If looks could kill, you'd be a murderer.

Summary:

Chuuya and Dazai are sent to UA on a mission, yet the two teenagers find that for them a normal life is way harder to carry out than their usual daily blood-bath. Basically Im just trying to write about them actually having a childhood together, because I need them to experience life as it should be to someone their age :(.

Notes:

HELLO!! I hope you enjoy this chapter, this is my first even fic so it might be kinda shitty snd full of mistakes, I didnt proof-read it yet, so my apologies for anything that doesnt make sense 😔.
ALSO here's a playlist I made with songs that kind of remind me of them, either together or separate, or songs I think they might listen to!!

Chapter 1: The only hope for me is you.

Chapter Text

A voice could be heard from behind the huge doors of Mori’s office, a whisper compared to the bickering between the two teenagers, waiting right outside to be called inside. Dazai, the taller of the two teenagers, sighed, clearly getting bored, and barged into the office spotting his boss and a little blonde girl, Elise, sitting at the table in the middle of the room, waiting for them with a sly smile.

-“Whoa, Dazai! So happy to see you!-“ Mori starts speaking with a soft, honey covered tone, so sweet it almost gave diabetes to everyone in the room. It wasnt that weird to hear the man speak in this tone, it just meant that he wanted something that will most likely displease his favourite executive, his protégé, his *demon prodigy*.

-“Cut this meeting short, please, Mori. What is the mission you want to send us on?” Dazai asks sharply as Chuuya, who entered the office after him, finally stood up from his spot kneeling on the floor.

-“How very rude, Dazai.. But if youre in a rush, who am I to keep you in place” Mori says pushing a bundle of documents forward towards the two, letting them look through the papers on their own.

The two teenagers stare at the papers for a bit, before sharing a small glimpse at eachother, and finally looking back towards the boss.

-“UA? Really, Mori? Youre sending us to fucking highschool?” Dazai says, snorting at the middle of the sentence, before starting to throw insults towards his partner “Maybe thats a good idea, Chibi, here, clearly needs some lessons!”

The sentence quickly restarted the bickering between the two, before the boss cleared his throat, stopping all the commotion in the office and sending them on their way.

The two split up, going to their respective homes to pack some clothes and other necessities into their bags, before meeting once again near the train station.

-“Wahh, chuuya~ This bag is so very heavy! I can not carry it any longer! Be a good dog and carry it for me, will ya?” Dazai says with an insanely dramatic tone that Chuuta knew very well, he could not escape this. But he will resist as much as he can, screaming back at the nickname and at the order received.

-“What!? Im not carrying your damn bag, carry it yourself you weak ass-“ his sentence ended early by a yelp as the bag fell down onto his head. Dazai, the culprit, quickly ran away towards the train, leaving Chuuya to deal with the bags, waiting for him at the entrance of the train with a sly smirk.

In Chuuya’s opinion this mission is a stupid excuse for a vacation, who knows how long it will even take to finish it since their goals are yet to be known. It seems Mori just wanted a moment of peace back at the Port Mafia headquarters, sending his biggest pains onto someone elses back for a while. But at least Dazai looked quite content, his usual stern and stressed expression gone, his eyes ever have a small flicker of light escaping them. If it meant that this break from work would help Dazai to catch his breath, Chuuya was alright with going, afterall he knows how easily his partner seemed to lose control over his own life. Maybe this mission could help him regain some control over his brain, and maybe it would help Chuuya finally learn how to speak properly, using words longer than 3 syllables.

The two enter the train, going into the cabin where they had their seats in and finally sitting down and relaxing, until the ticket inspector barges in, asking for their tickets, to which Chuuya takes the initiative, knowing that Dazai would most likely pull something out his ass and ruin the peace he very much enjoyed. And so with their tickets checked, the rest of the ride until Musutafu was spent with Chuuya sleeping, and Dazai already searching for ways to embarass them in front of their to be-classmates.

After they managed to reach Musutafu, they hop off the train, taking a bus that would leave them directly in front of UA.

