could leave the area to eat in peace.

On their way to nearby park, they walked through small and narrow backstreets. There were almost no people here, so Wooje took off his hood. As they moved forward under dim city lights, loud noises became quieter now. “What took you so long back there? You normally pick up something quickly, so you can eat it faster.” Hyunjoon asked a little bit puzzled while looking on the road ahead. Wooje was glad he wasn’t looking at him, because his cheeks were turning red with incredible speed all of a sudden. “I, um… There was too much to choose from.”

Hyunjoon was unconvinced “Ok, if you say so, but I think you were in some different place at that moment.”

Wooje felt wind coming from behind, it danced, swirled around him and passed by taking a few leaves with it. He shivered and tugged his jacket tighter. “If you don’t believe me, that’s your problem, hyung.”

“Just…Never mind.”

Wooje thinks that night is the best part of a day, cold air every time makes him focused, most of annoying noises coming from the street usually fade away, beautiful deep blue sky worth admiring not to mention, but this time brisk air wasn’t able to whip him out of his musings. He needs to be more careful, less obvious, because one day he is gonna be caught and that’s the last thing he would want.

After a while they arrived at the park and sat on the bench. Finally Wooje could finish his half-eaten food. He took a huge bite and looked at the sky. They were sitting in comfortable silence.

Spring was coming. Grass is looking greener, first birds chirp. The trees sprouted little leaves too, so now they can hear their quiet rustle. It is nice. Wooje likes spring, he likes to see how nature is awakening from the slumber. While enjoying his food and peaceful surrounding, he looked at Hyunjoon’s hands, which are empty now. He finished his food faster than Wooje this time, which is another weird sign.

One thought flew through his mind - he wants to hold them. Feel them. Feel the warmth and texture. Wooje wants to kiss them and intertwine their fingers. He even started to imagine that, but as quickly as it appeared, he hid this idea and turned his sight away.

Since quite some time, Wooje is stranded in that weird in between space. He is dancing between being Hyunjoon’s friend and wanting more. Wooje wants to spend nights with Hyunjoon, touch his incredible body, caress his face, give away every piece of him and his own body, wake up beside Hyunjoon when the night is over. This deadly dance repeats itself almost every day, one wrong move and it could end terribly.

It’s difficult to stay alive, because every time their bodies touch, even for a split second, Wooje feels like he his insides are making flips, like he is burning from desire, like his heart would explode any minute.

Sometimes he thinks it might end well after confessing his feelings to Hyunjoon. He recalls all the moments when he tells the worst joke possible, but Hyunjoon laughs anyway. When something bad happened, Hyunjoon is the first one to check on him, comfort him and trying to make him feel better, every time Wooje is touched by fondness of his older friend. Hyunjoon often tells him he is annoying, but Wooje knows he listen to his every word, and follow him everywhere without hesitation.

Sometimes, like for example, now, he thinks his dreams will never happen in real life. Hyunjoon always keeps his distance, despite Wooje’s little attempts here and there. He often calls him bro too, which normally would be nice to hear, meaning they are on good terms, but in this circumstances it is painful.

Well, the thing is, he is in love with Hyunjoon for at least two years, and with each day passing by it is getting worse and worse. It is suffocating from the inside. He is feeling like his insides are spinning, like something is draining him. He couldn’t stop this inner turmoil, so he sighed, finished the food and hid face in his hands.

Hyunjoon looked concerned. “Hey, what’s wrong, something happened?” He asked worryingly. Wooje immediately looked back at him and put his best mask. “No, no, it’s just… it’s been a really long day, hyung and I feel a little bit tired, that’s all.”

“Oh, okey. Good, I’m glad to hear that, especially after the finals, you know what I mean… Anyway, you would tell me if something was wrong, right?” Hyunjoon replied relieved and threw his arm around Wooje’s shoulders smiling lightly.

He caught himself relaxing under the touch instinctively “Yeah, of course, I know you would listen to whatever I say.” He smirked. Hyunjoon chuckled. “That’s true. I don’t know why I keep doing this, maybe you enchanted me with some spell or something… wait…” he is searching through his mind to find right comparation “I know! It’s Rakan’s R!” He shouted happily and at the same time as fast as he put it there, he withdrew his arm.

