Work Text:
Taiya hadn't thought about a lot of things regarding relationships until he was dating three other people. All of a sudden he was hyper aware of how much time he spent with each one. He was worried about accidentally playing favorites and spending too much time with one of them. Did they all have that same worry?
It was a slow start to the day. No deliveries to be made. Just everyone hanging out and hoping the enemy decides to not do anything for a bit.
Taiya had spent the first chunk of the morning doing work. He was vaguely aware of what everyone else was doing during that time. Genba had forcibly started smothering Ishiro into a hug on the couch. Jou was talking to Mira, listening to her talk about some date she had been on.
Taiya was disturbed from his work by arms wrapping around his waist. "Are you almost done yet?"
"Genba." Taiya glanced back at the other. Genba gave him an innocent smile in return.
Taiya spared a glance at what everyone else was up to. Mira was gone. Ishiro may have lost Genba pestering him, but it seemed Jou had filled that spot. Taiya wasn't sure what Jou was trying to ask of Iahiro, but the latter was not having it.
"Give me a few more minutes to wrap things up, 'kay?" Taiya finally answered Genba.
"Do I have to let go?" Genba asked, a teasing smile making its way into his face.
"As long as you don't bother me more, no."
Genba didn't do anything more as Taiya finished up what he had been working on. That was a little surprising. Taiya had expected Genba to try to push his limit a little bit. Though, it was nice to not have any extra distraction added to this already stressful thing he was doing.
Once he finished, Taiya turned around, forcibly making Genba let go of him by doing so. Genba stared at him expectantly. Was he waiting for him to make the first move? Taoya had expected Genba to start something once he was done. Why was he being asked to initiate? Oh well. He could do that easily.
Taiya stepped in closer and pulled Genba into a kiss with little warning. Genba wrapped his arms around him and kissed back. They didn't kiss for long. Taiya broke apart in a few seconds, much to the obvious disappointment in Genba.
It was still weird doing this. It was especially awkward having some private time with one boyfriend while the others were there too. On that, he seemed to be the only one. None of the other three had any issue being affectionate with one while everyone else was present.
"What's the hold up? You promised." Genba gave him a small pout.
"N-nothing." Taiya stammered out. He moved back in and went for another kiss. Genba welcomed him with no complaint.
"You guys are having all the fun without us." A voice interrupted them.
"I thought you were having a moment with Ishiro." Genba shot back in a teasing tone.
"He won't let me." Jou pouted at Ishiro. "He's being stubborn again."
"Perhaps we can change that..." Genba flashed Taiya a mischievous wink.
Taiya gave a subtle nod in reply. Now this was more up his alley. Doing something with all of them involved.
Genba had quickly made his way back over to the couch, trapping Ishiro in a hug before he could escape. He pulled the struggling man onto his lap and was managing to keep him there. Taiya came over and grabbed Ishiro by his chin.
"Don't want to give your boyfriend what he wants? That's mean, Casshiro." Taiya scolded, unable to keep a stupid smile from making its way onto his face.
"Taiya! Genba! Unhand me!" Ishiro demanded, still struggling.
"Come on. Just agree to what Jou wants and we'll let up." Genba purred, pressing a kiss to Ishiro's cheek.
"You're so unfair..." Ishiro huffed.
"I know you too well."
"You have anything to add?" Taiya looked over at Jou.
Jou stared at him for a moment, and then shyly moved closer. He was still the most hesitant in this new relationship sometimes. But he was getting used to it quite well now.
Jou pressed up against Ishiro's side, giving him a sad look. "Can't you let me have time with you?"
"Don't give me that look." Ishiro tried to look away, but Taiya still had a firm hold on his face.
"Please?" Jou kept up the look.
Ishiro finally caved. "Fine..."
At his agreement, he was released. Though, that was for a few seconds before Jou had him in a hug and was definitely not letting go anytime soon. Ishiro complained about the treatment, but nothing came of it. Not that he had expected anything to. Most of his complaints and stubbornness was just for show. He just didn't like admitting he enjoyed the affection.
"Now that they're content..." Genba grabbed Taiya by his shirt and pulled him down until Taiya was straddling his lap. "Can we continue?"
"I suppose so." Taiya replied.
Genba didn't wait and pulled him into another kiss. Taiya tried to keep his focus on Genba alone, but his gaze kept traveling over to look at Ishiro and Jou. He knew he shouldn't be bothered by this. They were fine doing their own thing. But it still felt awkward to be doing this with them right there.