-“Ughh, Chuuya this is going to be such a waste of time! Who knows how long we have to go to this highschool.. You could use your time here however, im sure they teach basic grammar in a way even a brute like you can understand!” Dazai says before getting stomped right before getting onto the bus, the bags still both in Chuuyas hands, its not like they were heavy for him at all, and if they were he could always just use his ability, it was the principle of carrying someone elses bags that annoyed him.

As they climbed onto the bus they were met with a pick girl. Wait.. Pink?? Chuuya almost chocked seeing her, forgetting about the existance of mutants outside of Yokohama. His birth place wasnt exactly locked away from the rest of the world, it was more of a open country with very strict rules on entering, and it wasnt like many people wanted to leave in the first place, but that did mean he grew up without seeing different people with quirks in public, after all Yokohama was looked after by the tripartite system, controlled by abilities. For them quirks were nothing more than magic tricks. But still laughing would be impolite, so he quickly slapped himself and bowed slightly, before taking the window seat, after which Dazai came and sat next to him, making sure to occupy all the leg space they had with his long legs.

-“Move over! Youre taking all the space here with your freaky long legs!” Chuuya says, trying to push Dazai away, ending up even more sqashed against the window instead.

-“Come on.. Its not like you need the space, either way! It might as well get used by someone in need, right?” Dazai says, dramatically covering his chest with his hand, hearing a loud scoff from his partner. Chuuya was being weirdly calm today, giving up in all arguments quite early. Was he stressed? How insanely amusing for Dazai this information was, but still he refrained from speaking about it yet, he will leave the teasing for later. Instead he turns to the pink girl who sat just two seats away from them, alongside another weird looking person, a guy with weird joints on his arm, looking awfully like tape dispensers. He starts listening into their conversation finally hearing what he wanted, they were also from UA. Good to see a slither of his future classmates early, this way he can find out how to act around them.

On every infitration mission Dazai chooses between three personalities that he holds up before he grows tired and stops playing with his prey. His favourite one was a stuck up, rich kid that always got on Chuuya’s nerves, his second favourite is his edgy one, he enjoyed the misterious aura around him, and he knew very well how to play it, his least favourite was a very false, extroverted mask that was sometimes forced onto his face if Chuuya wasnt in the mood to make friends. He could only hope that the insane amount of sleep Chuuya was getting, made him all energetic and friendly.

Finally after almost the entire afternoon wasted on the road, the duo reaches UA, entering through the doors uncaring to how it harshly it closed behind them, making their way to the principle’s office. Technically Mori has to have spoken with the principle beforehand, but still it was better to double check everything, after all there was nothing Mori loved more than wadting Dazai’s time. However it seemed they were in luck, all the preparations already done before they got there, they even received two fancy keys to what they assumed would be their dorms. They didnt necessarily enjoy sleeping separately on missions, same room would always prove to be safer, but theyll make do with what they have.

-“Mm, so good to meet you, uhh..? Right! Aizawa, youre our new teacher right?” Dazai says after bumping into a taller mam with some insane dark eye circles, who proceeds to nod, before starting to walk in another direction, assuming that the two would just follow him without issue. And follow him is what they did, ending up in another building where they could spot a huge common place, a bunch of dorms and a nice kitchen, this was way better than Dazai’s small apartment he recently received as compensation after his shipping container got completly destroyed. Aizawa simply left after he had finished his job, mumbling a goodbye, leaving the two teenagers in front of the two empty rooms.

-“Hey, which one d’you want? I want this one! It’s got a balcony, which means i can smoke and you cant jump off” Chuuya says with a grin, listing the advantages of the room he chose.

-“Huh? That’s unfair, you didnt even let me choose! I demand that we switch rooms right now!” Dazai says in his best imitation of an annoying rich kid, his loud whining actually getting some people to leave their dorms to see the new kids standing in front of the empty rooms they chose.

-“Eh?! New classmates? Aizawa didnt tell us! Hello, my name is Izuku Midoriya! Its so nice to meet you!” a kid with green hair says to the two, reaching a hand out, which Chuuya takes, stepping forwards.

-“Hello, yeah its nice to meet you too. Im Nakahara Chuuya, and this dumbass is Osamu Dazai.” Chuuya says, speaking for the both of them before pulling away and trying to escape into his new room. He wasnt exactly tired, but he surely wasnt looking forwards to interacting with 20 teeagers at once, and Dazai wasnt either, so they managed to escape to their respective rooms after a bit of small talk.

