Summary
He had been so caught up in his thoughts that he didn’t hear the sound of footsteps approaching. He didn’t realize he wasn’t alone until he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist and a strong body pressed up behind him.
Sanji let out a pleased hum as he leaned back into the swordsman's chest, keeping his eyes closed.
Zoro remained silent as they stood there, soaking in each other's presence. They’d only had a few moments during Wano to talk and hadn’t gotten any alone time during the battle and subsequent party. They had tried at one point to sneak away for a little but had been discovered by Hiyori who had looked at them with complete shock and dismay having been hoping to catch Zoro alone before he left. Sanji had felt bad about the heartbreak evident on her face so he’d forced Zoro to behave until they left the island.