This thing again. He does and say something sweet, but with jokingly manner and quickly switches to normal. Wooje loves it and at the same time he hates it. This small happy things should be enough, he should be thankful, but it’s never enough. He would like to do so much more, but he ends up playing along instead “Yeah, you got me, hyung, now my cover is blown!”

“I knew it!” Hyunjoon laughed wholeheartedly. Wooje is addicted to this sound, he wants to hear it until the end of the world. It is one of a few things he likes to hear the most. His heart skipped a few beats. Despite the sadness he felt, Wooje smiled, because hearing Hyunjoon’s laugh always made him feel better.

Then, Hyunjoon fished out a phone from his pocket and looked at the screen. “It’s Minseok, he is asking when we are coming back, because he needs something from a convenience store. We better get going before he gets hungry.”

“You are right, he gets angry when he doesn’t get his food. He maybe is the tiniest of us all, but sometimes he is scaring me the most.” Wooje agreed getting up from the bench.

Hyunjoon chuckled and said when he got up “True, it’s the same for me.”

So, they came back home, chatting and joking all the way. Of course they stopped by the store and bought Minseok’s favorite snack. If they came back without it, it would end involving casualties.

I’ve dreamt about you nearly every night this week

- Do I Wanna Know? by Arctic Monkeys

Later that night, after a lot of casual chatting, gaming together, laughing and catching up on LEC finals, Wooje felt tired. It’s been a long day and he is exhausted from keeping his guard high up. He absolutely loves being around Hyunjoon, but restricting yourself from so many things you want to do or say is draining. Sometimes even, it makes you a little bit melancholic too.

Hyunjoon was laying on his side while Wooje was sitting, trying not to fall asleep. Both of them were on his bed, trying to follow why Europeans fight about nothing in the river. At least this time it wasn’t the bloodiest game, like the one he heard about, which happened earlier this split.

His eyes felt like desert, dry and full of sand. So he just laid down, closing his now surprisingly heavy eyelids slowly. He didn’t fight and just let them fall. He could only hear casters saying something about the game from his computer. Yet, after a second it became blurry too.

When Wooje was breathing steadily, and on the edge of entering the dreamland, he felt soft, yet strong hand faintly caressing his cheeks and jawline. It was so tender, so brief, fingers were moving so lightly, that he was certain it was just his imagination and another of his many dreams, which are happening at least half the days of the week. In his dreams, Wooje fantasizes about things he can’t do or experience in real life, things just like this.

Unfortunately he was dreaming about the finals too. He already added them to the pool with the rest of them. He gathered quite a collection by now, and like it usually is, the most recent one will be haunting him for the next month. It is like a nightmare he can’t escape, looped endlessly, constantly reviewing things that went bad, until his mind decides it’s time to stop the torture. So finally, Wooje woke up in the middle of the night among sweaty sheets, noticing blank space beside him.

He was unsuccessfully struggling to fall asleep again, tossing around. Lucky for him, thinking about those events recalled one good moment, of Hyunjoon’s warm, brief smile, backed up by words of encouragement, while golden confetti was falling behind them, on the other side of the stage. He didn’t back then, but now he is smiling back. It’s like a game, you have to try many times to finally succeed. Or at least, it is what he is telling himself very often.

That little, precious memory worked, he slept well for the rest of the night and when he woke up he did remember anything since closing eyes while watching the match.

Lately, I’ve been, I’ve been losing sleep

Dreaming about the things that we could be

- Counting Stars by OneRepublic

Few days later everyone in the team started preparation for MSI. It meant waking up earlier and going to sleep later than usual. That’s why in the middle of the day, after one block of scrims, Wooje was so sleepy. Hence, he had to sneak out to take a nap. Maybe it wasn’t that unusual for him to sleep at daytime in the past, but since he started to go to bed at reasonable hour, he was rarely napping these days.

Games went not that good as normal, but it was only a practice, and they were warming up, trying out new patch.

When he was about to leave practice room, he felt someone grabbed his hand lightly. He startled, jolt rushed through his body, Wooje looked up, and saw it was Hyunjoon, his heart stopped beating for a second. “Is everything okey? You don’t look good.” As fast as he grasped Wooje’s hand, he released it.