Chuuya started to unpack all the clothes and other accessories he took with him, putting them away careful not to crumple them as he wasnt sure whether there was an iron nearby or not. Instead of worrying about his clothes he decided to check on Dazai, as he was getting hungry and he knew that the other bastard wouldnt eat a proper meal if it was made out of pure gold.

-“Dazai? You done? Answer me dammit! I know youre in there!” Chuuya says, banging on his partner’s door. After a few more seconds the door finally opens, Dazai watching him with a small smile as he has changed from his usual Mafia clothes into a more comfortable T-shirt and a pair of black pants. As they make their way into the kitched they run into a small group of people, the guy from earlier on the bus with the tape dispenser arms, two blonds and a guy with hair so red it hurt to look at.

-“Huh?! And who the hell are you two supposed to be? New extras in this damn building? And whats with the bandages on you? You look like you got mauled by a bear” one of the blonds starts speaking, his tone laced with arrogance, but the redhead quickly takes over, apologising.

-“Dont mind him, hes a bit grumpy! Its nice to meet you, Im Kirishima, hes Bakugo, this is Denki, and Sero” he says pointing to all the them, presenting whos who. Chuuya scoffs, still pissed at Bakugo’s way of speaking to them, but nods, thankful for the polite heads-up at their new classmates’ names.

-“What d’you wanna eat? And dont get picky im not going out to buy you shit.” Chuuya says, asking Dazai what he wants to eat, after all Chuuya would eat whatever he saw in frint of him, and considering the way he grew up ite not like he had much chance to be picky with food.

-“I want crab! Please!!~ Do they have canned crab around here? Can you check?” Dazai starts bombarding his partner with questions, checking every cabinet around, being left dissapointed by the lack of canned foods or microwavable meals. “Then i guess stir-fry is alright..” he says with a clear whine, taking a seat on the island next to Chuuya, who already started chopping down some vegetables and preparing the rice for it, as the other people in the kitchen have finally returned to talking among themselves. After around 30 minutes, Chuuya plated the food, handing one of the portions over to Dazai and handing him the key to his dorm, signaling that theyre gonna eat in his room tonight.

Chuuya clearly chose the better room among the two with a nice balcony, even if the room was slightly smaller, the natural light 100% made up for it.

-“Do you have an idea on why Mori-dono sent us here? I mean if anyone understands him it would be you.” Chuuya spoke inbetween bites, having the larger portion of food between the two, knowing that the brunette wont even finish the amount he got probably. “And are we sleeping apart? Wont it be a inconvenience to wake up at every noise? I think we should share the room, take turns sleeping, like usual.” Chuuya continues speaking for a bit, giving his opinion on the building, the weird mouse principle, their new teacher and their classmates that seemed to already annoy him.

-“Who knows, probably information, but i dont doubt he wants something more personal to gain from this place.” Dazai says, blowing onto his food to cool it down a bit. “Aww does little Chuuya miss me so much he cant sleep without me?” he says mockingly, but clearly on board with the idea, understanding quite well the need of safety to be able to sleep properly.

Chuuya finished his plate and the remains on Dazai’s plate before leaving onto the balcony, opening up his pack of cigarettes, looking over to Dazai, almost like expecting him to join. And he was right. Dazai stepping onto the balcony soon after, looking down at the city lights.

-“Y’know, this place is kind of pretty. Obviously not on the level of Yokohama, but its nice.” Chuuya says after taking a few drags of his cigarette, Dazai simply nods, enjoying the silence brought by the night, after all they both grew up in the shadows, under moonlight. This was their true home, under the dark sky, the luminescent stars and emptiness of their bodys. However their peaceful moment got destroyed by loud banging on the door to the dorm, Dazai left to answer the door covering the balcony.

-“Eh?! What are you doing in this dorm, wasnt the other one yours? Dammit, I want to talk to your friend, not to you!” the buy they had already learnt the name of, Bakugo, spat in Dazai’s face, waiting for him to move, but it seemed like his wish wont be accomplished tonight as Dazai made no move to go away, standing his ground.

