    dazai had always tiptoed the precipice with his behaviour, teetering dangerously on the brink of violation, and chuuya had always simply rolled his eyes affectionately and tugged him back.
    it turns out though that dazai could simply become too much too quickly and before they knew it, he was hurtling over the edge, chuuya unable to catch him.

    dazai pushes it too far and must be punished, but chuuya is always there to guide him back once it's done
