Summary
Sometimes, as they drifted off to sleep—Mike's back pressed up against Michael's chest, his nose against Mike's neck—Michael would feel the soft rumble of a purr from Mike. Michael had no idea what to make of that. Or why the knowledge that he'd caused it had Michael wrapping his arms and legs around Mike like a squid, pulling Mike in even tighter against him. Or why sometimes, even more bewildering, Michael found himself purring in response.