-“You’re one hell of an unsettling sight, dude, whats with the bandages?” Bakugo continues, trying to push Dazai out of the way. Its not like his looks were unknown to be found ‘creepy’, after all he himself thought he looked like even God discarded him. Truly a fallen angel, dropped down directly from heaven the minute his mask drops, leaking out his radioactive feelings. But still to hear others speak of him like that was quite amusing, so Dazai chuckled before moving to the side as he heard Chuuya re-enter his room. His nose scrunched up at the smell, but he quickly put back his ‘nonchalant’ expression that always made Chuuya laugh, as he leaned onto his partner.

-“Wah, you reek of cigarettes! You know thats illegal right?! Not only are you under 18, youre on UA property!” they hear a voice from outside the room from a tall guy with glasses, clearly a teachers pet from the way he spoke. Chuuya scoffed as Dazai giggled his ass off.

-“Hear that chibi? What youre doing is *illegal~*!” Dazai spoke clearly directly into his ear only to get punched into the jaw, falling backwards dramatically, just as Chuuya pushed everyone else out of his dorm, closing the door after him. “So? Am I sleeping first or are you?” Dazai asks once they are alone once again, waiting for the answer.

-“You sleep tonight, i slept the whole way here. And you better sleep properly, I will check! None of that ‘Im not tired’ bullshit, you got it?” Chuuya speaks quickly, before pushing Dazai onto his bed and taking a seat on a chair nearby, looking outside with a stern expression. You might even describe it as sadness, but if you knew him well you would know he is just home sick. It was rare for Chuuya to leave Yokohama, regardless of how bad it was to him. He has no good memories, and yet he is as loyal as a dog to his master, after all this was always Chuuya’s biggest fault, his fateful and devoted character which as helpful it was for ones around him always seemed to come back to bite him in the ass. Dazai simply smiled, laying down in bed, deciding he could be an asshole another time.

Chuuya spent the night in silence, the drowsiness refusing to let him stay awake the whole night, and yet he succeded, sitting on the floor next to the bed awaiting for his partner to wake up. If there was one thing Chuuya couldn’t stand was silence, yet sometimes the best medication for his mind, always in a state of disarray, everything tangled and out of control was the silence he so much feared. After all the best moment to think was when all you can hear is your own thoughts, yet that was the exact reason he hated the silemce so very much, it forced him to listen to his thoughts, and sometimes he could hear Arahabaki’s mess of hate and disgust. Still he pushed through, the light starying to slip through the blinds into his room. He knew that would not wake up Dazai however, how dare he wake up on his own in such a simple manner, of course he had to wake him up himself. And so Chuuya stood up and got really close to Dazai’s face and started blowing air really harshly, this was his favourite method to wake his partner up simply because it caused him some panic and discomfort. Once he was sure Dazai was awake he stepped away from the bed and went to go change into the, in his opinion, disgustingly ugly uniform of UA. He tried to check whether it was mandatory to wear it, but to his dissapointment it is and will be punished if he doesnt. He doesnt really care about the punishment, after all he went through pretty much all types of torture, but he’d much rather make a decent impression, he didnt want to already get onto his new teacher’s bad side. And so, although he kept the gloves and choker which he refused to take off under any circumstances, he left his amazingly beautiful and perfect style in clothing (he is not arrogant, dont you dare say that) at home. Dazai, unlike him, did not care as much about what he wore, altough even he made some snarky comments about the weird colour scheme.

-“Hahaa~ These colors dont fit you at all! Ive seen trash bags look better than you. Who knew the fashion master couldnt pull something as simple as a jersey off!” Dazai said, giggling loudly, holding onto his stomach.

-“As if you look any better! Youre overestimating how much that shitty face of yours can save your looks when its paired with all the contradictory colors, asshole!”

-“Ohh, Chuuya is using big boy words, contradictory? Where did you even hear that word!” Dazai says grinning before getting raised into the air by the collar of his shirt. “Careful not to damage the walls Chuu~yaa~ we arent home and im sure the expense is more than Mori would enjoy wasting on paying for your damage expenses.”