“Oh, yeah, I’m fine. I’m just a little bit tired from waking up so early for past few days.” Wooje formed reassuring smile. “I don’t know how you do it every day, all year, hyung.”

“You know, just a discipline, really, you should try it sometimes.” Hyunjoon grinned widely.

Wooje chuckled. “What a good advice, thank you very much. I’ll be going though. I don’t have much time before next block.” He turned away and walked toward the door.

“Right, of course, sleep… well.” Hyunjoon mumbled shyly.

Wooje looked at him again. He is staring at him even. In his beautiful eyes. Hyunjoon’s face is strangely fond and soft now. Wooje is frozen and dumbfounded, trapped in that long moment. His eyes are wide due to shock. Hyunjoon never said such thing before. He might not look like it, but cares about others a lot, though again, he never says anything like it. His words are never this… sweet.

Wooje blinked, nodded and quickly left. He closed the door behind him and leaned against the wall, breathing rapidly, he inhaled deeply and exhaled loudly. He felt blush creeping on his cheeks. What was that?

After a few minutes he calmed down a little, and rushed to the destination place. He laid down and tried to fall asleep, but he couldn’t forget about what happened not so long ago. Train of thoughts was quickly running through his mind. Fortunately, room was dark, simply decorated and cozy, which helped with the focus, so he dozed off in the end. His sleep became lighter recently, though. In his consciousness, he knew it wasn’t good and something is wrong, but he decided to do nothing about it.

Wooje was still half asleep when he heard, like from under the water, the door creak and mattress thud beside him. Although, feeling of a hand brushing off his bangs was way more noticeable. He was fighting with the urge to open his eyes and get up immediately, but he managed to stay still.  Hyunjoon took off his hand and put it on Wooje’s shoulder and caressed it gently.

Wooje thought it can’t be true. What is happening, and what is he doing? Why is Hyunjoon messing with him all of a sudden, after all this time?

Brief moment later he heard a sigh and Hyunjoon shook his shoulder using as little force as possible. It still startled him slightly. “Wooje, I’m sorry, but you need to wake up, we have scrims in 10 minutes. “

Wooje got up quickly. He was feeling a little bit dizzy, confused and still very sleepy. He run his hand trough his hair, he knew they are a mess now. It’s good no one at office really cared about it. When he picked up his composure, he said “Oh, thanks for checking on me, I almost overslept.”

In spite of the same softness on Hyunjoon’s face from before, he smiled and said “Sure thing, we need a toplaner after all, right? I know we are good, but it’s hard to win in numbers disadvantage.”

Wooje scoffed “Huh, now you need me. What about you carrying every game no matter what?”

Smile wasn’t leaving Hyunjoon’s face when he replied “I can still carry easily, but why would I sweat when I don’t need to?” and added “Well, I do it every day at gym anyway, it’s enough.”

Wooje’s mind betrayed him and presented him visions of Hyunjoon lifting up very heavy weight, while sweating and flexing muscles. His hair was flawless though and he was glowing. At that moment he hated his mind, because he liked that image very much. He completely drifted off into his imagination, haven’t replied in quite a while, and looked somehow strange, because Hyunjoon’s face changed and he asked concerned “Hey, something happened? You look … weird”

Wooje came back to reality hearing his voice. “Nothing happened, let’s go already.” He might have sounded a little bit too much annoyed to his primal intend, because Hyunjoon just glared at him for a second, then nodded and headed to the door without saying anything.

Wooje got angry at himself, his friend did nothing wrong and he his talking to him with such bad tone. Wooje put his hand on Hyunjoon’s shoulder, who turned his head to look at him. “Hyunjoon, I’m sorry. I don’t know why I said it like that.” Wooje said, he wanted to say more but stopped, then regardless of it he added with audible hesitation “Can I hug you?”

Instead of replying, Hyunjoon hugged him tightly. Wooje hid his face in Hyunjoon’s neck, breathing steadily. Hugging his older friend always makes him feeling safe, calm, connected and whole, like pieces of him are coming back at their places, but when he let go of him, he is broken again, like an empty shell. Although, he rarely asks for a hug, so now, when he got this opportunity, he was clinging to Hyunjoon, maybe with too much force or it was just suspicious, because Hyunjoon asked “Bro, are you really okey? I have this feeling that…”

Wooje interrupted him and mumbled into his t-shirt “I appreciate your concern, but I’m fine, really.” He was trying to put as much stability and firmness into his voice as possible, hoping to be convincing.

