Summary
The debutante ball is perhaps one of the most frequent events that Carlos has to go through for the past few years in his life. He is now 29 and is at the age where most of his peers have married and bear children already. It’s not that he doesn’t want to, he just never really found anyone he is keen on marrying. His mother has expressed her concerns that despite the prince title that Carlos holds, it has been numerous seasons that he attends these balls without tying the knot with anybody. Rumours have been going around that Carlos is a player, that he dislikes commitment, that he could not bear a child, that there are some twisted and dark things going on with the Sainz which led to the noble ladies leaving him.
“I’m just worried, son. It’s been a while. Even if you are a prince, there would be more than plenty of eligible bachelors who would attend these balls. They might just snatch your potential bride!”
Carlos brushed his mother’s words off with a smile, “No need to worry, mother. I am sure that I will find someone either way.”
And found someone he did. Scooping up the attention of everyone and their mothers, the most eligible bachelor of the season, Lord Charles Leclerc of Monaco.