-“Ugh zip it already, nerd. I aint stupid alright? I know how to read and how to write, and Kouyou spent a shit ton of time teaching me manners and all that bullcrap, y’got it?” Chuuya says, letting fall back to the floor before leaving his dorm waiting in the common area for his partner, watching all the other kids get ready and leave for class. Dazai follows him soon after, walking cheerily out of his dorm, before stopping to look at their classmates, who already seemed to cause him his so very well known disgust for people. Chuuya just scoffed as he left the building where their dorms were inside, leaving for the school, dragging Dazai closely after him, stopping near a corner where he started to speak.

-“Let me make it clear so even your small brain understands, dont force us into issues just because youre bored, alright? Im sick of having to solve all the shit you get us into every single mission. So dont barge in screaming and talking shit, y’got it?”

-“Small brain? Quite a silly sentence to hear spoken about me, chibi! But dont worry, I promise I am not planning anything! Pinky promise!” Dazai says his a sarcastically defensive tone, to which Chuuya just groaned and left to enter the classroom, spotting the.. teacher? Sleeping on the floor in a yellow bag. Weird, but to each their own, he supposes as he makes his way to the only empty tables.

-“Which one d’you want? You can choose first this time around, since I chose the dorms” Chuuya says with a shrugg, waiting for Dazai to take his pick.

-“I want this one, sitting behind you is way more fun after all if gives me the ability to annoy you day long~!”

-“Bastard.” Chuuya swears but still takes the table in front of him, looking around. He bites his lip as he sees some kids approaching them, but he puts on his best imitation of a happy, friendly highschooler and politely greets the others taking a seat st his table.

-“Hey man, I’ve seen you yesterday but we didnt speak, you know? You seem cool so we wanted to see what youre all about!” the guy who he remembered to be Sero spoke to him in a very loud and excited manner, causing Chuuya to almost break his head by smashing it into the table, but theres no need to be so rash so he kept the conversation going.

-“Yeah, sorry, I was busy cooking and all.. Good to see you again.. Sero?” Chuuya spoke faking enthusiasm which was an embarrassing fain in the eyes of Dazai but it seemed to be enough to fool their new classmates. “Mind telling me what classes we have next? I dont think we received the time table yet.”

-“We have english next, and science afterwards, and obviously training. Ill send you the timetable if you want, whats your number?” Mina said, excited to have her chance at speaking.

-“No need, i can take a photo of it. Chuuya doesnt just give his number to people, you know? Hes a bit shy!” Dazai spoke teasingly from behind them, playing with Chuuya’s ponytail, rolling the hair around his finger before pulling on it harshly and jumping away from the attack he received. “And so easy to read! Come on, did you really think that would connect?”

-“Ugh just zip it already, bastard! Im not in the mood for this.” Chuuya syas before returning to his seat, calming down almost instantly, talking back in his normal voice, listening to his new ‘friends’ speak about the teachers and the school. He was a good listener, very attentive, asking some questions here and there, while ignoring Dazai who still kept playing and tugging with on his hair, unpatient and clingy.

After a while english class started, and Chuuya takes his words back, because none of this made any sense. The language itself made no sense, and you can see the disgust towards it on his face. The teacher even gave them worksheets, as if they could solve it. And they could as the class fell silent, and you could feel them solving the exercises with ease. Was he the only dumbass in this class? Was he really that stupid he cant understand something so very basic? Chuuya’s line of thoughts was very rudely interrupted by another tug on his hair and a paper slid into his hand, as Dazai let him copy the answers quickly. Chuuya was still embarassed but in his defense, he just learnt how to write properly once he entered the mafia, as after all the sheep were just a bunch of kids who tried to teach him only to fail miserably. He slid the paper back onto Dazai’s table with a little ‘thanks’ note and returned to looking around the classroom, analysing all of their new classmates. Most of them seemed like perfectly normal kids, except the ones with more interesting features like the pink, alien-like girl or the girl that was entirely invisible, they were an interesting bunch that’s for sure.

