It’s been a year since Niko’s death and Charles has a terrible gut feeling that hasn’t left him the entire year. There is nothing to seemingly worry about. Crystal is good and Edwin is doing better. It’s all fine really he’s worrying over nothing. That’s what he thinks atleast until the morning after another solved case he and Crystal are staring at a sight they can’t begin to comprehend.
Edwin knows he’s terrible for keeping secrets. For breaking a promise but in his grief he’s found a need to have a few things for himself. So, his relationship with the Cat King is what he keeps for himself and he is all the happier for it. The balance of work and personal life perfect until after a case he mirror hops back home and all he can see is something that makes his heart sink. It seems he won’t have this one thing to himself any longer, but he is no fool he knows when he needs help.
