"I dont know what i even see in you! you clearly never changed one single bit!" connor said angrily as he glares at Riya who did not seem to care about how the grey-haired man was feeling, she was tired of him..and plus now that he was gone she could finally rise up to be what she wanted to be.
"oh grow the hell up! we can be friends outside of the game, there is no need to be so dramatic" riya rolls her eyes at connor while she crosses her legs.
"No! this is over, good luck with your new group of friends..R-riya!" connor said as his voice starts to crack a bit, he was starting to cry a bit, Alec could not help but feel bad for the guy, after all he was such a good friend to have and now there is no way the two could reconnect together, Connor then looks at Alec who seems to feel bad about what had happened, connor still didn’t want to give him an another chance since he did voted for him too.
Connor walks out of the cermony with running tears on his face, this however earns him a insult from Yul
"please do not tell me you are actually going to cry in front of us! Riya as much as i hate your ass I do not know what you saw in that guy, you are such a fucking manchild in season 2!" Yul laughs at connor and points at him while mocking him at the same time, but connor could not be asked to do a slap or even worse on him, so he stayed quiet while walking away in shame, that insult throws him back to a moment where he tried to make a good impression at a party only for him to get bullied because he was in a party with the youngsters, however this was before he was in disventure camp..before he learnt something from riya
He managed to walk out of the cermony while he was trying to recover from what had happened luckily the bus was here to pick him off and it was revealed to be Marcus and Nina, however it seems like Nina is asleep rather then the blonde bus driver holding her this time.
Connor and Marcus has not had any connection with each other even in season 2, the only time they had chatted was when connor's ellimation was up, the two exchanged small chats when they see each other when the bus is here, Connor do find him ok even though he is curious on how his puppet Nina can speak without Marcus’s help
”hello, we meet again.” Marcus said while he greets Connor, it’s a bit hard to tell what emotion Marcus was feeling because his long beard covers his mouth but judging from the tone, he seems happy to see Connor.
”oh hey there Marcus, you did good on that challenge, wish I could be great as you!” Connor smiled as he walks up the stairs and sat on the front of the bus near Marcus.
”thanks you also did too!, Nina was the one who was motivating me to do the drums, it’s been a while since I used the drums!” Marcus said remembering his old schools days, he was a pro when it comes to drumming so doing that again brings him a lot of nostalgia for him
The two did not chatted for a while as marcus was not in any of the teams but instead was a bus driver, still that does not mean marcus thinks connor is good..and handsome at the same time..Wait what-
Connor was already sitting down on one of the chairs near Marcus, he was holding his hand while looking at a selfie that he and Riya had done on his phone, it was during the days where there is no challenge, they looks so happy together...they were meant to be together.
his mind was thinking about why did this has to be like this? he thought Riya could changed after what had happened in season 2 but was it really going to happen? he learnt nothing at all since he watched riya's content and it is all about her showing her new persona and just being cruel and mean..connor felt tears down his eyes again and he started having a bit of a breakdown, he was doing all of this for nothing.
"Hey Connor, I have to stop here just to get something for-“ marcus said but he stopped as he saw that connor was feeling a bit upset, the bus driver suddenly feels bad for him and was wondering what to do? he has some time so he could talk with him on what was going on? could this be a start of a new friendship he wonders? he decided to stand up so he could talk to connor.
"Hey..is there anything you want to talk about?" Marcus said as he sat down next to Connor, in which the latter looks up to with dried salty tears down his face, he gives marcus a sad smile as he was grateful for the support he had gotten.
"Thanks marcus, I'm just annoyed and angry at Riya! I dont know why she is doing this to me, i just wanted to stay in touch with her ever since season 2 had ended...but it seems like she does not want to! she even voted for me instead of yul, i know that three votes would be enough but why cant she just show..." connor spoke before finishing with a small sigh because he did not know what to say
"i'm so sorry that happened to you, riya really did had a big change ever since season 2 ended, she went from a nice person into a..total diva" marcus admits as he looks down in the ground.
“And it’s not just her..it’s Alec too, I thought the two would be able to become friends even after the game but I was wrong..he also voted me off too with his “villain alliance” he had on” Connor said as he still recaps the moment where their alliance was revealed by Miriam, she was such a clever lady.
Marcus has not really been paying attention to the drama since he is a bus driver but he did managed to get a glimspe of Riya in her audition, a actress who is wanting to be the big thing in the film industry and she did it, so why did she had to get rid of the person who is only trying his best to make friends with her?
Marcus places his hand on Connor’s shoulder and gently rubs it.
"hey there, it’s a shame that you two didn’t work out to be a couple or even as friends but there is other people who are willing to give you a chance.” Marcus comforts Connor implying that he is one of those people.
“well, I hope so, after the whole thing going on with me and Riya, I think it’s safe to say that we are never going to get back together, not even as friends” Connor said to Marcus as he express a bit of anger in his tone
Marcus didn’t knew why he was doing this all of the sudden, he wasn’t used to long conversations with any of the campers but Connor is different, does he even like-
wait?
is Marcus in love? Or is this just bromance? he didn’t even knew himself.
“Hey Connor, I’m sure anyone is so lucky to have you as their partner” Marcus admits while he smiles, Connor blushes a bit before smiling back.
”thanks Marcus..hey if you wanna like chat or anything then here is my number” Connor says before he shows Marcus his phone number, the two exchanged numbers and they were later on back on the drive to the hotel with some snacks they shared..
”I hope things goes well for you on the way to camp!” Connor said as he got his belongings out of the van with Marcus’s help.
”thanks..you two” Marcus sparks a grin at Connor as he blushes behind his big and long beard.
the two shared a hug which lasted for ten seconds before parting away, connor walks inside the hotel and he opens the door to see the eliminated contestants doing their own thing, Miriam was the first one to notices Connor.
”oh hey Connor, so im guessing they all eliminated you? What a shame”
“yeah, they did, and to be honest I don’t really care, after all..I think I like someone else.”
”who is the lucky person?”
”it’s Marcus”
”I’m sorry what-“

Marcus was driving his way back to the camp and he smiled at the thought of Connor, maybe he was starting to fall in love again..and maybe this love will exetend unlike his past one.
He really fell in love with Connor.