“Oh, okey, good.” Hyunjoon let go of him. “Come on, we can’t be late.”

Might just be my imagination

People can dream

- Dream by OneRepublic

On their flight to China, Wooje was sitting between Hyunjoon on the left and Minseok on the right. There was quite a lot of people on the plane, hence it was frowzily on the board. They had a great time: they ate some snacks, talked a little bit, took many photos, annoyed Minhyung and Sanghyeok sitting in the row in front of them, but traveling is always exhausting, so after a while Minseok was sleeping on his seat with earphones on and head resting on a pillow, you could hear his favorite music permeating from the earphones.

Hyunjoon was looking amazed through the window, admiring world many kilometers beneath the plane. Chinese land was endlessly spreading under them. It almost seemed like they weren’t moving, but they literally passed blue sea placed between the Korean Peninsula and China not so long ago.

Wooje felt tired too, so just like Minseok, decided that he have to sleep a little too. There wasn’t much space to work with, seats are usually placed very close to each other. This time was no different, because of that, and of, you could say, some kind of instinct too, without thinking Wooje rested his head against Hyunjoon’s shoulder, closed his eyes, and put freely hands on his thighs. Hyunjoon seemed unbothered by this movement and stayed still. Wooje stayed like that for a few minutes, unvarying sound of the engine, and indistinct voices were lulling him to sleep.

He woke up unspecified time later. He hasn’t moved yet, just opened his eyes with some trouble. His eyes were dry and heavy, vision blurry, that’s why he was blinking slowly. After a few seconds his vision and mind cleared a little despite still being sleepy. He couldn’t fully process why he is seeing and feeling Hyunjoon’s tender hand grasping his own lightly, Wooje thought his eyes are deceiving him, that it can’t be true, he is doing it again – daydreaming. It made him blink even more, but in the end he realized this time it isn’t only his imagination, it is real, he can really feel it. Then he felt that Hyunjoon is firmly reposing his head against Wooje’s head, his chest is going up and down in the repeatable time cycles, he is breathing in steady rhythm too. That means he is sleeping soundly.

Quick thought rushed through Wooje’s mind, screaming into his consciousness, commanding him that he needs to move, do something, but at the same time he was thinking that he is feeling so good, nice, warm and wants this precious moment to last as long as possible. In the end he resisted and did nothing, just let it be, didn’t make a move and fell asleep again.

All of it was already gone next time Wooje woke up. Luckily it was nearly a moment for the landing, because they were close to the destination point, so he hasn’t got much time to contemplate about it.

Do I wanna know

If this feeling flows both ways?

- Do I Wanna Know? by Arctic Monkeys

After settling at the hotel, Wooje sat down on the bed to think, but took a glance first.

His hotel room was bigger than he expected, designed rather in modern style, but with cozy touch of rugs, cushions and curtains, tiny green plant on the window sill was definitely helping in achieving this feeling. He had small table and chair too. His bed seemed just right, this was good news, because he needs to sleep well for the next few weeks here, but most importantly the whole room looked clean.

He was swirling recent events in his mind. Many thoughts flew through his brain causing confusion, disbelief and shock, it was pure chaos in there. In the end, the most dangerous of it all emerged from heavy tangle of reflections – hope, so it was mix of everything, really. Something changed and he needed to know what. He made it to the conclusion, he has to talk to him.

Wooje wanted to go right after he decided what to do, but time passed quickly when he was immersed in his musings, and because of that, it was almost the time of team’s dinner. It turned out everyone except him was ready to go. He had to tell them to wait and fast prepared himself for going out.

On their way out, he noticed that hotel has beautiful garden and thought it would be a nice place to talk. If he still will be able to do this of course, because he felt like with every second passing by, his will to actually initiate this conversation, was getting lower and lower.

Wooje used this dinner to confirm his suspicions first. He usually is looking at his phone or food whilst joking around, but this time he was focused. Especially for that purpose Wooje sat in front of Hyunjoon to covertly observe his actions. He was almost entirely sure his friend hasn’t noticed anything.

