Summary
What if Hugo, despite his young age, managed to understand his big sister's words ? What if the cure for Macula had always been there, deep inside, just waiting for them to decipher its meaning ? What if their journey punctuated with suffering had always concealed within it the secret of their salvation ? What if Hugo found within himself the strength to grant mercy to those who do evil ? Maybe then he could save them all. As they flee, through a long journey of healing, they all learn the secret to the cure for the disease.
Et si Hugo, malgré son jeune âge, parvenait à comprendre les paroles de sa grande sœur ? Et si le remède à la Macula avait toujours été là, au fond d'eux-mêmes, attendant simplement qu'ils en décryptent le sens ? Et si leur parcours jalonné de souffrances avait toujours recelé en lui le secret de leur salut ? Et si Hugo trouvait en lui la force d'accorder la miséricorde à ceux qui font le mal ?
