Jason Todd knew he was different and knew he had to hide it. Had to hide the way the cold pierced into his skin or the way his small frail-looking body was far stronger than it should be. It wasn't safe for him on the streets but he didn't have a choice. He didn't have a home or money to support himself... couldn't risk making stupid choices.
