Shadow the hedgehog....The ultimate lifeform created to protect and heal humanity is instead feared or just flat out hated on by many people. To be fair he did help a alien species take over the world even being a part of that species. No matter what Rouge and some of the others say about not being his fault due to losing his memories, he still helped the Black arms and it was his fault that some lost they're loved ones even if not many. None of those people deserved to lose their loved ones with something that could've easily been fixed, none of them deserved to suffer losing their loved ones like he did.
Shadow had enough of GUN as much as he tried forgiving them for what they'd done to his Big Sister it still hurts especially how he's being treated as outcast and a experiment. While it may have been fun going missions with his teammates in the beginning it slowly turned to misery. Having to go on missions more times than most was getting tiring. He tried justifying that if he didn't do a mission he'll just be a disappointment. But even though he knows that it's just isn't true, he can still be a great lifeform without going on missions 24/7. He's the ultimate lifeform sure but he isn't some machine that can go without sleep 24/7 even if he couldn't stay up for that long. Sure he can stay up for two weeks for sure but after that he won't last. So with much thinking and of course his teammates thoughts he finally decided to put his two week notice, he still doesn't understand what that means though as he isn't coming back in 2 weeks.
The commander did try to convince him to stay but he made his choice and so the commander respected him. Shadow knows this isn't a goodbye just yet just because he isn't working for GUN anymore doesn't mean he won't work with them if anything super serious happens. After saying his goodbyes to Topaz as she was the only person beside Rouge and Omega who treated him decently in GUN. Plus she was a friend of Rouge.
He needed some time to get his thoughts together so what better way to get his thoughts together by going to his favorite spot. He found this spot during when he was racing the blue hedgehog and ever since has come to this place when needing time to himself at least he thought he was going to be by himself.
Cream, Gemerl and Cheese were currently going out to pick flowers. Her mother suggested that they go get some fresh air and what better way to spend time outside by doing Cream's favorite activity. Picking flowers and making flower crowns of course especially when making flower crowns for her friends. Gemerl of course had to come along to make sure she was safe seeing how she's still young and you never know when Dr.Eggman might kidnapped you. While she did appreciate the protection from everyone she wished she could be more independent. Go on adventures like all her friends, but most of all protect the people who can't defend themselves from evil beings. Though she's just a kid, a kid who is one of those people needing the heroes protection due to not being able to protect herself. Having to be kidnapped multiple times only to be save by the heroes...
Cheese found this beautiful field of flowers one time when he got lost, of course it was scary having Cheese be lost but it did have something to be worth it. Even if it did cost one of Cream's bests of friends to be lost. Once they arrived Cream was immediately amazed by how pretty this field was and wished she knew it sooner. "Woah it's so pretty even more pretty than I imagined!" Cream examined, Cheese made Chao noise in agreement. "Come on guys, I'm so excited, imagine all the pretty flower crowns we can make!" Cream said as she ran towards this beautiful field. "Be careful Cream you might trip if you aren't careful" Cream did slow down agreeing with Gemerl that she may fall if going too fast. Gemerl cared a lot about Cream and her family even if he was a robot and couldn't show emotions. He always believed that a robot could care about someone if they just try to. Though most robots he knew especially Omega always thought that is what makes you weak. But they're just soulless robots so of course they wouldn't understand how it feels to feel love....
Gemerl walks towards Cream and Cheese who were already making flowers crowns, geez there fast but they are pretty pro on making flower crowns so it didn't surprise Gemerl. Gemerl slowly moves his robotic arm towards a flower coping the way Cream makes flower crowns to make sure he does it right. little did they know they will have a special guest joinning their flower crown session.....
