Chapter Text
May, I’m grateful
The moment your existence graced this earth.
May, I’m abashed
That I, cold and dull
The way you’re warm and bright.
May, I’m curious
To where your snowy hair came from
To if they’d melt
The instance when sunlight touches
To how they’d break
The moment I’m careless.
May, I’m scared
There, you weep tears of pain
The lilies of the valley, resting on your cheeks.
May, I have this dance?
To twirl you around, joyful steps
Together, we, bathed in moonlight
The nocturne, under your skillful hands
The unnatural cries of the violin, my own
Thundering from inside, a nightlong serenade.
May, we never part.
