“The Taelnu administration hopes this room is to our esteemed guests’ liking,” the concierge says, bowing their head.
“I’m sure it will be,” Shiro says. “Thank you.”
When the concierge doesn’t move, Keith clears his throat. “So, um, can I be shown to my own room now?”
“This… is the esteemed Blade’s room.”
Keith peeks through the door, frowning in confusion. “There must be some mistake,” he says. “There’s two of us, and there’s only one bed.”
Shiro and Keith are at a fundraising event on a distant planet, where a diplomatic misunderstanding leads to a very interesting challenge ;)
