Chapter Text
~~2012~~
She wanted to go out into the street and cry inconsolably, fear ran through her veins and the thirst for revenge as well. She desperately wanted to run towards those hooded figures and take revenge on them, to torture them, make them beg and have a painful death. However, they had given her the most important part of the mission: to make the young girl disappear from the wizarding world. That was the worst part, she couldn't understand what her mentor was thinking when she believed she could carry it out. She would rather die at the hands of the hooded figures than do that to an 8-year-old girl, who couldn't stop crying after seeing her home engulfed in flames, with her mother inside.
That girl, with a travel cloak covering her face and a spell that changed her features, didn't let go of her hand while silently crying, unable to process the flames, the screams of her mother fighting with a hooded man whose voice sounded very familiar. After this witch quickly took her away from the scene, following orders, promising to protect her and that everything would happen quickly. The girl wanted to go back to her family, even if the witch told her that her grandparents were also in great danger, she wanted to go to a familiar place. The streets of London scared her, the city scared her. So many muggles, traffic, hurried people, that wasn't her calm neighborhood near Wales with magical people. That wasn't her home.
The witch suddenly stopped, looked around paranoid but only received looks from muggles caught up in their routines, waiting for something extraordinary to happen and surprise them. A typical red double-decker London bus passed by, with a poster of the "British boy band of the moment," about 5 boys younger than her... They were in the most muggle place of England. It was perfect. As the bus passed, a brown brick building came into view, that would be their destination. The girl's brown hair peeked out from under the hood, it seemed to wave with worry just like its owner. It was time to complete the mission. New memories. They crossed the street, while the witch plotted the entire life she would create for the girl and the people who would receive her. During her years at Hogwarts, they told her that she had been an excellent student, the best among witches. She rang the doorbell, a couple of muggles welcomed them, and she fulfilled her mission.
