   Summary

   Even in a tiny village in the corner of Sanbreque, on the opposite side of the country from Oriflamme, Dion’s mother cannot keep Bahamut’s flame hidden for long. When Dion’s magic awakes, the dragon’s form remains in slumber and he is instead taken in as a Bearer.

   Meanwhile, Terence struggles to carve out an identity of his own, beyond what has already been destined for him.