English class passed by quickly, and so did science where finally Chuuya wasnt clueless, after all his whole ability revolved around gravity, so he could guess how most things worked. Finally the class he was most excited about came up, training. He could assume that here the fights and training were closely suprevised and they probably cand go all out, but Chuuya was excited nonetheless, thrilled to finally put his strength to good use.

They left the classroom, walking towards the huge builing close-by, which was their gym. Inside everyone started changing into some sort of training unifor, and really now who was designing these? Because each adn every single item of clothing from the school was hideous until now. The pair changed into a corner, taking turns covering eachother from all the other kids, as while Chuuya wasnt nearly as full of scars as Dazai, as it was hard for him to end up injured, he still didnt want to bother finding excuses for each and every sigle one, and the stab wound on his back left a pretty nasty scar, hard to cover up. And Dazai was obviously uncomfortable around this many kids who never seemed to learn about privacy, already having been asked around 6 times about the bandages. Still in the end they managed to change into their sports uniform without any issues, walking into the gym, looking around, as Chuuya started stretching, elbowing Dazai to do the same. Dazai complied, stretching as well, looking around for the teacher with a small grin on his face.

-“Hello dear children, All Might here! Are you all ready for hero training?! I sure hope you are, because we will be jumping right into it! I heard there are two new students? Step forwards and present yourself to everyone, come on dont be shy!” a tall man with a wide smile spoke extremly loudly, but from the other kids’ reactions they can only assume that this man was someone important, an idol maybe? Either way the two stepped forwards, turning around to face the other students before speaking.

-“Im Dazai Osamu, and I have a nullification quirk.” Dazai spoke quickly, not leaving any space for questions, it seemed he wanted to keep most information about his ability a secret, maybe wanting to use it as a trump card later on.

-“Nakahara Chuuya, I can manipulate gravity” he spoke just as quickly, trying to get away from the tall man who stood like a tree next to them.

-“Well then young Chuuya, young Dazai, would you want to go first? Show everyone what youre capable of?” All Might suggested to which the two agreed without much pushing, stepping away and grinning at eachother as Chuuya cracker his knuckles.

The fight started before most of the students even realised with Dazai linging forwards with a punch to the face, only for Chuuya to dodge last minute, pushing back with just as much force. Their way of fighting was very well thought out, and while the movements can look irational you can tell they are all planned before jumping at the other. It was almost reminiscent of a dance, the perfect mix between dodging, taking hits and attacking, and it was clear they werent holding back either, Dazai’s nose bleeding onto the floors of the gym. And yet no one made a move to stop them, as everyone was stuck in awe, well that untill Chuuya finally landed a punch so hard he sent Dazai flying to the other side of the gym, sliding off the wall. The reactions spread quickly between the teenagers as they screamed in shock or ran to Dazai’s side, yet no one faster than Chuuya who already lifted him up, looking him over, and wiping his bloody nose with a handkerchief he had on him. The two shared a look before returning to their places, looking towards All Might.

-“Young Dazai! Are you alright?” he said, clearly concerned about the punches he took, but Dazai just waved him off, stating that there was no real injury.

-“No worries, hes well trained, he would never hurt his master too seriously!” he spoke before letting out a sharp yelp in reaction to the punch he received by the boy who took his place on the right side back swiftly.

-“Shut it with the dog jokes! Theyre getting repetitive!” Chuuya spoke harshly , annoyed, but he can feel someone stare into the back of his head, and as he turns around he can recognise a face from the night before, Bakugo, was it? Was staring at him and didnt even budge once Chuuya looked back st him.

-“Hey red head! I want a fight! And you better not hold back on it either!” the guy spoke loudly, almost screaming, throwing insults left and right before looking at All Might, waiting for approval for the fight he desired.

-“Huh? I dont wanna fucking fight you, go away!” Chuuya spoke with a scoff before crossing his arms. In any normal circumstances you couldnt pull him away from any chance for a fight but he just wasnt in the mood, after all he would have to control his strength too much so it wouldnt even be fun and he feels extremly sore from all the uncomfortable seats he sat on lately on his way here.

-“What? But you fought him, did you not?! And hes so lanky, I bet I could put up a better fight than him!” Bakugo screamed, he was clearly pissed off, as he walked closer grabbing onto Dazai’s collar in anger and lifting him slightly, which seemed to finally get the desired reaction out of Chuuya as he stepped inbetween them pushing Bakugo away with his shoulder.

