This is the only artwork I submitted to the 2024 NCIS Reverse Bang. The piece was claimed by Unilocular.
Her story is called Double Cross.
Summary:
Not long after Trent Kort tries to kill Tony DiNozzo, Tim McGee discovers the two are still secretly meeting. Tim is determined to get to the bottom of it, but nothing is what it seems.

Last year, I did a winter-themed piece, so this year, I decided to go for "autumn". There was also a list of things people wanted to see, so that's where Kort came into the mix.

Kort can be good, bad or neutral in this, your choice. He can be related to Tony, but cannot be a lover or past lover. They can get along, or not. Tony can be with Gibbs (past, present or future) or it can be Gen. They can be working a case together, or this could be something more personal, your choice.
This piece did feature Tony, Gibbs and Kort. I had done a couple versions including Tim, but they looked too crowded, so I decided to remove Tim from the image. Although, I did add a note stating Tim could be added in, and I could remove Gibbs, if that was the writer's preference. I did share the versions including Tim with Unilocular, and she agreed they appeared crowded, so we made the decision together that it would be a better match to the story to replace Gibbs with Tim in the main banner.
So...
This is the updated main banner that includes Tim and omits Gibbs.
I also decided to create some page breaks. These are in the order they were created, rather than following the story timeline. I gave Unilocular the option of using them where she wanted and only using the ones she wanted to use.
And finally...
I created this end banner. The original banner is a bit dark and foreboding, so I liked being able to choose a nice bright, colorful image to accompany the ending of the story.
