Cale is sleeping after being forced by Sui to do so.
he didn't sleep for 2 days after all.
they were in the central plains in one of the inns that they found in their way.
While Cale was sleeping, Raon, who already slept, had nothing to do.
but he had a certain question.
The question has been bothering him for a while now.
But can he really ask that question?
won't his human be mad?
his human is secretive after all.
Raon also knew that his human delve in his own thoughts from time to time.
Raon knew that his human had a good memory, so could he be in his own world of memories when he stared into space?
Raon shook his head from side to side.
That was not even his question.
Raon didn't know it but he let out a frustrated sigh.
as Raon was about to go back into his thoughts-
“hmm?!”
candied fruit was shoved into his mouth.
Raon looked up. at the person who shoved the candied fruit to his mouth.
He saw a man with long dark hair smiling at him mischievously.
“What's a young kid like you sighing over? What's bothering you?”
It was Sui Khan, who looked like Lee Soo Hyuk.
munch munch.
Raon munched on the candied fruit before looking down and flapping his wings and tail hesitantly.
Sui waited as he started to pat Raon’s back.
After finishing the whole thing, Raon opened his mouth.
“S-sui”
“Yes, Raon?”
Raon peeked at the sleeping Cale before looking back at his paws.
“Um…I want to…um…human…what was the human like?”
Sui’s hand that was patting Raon’s back flinched for a second, making Raon anxious but then Sui continued patting Raon's back.
“Hm…”
Sui hummed before asking.
“You want to know how Rok soo was?”
Raon peeked at Sui then nodded his head.
“Hmm..the body he is currently in right now was his body when he was 20.”
Raon nodded, he had guessed so based on the conversations between Sui and Cale.
Sui continued.
“Rok soo…Rok Soo is still the same.”
“Huh?”
“Like I said, Rok Soo still has the same personality as before, Rok soo is Rok soo. Though he has matured a bit since he is older now.”
A fond expression was drawn on his face, Raon thought that even though Lee Soo Hyuk’s face can’t be compared with Eruhaben or Raon’s own great and mighty face, the smile on Soo Hyuk's face made him look cool and handsome.
Somehow, a hint of that smile was similar to Cale's when he looked at Raon.
“The less mature Rok Soo was a grumpy kid.”
Raon’s wings flapped a bit faster in excitement, hearing new things about his human made him excited.
Sui chuckled before continuing.
“Hmm…RoK Soo…”
Sui looked as if he was contemplating something before shouting in a sigh-like manner.
“He goes causing trouble everywhere!”
Of course the shout was a whisper-lIke shout, he didn’t want to wake Cale up after all.
“Did he flip things over?”
“He did that a lot”
“What about looting?”
“WE did that too”
“Then did you win massively?”
Sui’s smile cracked a bit and turned into an awkward one.
“Uhh…you can say that we did ‘win’ at least…”
“But isn’t human- did my human not have powers there? What powers did he have?”
“...he was a support type ability user.”
“Huh? Human? Support? Human standing behind?”
Raon couldn’t believe that that was straight up bullshit.
Sui burst out laughing at Raon’s reaction.
“Of course that punk couldn’t stay behind and act his role properly! He meddled himself with the vanguard business , slamming monsters with a metal board then getting sent flying!”
Raon was baffled.
“...human is human…”
Raon seemed to understand why his human was his human just like Sui said. Of course Raon always thought that way but not literally.
Raon opened his mouth.
“The human…um”
He seemed to be contemplating something
“That…”
Raon blushed a bit, he was embarrassed…for some reason he didn’t want to know the answer to his current question but…he was really curious!
“The human…h-how - how old is he?”
“...”
It was Sui's turn to be baffled.
“...Rok Soo didn’t tell you?”
Raon shook his head.
“Pfft-”
Sui’s- no Lee Soo Hyuk’s shoulders began to shake up and down.
He couldn’t contain his laughter as a thought crossed his mind.
‘These too are so similar!’
“So-haha-ahem-Rok Soo’s age is thirty-” BAAM!
A pillow was thrown to his face.
Sui didn’t bother to dodge it.
When the pillow fell down to the floor after hitting his face, sui was able to see a huffing and puffing Cale Henituse- no Kim Rok Soo with a complete red face looking at him with a permanent frown.
Sui continued laughing which made Cale even more angrier- no. not angry, Cale was embarrassed.
Raon blinked.
‘Is the human’s age that much embarrassing to say?’
gasp!
A thought crossed his mind.
“Human! Are you older than lemon gramps?!”
“”Huh””.
The two looked at Raon simultaneously with utter shock.
“NO!”
Cale shouted.
Sui leaned on the table beside him while holding his stomach as he laughed his ass off.
“I AM YOUNGER THAN THAT OLD MAN!”
Cale shouted once again, face even redder than before.
Sui opened his mouth.
“But you’re an old man to-”
“You’re the one almost older than Ron!”
Cale threw another pillow at sui.
“I am only six years older than you!”
Sui dodged.
Raon took out a video recording device.
He has to show this to the future him!
As Cale and sui continued their fight (sui enjoying the fight)
Raon a moment of silence huffed and puffed to ask the question again.
“So how old is the human?”
“...”
“Pffft-”
“...”
“Haha-”
“Will you shut up please? Team leader-nim?”
“Haha- I'm sorry Rok Soo-ah, continue-”
“Thirty…”
Raon looked at his human who looked like he didn’t finish saying his age yet.
“...nine…”
Raon’s eyes turned round.
‘Forty…’
The human was almost forty years old.
And Raon is seven.
Raon is seven and the human is thirty-nine.
“Thirty-nine…”
Raon was in a daze and Sui was extremely satisfied.
“Hehe-”
A giggle escaped Raon’s mouth.
“W-what?”
Cale asked. His face is still red.
“Human is human!”
Raon shouted
"huh"
“My human is my human!”
Raon said once again. Of course the second ‘my human’ had a different meaning but Cale didn’t know that.
Cale could see Raon flapping his wings with excitement and happiness.
He could also see a wide true smile on Sui's face.
Cale didn’t understand why they are like this.
But…
‘As long as they are happy’ He thought.
A smile was unconsciously drawn on his face.
