Chapter Text
The sun was crawling her way from slumber, replacing her sisters place in the sky with a bright golden smile across her face. The black sky slowly exchanged in hues of shades of orange and red, colors warm enough to stir the rosters into song. A song that seemed to stir life in the quiet countryside, its squawking stopped only when the hen's pecked him to silence, leaving way for the quiet morning to be enjoyed by those who had started to rise.
As the mist of the morning would part to make way, lingering only as traces of dew that coaxed every surface, the windows would fly open, the brisk morning breeze flowing through her curled locks of a raspberry red. It was a beautiful morning. The song of the morning doves would act as a comforting call to soften the screeches of the roster, coaxing a small sigh from her as she watched the golden fields compliment the bleeding sky. It was still early, perhaps she should let Gangle sleep in just a bit more. After all, that poor mess of ribbons seemed particularly distraught with that rude customer from the prior day, cowering like a dog with its tails between her legs then they made a particularly rude comment regarding the bandana around their neck.
" a bit more rest wouldn't hurt her..."
She would come to mumble, knowing that her heart ached to see such a sweet being brought to tears. Yet her heart seemed to steady as she continued to stare from the window, watching the run rise higher and higher, shooing the fading moon back as the star came to steal the show. It was a beautiful sight. One she had always loved. Basking in its golden warmth, nothing could seem to pull her from the warmth of such a delightful morning, at least until a horrid danger came to make its presence know...
Grrrr....
A beast of a biological breed... rumble from the depths of her stomach with a threat to break itself free has it not been tended to.
Hunger. A painful reminder of the truth of responsibility and needing to feed herself before an even more frightening foe came to stir, hanger.
"hm... a trip to the market should do me good."
