{Jigoku} Together

Summary:

An A.M.V. that showcases mostly Koushiro’s Adoptee storyline and the Izumi family,
while also including brief scenes from "Adventure:" also known as "2020" episodes
that focused on Koushiro’s inclusion or highlights.
(There are a few tiny semi-spoilery segments from final battle
of Digimon 2020 Episodes 66~67, but mainly show Koushiro.)
There are no Tri, Kizuna, or The Beginning spoilers here.

This work was made for "Koushiro (& Tentomon's) Day" 2024! (05-10), May 10th.
The main pairing implied is Koushiro/Taichi; all other dynamics are intended as platonic support.
Song: "Hell Together", sung by David Archuleta.

Notes:

- Happy Koushiro (& Tentomon's) Day!
- In the Japanese fandom, people sometimes post Koushiro-relevant works on this day; May 10th.
Kou = "Go" = "5" in Japanese is "Go", Ten(tomon) = "10", 05-10 = "Kou&Ten", it's a names-based pun.
- This work was made in a spur-of-the-moment editing spree because as soon as I heard the song,
especially once I read the artist had written it about a real-life experience involving their mother,
I KNEW I had to try and make this work for Koushiro and the Izumi family as well!
- This A.M.V. centers mainly on Koushiro's Adoption storyline, thus Izumis are most prominent here,
However, Queer themes ARE involved with Taichi on the side, which is very intentional.
- 2020 Koushiro is included mainly to fill out the A.M.V., but 2020 version and O.G. Koushiro can be viewed as either "separate storylines" or as semi-canon compliant A.U.s (Alternate Universe)'s, it's up to you, the viewer!
- While I do have other ships I also like to read in, the included scenes mainly have Koushiro/Taichi focus, and the others are mainly in the background acting as mostly off-screen support.
- This A.M.V. took about just under two hours to make, but required extra time for saving the file and quality checks, and I don't often make spur-of-the-moment A.M.Vs like this because of how difficult they can be to achieve without outlines made in advance. I originally wanted to add in a few more sequences to smooth it out, but my editor was already beginning crashing on me which is common, so I might update it later on!
- In the meantime, please enjoy!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Notes:

- If you choose to comment, please do so respectfully. Thank you.
- AMV requests (plus requests in general, for any fandom) are NOT open at this time;
Please refrain from making ANY new requests in the comments, thank you!
- If the work goes down at any moment in time; please inform me via comments;
And I will see what I can do!
- (Eventual) "Happy ending" might also be implied, for a reason!...
(Izumis & Taichi ALL are accepting Koushiro fully and completely here as an Adoptee and Queer;
Izumis in turn accept TAICHI by the end!)
- This A.M.V. was made before "Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning" D.V.D released in Japan or the U.S., thus the Chosen as seen there are NOT featured here at all specifically as "The Beginning" canon-timeline (but may appear more in any future works.) As I do not have the footage on-hand to use, I cannot include it.
- Disclaimer: Obviously, I do not own, write, or work for/on Digimon Adventures, and this is a fanwork.
Digimon/Adventures is (C) Copyrighted/owned by ""Akiyoshi Hongo""/Toei Animation; Bandai; etc.
I also do not own the song sung by David Archuleta and I am not affiliated with the singer in any way whatsoever.
- This A.M.V. was made as a Positivity-centric work for a Positivity-focused fandom chosen day. If you do not care for the series, character, themes, etc. or the like when viewing this work, please move on. Thank you very much.
- In the Japanese version of Adventure Episode #24, Vade{r}mon actually refers to "Jigoku", the concept from Buddhism, one of Japan's major religions, when claiming Koushiro; upon (not) giving Koushiro a "choice" to give up Koushiro's Inquisitive Heart (it was localized as "Curiosity" by the U.S. dub, but the original term actually means "Inquisitive Heart" in Japanese!), or otherwise will "get dragged down {into Jigoku}!", not "Hell", so I am including it in the title, though overall the heavily implied secondary theme is the singer leaving their specific religion behind. I tried to tie in Koushiro's Adoption storyline in relation to the themes in order to make the A.M.V. work.