Oh, boy, at the end of the dinner Wooje couldn’t count how many times Hyunjoon was intensively and fondly looking at him when he was convinced that no one sees him. Hope grew bigger in his chest, but he didn’t let it fully flourish and bloom. It’s better this way, he might be disappointed in the end of the day, it’s better to not expect anything.

On their way back he approached Hyunjoon smoothly and said what he had to say before he would forsake his plan entirely, because of fear. Ideally he would like to have everything behind already, but they had to play some games on new accounts riot gave them to use on Chinese super server. Wooje wanted to sound casual and not make a scene, but he failed miserably, his voice was shaking a little “Hyung, um, I need to talk to you later. After solo q.” He doesn’t say this sentence often, and when he does, it means something serious. Seeing worry on Hyunjoon’s face he quickly assured him “Everything is alright, I just need to know something. I simply have a question, that’s all.”

“Oh, okey. I assume you can’t do it right now? Or at least tell me what is it about?” Hyunjoon replied lightly, probably convinced by previous words coming from Wooje’s mouth. He was gazing at Wooje, waiting for response in anticipation.

Wooje couldn’t hold this intensive look, so he glanced at surroundings uneasily. He started to fumble on his words. “No, sorry, it’s… um, it’s important… and…”

After hearing this Hyunjoon seemed relaxed, maybe too relaxed even, as if he was nervous under this facade. His steps changed too, like he was putting some effort to walk properly. Hyunjoon threw arm around Wooje’s shoulders. Hence he could feel how tense Hyunjoon was. In fact, Wooje was equally agitated as him. “It’s okey, I understand. Whenever you want.” They walked like that for a moment, then Hyunjoon unwrapped his arm. They were getting closer to the hotel. “Come on, we have rank to climb.”

Baby we both know

That the nights were mainly made for saying things

That you can’t say tomorrow day

- Do I Wanna Know? by Arctic Monkeys

It was past two am when they finished playing. Wooje was tired, it was another really long day, but he needs to know, there isn’t coming back. He was grateful that he slept a bit on the plane. Wooje turned to Hyunjoon. “Come with me, I spotted nice place, I think you’ll like it.”

They left the hotel through the back door. Wooje led them straight to the garden. It is a beautiful place, full of colorful plants, blooming flowers and green trees, their leaves are moved by cold wind and rustle quietly. There is even a small pond in the middle of the garden with floating water lilies. Koi fishes are swimming freely in the water and it is surrounded by a few special styled benches. Everything is dimly illuminated by lanterns hanging from wooden poles. It feels like a private paradise.

Both of them sat on the bench, beside each other. Wooje was trembling, but not from the coldness of the night. They are sitting in a silence. Usually silence between them is pleasant, right now it is tense and uncomfortable.

Finally, after god knows how long, Hyunjoon broke it by asking with voice unusually quieter. “So, what’s on your mind? You said it’s important.”

Wooje sighed deeply and cleared his throat before starting. “Okey, I need to know. Tell me one thing. How long has this been going on?” he started firmly to his inner surprise.

Hyunjoon looked confused, he glanced at Wooje. “Wait, what do you mean? I don’t know what are you talking about.”

Wooje didn’t answer for a while gathering his thoughts. At that moment he wanted to back off, but it’s too late. If he won’t do it now, he never will. “For how long have you been…” Hyunjoon was still looking at him, so Wooje looked away and squeezed his eyes shut, he sighed again and finally finished “um… For how long have you been holding my hand when I’m asleep?” He didn’t dare to open his eyes.

This time it was Hyunjoon, who couldn’t say a word. Wooje could hear how he almost stopped breathing. “I… I’m… How… How you found out?” Hyunjoon was now intensely staring at the koi fishes in the pond.

Wooje opened his eyes, and he looked at the pond too. “You probably didn’t realize, but I don’t sleep so well recently, I wake up a lot and I have more light sleep than before. I felt some things and I don’t know what to think about it. So um, just answer me please.”

Hyunjoon was still locking his vision on the water and everything in it. “I think, I have been doing it for, I don’t know… six months? Since, half way through worlds maybe?”

“Six months?!” Wooje looked at him while being completely in shock.

