It started with a whim. On a particularly sleepless night, Aventurine sent Topaz a rather desperate message: ‘Can I listen to you work?’ Never thought that would be his way in to a rather muddled relationship where they weren’t quite friends and yet somehow overshot the friend bit entirely.