-“Hands off him, you damn punk. Dont fucking touch him, alright?” Chuuya spat at Bakugo, almost standing on his toes, making himself appear more intimidating.

-“Aww Chuuya, such a good guard dog! Youre so scary~!” Dazai spoke from behind him, grabbing onto his neck, instantly stopping the red glow that started surrounding his body. “But Im afraid the fight cant go on! I *need* to go to the nurse, and Chuuya here *has* to accompany me, after all he caused my injuries!”

-“Eh? Why do I gotta come with you? Its just a nose bleed, youll be fine, stop whining. And stop touching my neck like that, youre hands are freezing cold!” Chuuya said as he shivered away from the hand that held him in place.

-“Bad dog! Youre supposed to do everything I ask of you at all times!! The bet stated this very clearly, yet youre so stubborn you dont follow the rules properly!” Dazai said dramatically falling to the side, with a hand near his head, yet all the commotion was stopped by a small lady walking inside.

-“Time for your annual body check, line up in front of my office, kids! Dont be late and dont try to skip, I will be counting!” the lady spoke before leaving just as abruptly as he entered.

-“Eh? Chuuya, do you think we have to go? I dont wanna! I dont like nurses!” Dazai said whining silently as Chuuya shrugged, uncaring for the health check-up they had ahead.

They managed to line up in front of the nurse’s office, the new kids being last in line waiting for their turn. Chuuya let Dazai be truly last in line, stepping forwards with a bored look on his face. He really wabted to get back to the dorms, he is starving and in dire need of a shower, this building was lackint proper AC and he could feel his hair sticking to his forehead which anooyed him the whole day. Finally his turn came, entering the office swiftly, taking his hands out of his pockets out of respect.

-“What a pretty boy, youre new here right? I dont have your file done yet, when is your birthday, hm?” the lady asked pulling out a piece of paper.

-“April 29th.” Chuuya answered, looking around, maybe he could stay here during Dazai’s check-up as well, after all he knew very well his partners dislike for any kind of doctor.

-“Step on this scale for me, lets get this done with quickly, alright?” she said and he got up following her orders in silence. The scale read 54kg, and his height was 155 centimeters. “Healthy weight, but you look way lighter than you are, quite lean as well. Good job kid.” She said trying to now push him out of the office but he just waited as Dazai walked inside, taking a seat where Chuuya used to be a few minutes ago. Chuuya took his place at his right side, and the lady continued as if he wasnt there, although a bit confused.

-“Oh my, youre way too skinny! This is so unhealthy. How are you planning on becoming a hero if you dont eat properly?!”

-“Haha, i assure you miss I eat plenty, I was just blessed with an insane metabolism! No worries I am all good.” Dazai spoke with his unusual soft tone, in such a manner that Chuuya almost believed him aswell. After a few more minutes spent talking the two depart on their way back to the dorms, after all, classes were over.

-“Im going to take a shower, stay in *your* own room maybe?” Chuuya spoke pushing Dazai out of his room before leaving to take a shower, washing his hair and taking proper care of it. He was a very expensive person after all, greasy hair wasnt a good look on him, and he enjoyed taking care of himself after all, he found it rewarding. After around 20 minutes he steps back into his room in his pyjamas, if can even call then that, it was simply a bunch of random clothes we wouldnt wear outside of his room, like a old tanktop and a pair of knee-lenght shorts, only to spot Sazai laying down in his bed.

-“I said go back to your damn dorm, you waste of bandages! And dont sit on my bed befkre changing your clothes, its nasty!” he screamed out pulling his partner’s leg, causing him to fall off the bed with a loud thud.

-“Uhh, actually I forgot to get any shampoo or abything regarding bathing in general.. can I use yours? Pretty please~!”

-“Do you even know how to wash your hair properly? Its really matted. I am not wasting my product on someone who doesn’t know how to use it properly!”

-“..You can wash my hair yourself if youre so scared of waste.” Dazai spoke in a sarcastic manner, his biggest mistake of all time forgetting that Chuuya normally doesnt catch ‘sarcasm’ even if it was right in his face.