Hyunjoon hunched a little, hid face in his hands, and his unwavering facade crumbled, his voice was nearly inaudible. “I’m sorry. Fuck, I shouldn’t have done it. I’m sorry. I…” He sounded very anxious and was scared to look at Wooje.

Wooje saw how panicked he was and he couldn’t bear seeing him like that so, he interrupted him without hesitation and took one of his hands to hold. “Don’t be sorry. Do you... like me? That’s why you kept doing that?” Although he seemed fine on the outside, he was tense too.

Hyunjoon showed his face again, first looked at his hand being held gently by Wooje, then he finally looked at him. Wooje was holding his hand like a treasure, with a great care, like he was scared it would disappear soon. Seeing this, and Wooje’s fond and soft facial features, Hyunjoon relaxed a little, and was able to reply. “Yeah. I’m in love with you for some time now, for about a whole year, I think? At some point I couldn’t resist anymore, you are… so cute…”

“Fuck, Hyunjoon… It’s…” Wooje was too stunned to speak further. This deeply hidden feeling of hope got out of a cage in his chest and bloomed like a flower in the spring. How is it possible, that his dreams were so close all this time, yet he couldn’t reach them until this very moment. Everything he dreamt of for months, was potentially happening in near future. At first Wooje was shaking too, but now he knew everything is gonna be alright, so he calmed down at last.

Hyunjoon couldn’t keep the eye contact any longer and moved his eyes to their connected hands. Cold wind was calming his red cheeks. “It’s weird, I know. I’m sorry… I’ll stop it.”

Wooje saw this and with his free hand rested his fingers on Hyunjoon’s jaw and lifted it, making him look into Wooje’s eyes again. “No, it’s fine. I’m just… sad you didn’t tell me sooner.”

“I wouldn’t know how, to be honest. Wait, you are okey with it?”

Wooje grabbed Hyunjoon’s another hand firmly. Shallow under the surface, right inside of him, happiness picked his way from hope and made him smile. Due to the overwhelming feeling of relief, single tear loomed up close to one of his eyes, it fast came across his cheek and fell down on the ground nearby his sneakers. “Hyunjoon, I’m more than ok with it. I’m sad, because we wasted a whole year…” Their fingers intertwined.

“Hold up, I don’t follow, why we wasted it?” Hyunjoon brightened up, but looked confused and lost in thoughts, as a result of this rollercoaster of emotions his brain couldn’t catch up.

Wooje chuckled in response, still smiling, still holding Hyunjoon’s hands. He released his feelings and his whole body emanated with affection. Smile wide, eyes glowing bright in the dark, love clearly visible. “Because I like you too dummy. So yeah, you should totally keep holding my hands, whenever you want.”

When Hyunjoon found his composure, and fully realized what Wooje meant, he felt like rock vanished from his chest. He was expecting the worst outcome to happen, not the best one. He couldn’t believe it how lucky he is, so he smiled wholeheartedly. “What about this? Can I do this anytime too?” Before Hyunjoon could properly think through what he was about to do, and stop his action, he cupped Wooje’s face and kissed him long and gently. It caught Wooje off guard, but he wasn’t upset about it of course.

Lastly, he had to reluctantly pull back, because both of them were lacking of air. While grasping for air, Wooje said “Definitely, anytime of the day. We have a lot to catch up on.” He settled his hands on Hyunjoon’s neck. Hyunjoon messed Wooje’s dark fluffy hair and rested his arms around him. “Do you want to stay with me tonight?” Wooje asked eagerly.

Hyunjoon replied shyly, but firmly. “You don’t have to ask, of course I do.”

Wooje was pleased with the answer, so he kissed him back.

This night Wooje was feeling warm body beside him, strong arms wrapped around him, soft hand smoothly caressing his face and silky lips tenderly kissing his lips. For the first time in his life, he experienced being whole, complete, full, just perfectly synched. During his life he never felt anything comparable. Wooje dreamt about it every day, constantly for two years.

He doesn’t know when, but Morpheus came for him to take him into his embrace. He slept peacefully the whole night, without waking up. And when he woke up it was already late in the morning, light of the day was already coming through the large windows. The first thing he saw, after opening his eyes, was tranquilly sleeping Hyunjoon hugging him tightly. It was real, he wasn’t dreaming.