Taiya was so distracted, he didn't even see it coming when Genba suddenly grabbed him and pinned him against the couch. Taiya looked at him with wide eyes. What was going on?
"Focus on me." Genba whispered in his ear, before moving in for another kiss.
Not being able to see what the other two were doing helped a bit but Taiya still had his mind wandering. At least he was able to pull himself together enough to actually pay attention to the boyfriend in front of him this time. He wrapped his arms around Genba, pulling him closer. Genba deepened the kiss.
They pulled away to breathe. Genba backed off enough for Taiya to sit up. He couldn't help but spare a glance at what Jou and Ishiro were up to. The two were still on the same couch, Jou having Ishiro in his lap and incessantly kissing him everywhere. He looked back at Genba to find him pouting. Right... he kept getting distracted. Should he just admit how he felt? Would that explain things?
He didn't know. For now, he reached out and pulled Genba into a hug. He buried his face into Genba's neck to try and keep himself from looking at the others. Right now was time for Genba.
...
Taiya had been distracted since the morning. He had tried to avoid anyone else for a bit. He really needed to get these issues under control at this point. He didn't need to feel awkward doing things in front of everyone.
"Taiya-san?"
Taiya glanced up from where he had been staring at a book. He had been trying to read but that hadn't lasted long. He ended up lost in his thoughts before he even knew it.
Jou stood before him. Taiya looked around briefly. He was in his house, though at this point almost everyone lived here to some capacity. No one else was around.
"Yes?" Taiya closed the book, not even bothering to mark his page.
"Um... you've been... avoiding us."
"I have not. I'm just busy with other things." Taiya quickly deflected.
"Is this about earlier? Genba-san said you seemed distracted..."
Taiya sighed. Of course he wasn't going to get to hide all of this. No one was going to let him.
"It's not that. I promise." Taiya said. "It's just weird, you know. Doing something one-on-one with everyone else there. Just hard to get used to."
Jou nodded to his words. He invited himself to sit next to Taiya.
"What are the others up to?" Taiya asked.
"Mira-senpai went on a date and I think they're following her now."
"Why?"
Jou shrugged.
"Fair." Taiya chuckled. "So, what do you want to do while they're gone?"
Jou hesitated for a moment before he spoke. "I... can I have some time with you? We've never... really done much alone."
"Sure." Taiya agreed quite easily. It was true. Maybe he was neglecting Jou a bit. It really was hard handling three boyfriends.
Taiya took the lead and leaned closer. He pulled Jou into a series of quick kisses. At just that, Jou was getting flushed in his face. Was he nervous?
"Are you up for anything?" Taiya asked.
"I-I guess." Jou replied. "What does anything entail...?"
Taiya smiled. "Oh, you'll see."
With that, Taiya practically pounced on Jou and pinned him down. Jou let out a startled cry at the sudden movement. The noise was cut short as Taiya smashed their lips together.
He figured he might as well go all in since him and Jou hadn't had much alone time yet. Make sure he didn't feel neglected by him at all. And hopefully the others wouldn't return and see this. He'd never hear the end of it.
...
It was getting late now. Taiya had retreated to his room not too long ago. While today hadn't had much go on, he was still tired. And maybe he just wanted to sleep and hope tomorrow would be a bit better. He should probably apologize to Genba about his distracted nature. But that was a tomorrow task.
Taiya was almost asleep, when suddenly the door opened up. He groggily opened his eyes to see who was interrupting him. A body climbed into the bed. Ishiro.
"What are you doing here...?" Taiya asked.
"Didn't feel like getting crushed to death by those two." Ishiro replied. "And besides... we haven't had any time together today."
Right... he hadn't done much with Ishiro. God this was exhausting sometimes. Not that he didn't like it. He was not about to give up this relationship if he could help it. It was just taking a lot to get used to.
"I'm tired..." Taiya grumbled.
"Just a bit?" Ishiro said.
"Fine..."
Ishiro took the lead, much to Taiya's relief. He was far too tired to even think about romance right now.
Ishiro pulled him close and pressed their lips together. It wasn't a very long kiss. Ishiro started moving around his face, placing kisses everywhere he could reach. For as stoic as he could be, he was quite needy and affectionate as well.
Taiya closed his eyes and nuzzle his face into the fabric of Ishiro's shirt. Ishiro briefly ruffled his hair.
"Tomorrow, you're going to give me more attention. I'll make sure of it." Ishiro whispered. "Get some rest. I can see you're barely staying awake."
"I was almost asleep before you barged in." Taiya grumbled.
"Sorry, sorry. I'll make it up to you tomorrow. Okay?"
"You better."