-“Yeah, alright, lets go.” Chuuya answered dragging him to his bathroom, bending his neck over the hard, cold wall of the bathtub. “Sit still or Ill pour water in your eyes” he spoke before pouring some water in his partner’s hair, and starting to shampoo it, groaning in annoyance as his fingers kept getting stuck in the knots. He washed the shampoo out, now using conditioner, and finally a hair mask. “You can finish washing it off, and take a shower, you stink. Where’s your room key?” he asked as he started to get away from the bathtub.

-“Noo, dont go! This was so nice, you should become a professional hair washer, maybe they would even accept someone as short as you!” Dazai said with a grin, but proceeded to hand over a key, watching his partner leave the room, and eventually the dorm.

Dazai did in fact finish washing up on his own, after all if he didnt he would never escape the teasing from Chuuya about his incompetence and inability to wash up on his own. He shivered in the cold bathroom, as a knock on the door startled him.

-“Brought you some clothes, and bandages if you need them? Ill leave them at the door, get changed quickly alright? I hear the kids speaking directly at our door and im sure they want something” Chuuya’s sentence ended with a tired scoff as he walked away from the door, letting Dazai change in some random clothes he found around his room.

The red head’s prediction was spot on as someone knocked on the door soon after Dazai left the bathroom. Since he was closest, he also opened the door, only to be met by once again Bakugo.

-“Eh?! Why are you always here? I wanna speak to the short dude, get away and let me in!” Bakugo spoke enraged by once again having been met with the wrong person. Chuuya came from behind, pushing Dazai to the side, looking at Bakugo with a raised brow.

-“What’cha want this time? Get it through your head punk, I aint fighting you.” Chuuya spoke louder than he normally would.

-“Oh shut the hell up, why? Are you so afraid of losing you dont even want to try? What a wimp” Bakugo screamed back with a wode grin, which seemed to strike the right nerve in Chuuya’s brain as he also started grinning.

-“Losing? Against someone like you? Never. Im just afraid to wipe the floor with you so badly youd be embarassed to even show your face around me anymore.” Chuuya spoke, his usual cocky personality making a come-back. Which was good because Dazai was starting to think his poor little dog got a fever or something to refuse a fight so straight up.

-“Is that so? Bring it then, go on! Fight me, now!” the scream was loud enough to attract the attention of everyone around as Bakugo started to walk outside of the building with Chuuya following quickly behind.

-“Why do you want a fight so badly? And why from me?”

-“Because I have beat everyone else, I am the best here and I need to prove that I wont be losing my crown to a short ginger who just got here, you got me?!”

-“What a lame reason, just bring it on, weirdo.” Chuuya spoke before dodging attack after attack, continously for the first few seconds of the fight.

-“Here’s your biggest problem, Bakugo, you keep on charging and charging at me, but you aint thinking at all. Youre so easy to read, this is a pathetic excuse of a fight.” Chuuya said with a large grin, enunciating his words, making sure they were properly heard. Finally Chuuya decided that hes been dodging long enough, lunging at his opponent, kicking him backwards harshly. His hands sat comfortably in his pockets as he glared at the kid on the ground. “I hate condecending little cocky pricks like you so much. Youre so full of yourself you forget to actually see how weak you are.”

-“Good job! You fought so~ well, you even used my words there at the end! You learn so quickly, so smart!” Dazai spoke, appearing out of nowhere, moving to pat his head with a excited look on his face, that got quickly destroyed by Chuuya moving away, almost biting his hand.

The other kid was left sitting on the ground, rethinking the fight over and over again. Was the ginger right, was he actually weak, and he just covered it up with his ego for so long he started believing it? No, that cant be, he knew he was strong, he won so many fights, and yet he lost this one so miserably he just wanted the world to split apart and eat him, and he would still feel ashamed for the dirt that would fall over him for having to see him like this. He didnt lose because he was weak, he lost because he underestimated everyone else around him. No, the other kid just got lucky, yeah thats surely the answer, after all Bakugo just so happened to be feeling under the weather lately after all, maybe he caught a cold? Surely thats it.
