Work Text:
“Please, Elsa, please.”
Elsa remained silent in response to the inspector’s plea, unbothered by him almost breathing down her neck, nor by the harsh, blinding white light that seemed to come from all directions.
“Please, Elsa. Tell me where the other kids are.”
Elsa continued to draw as if there was no one else in the room, a light blue pencil in her hand.
“I promise you won’t get in trouble. They’ve been missing for two weeks, now. Their parents just want to know what happened after your friend Hans took you all to play in the forest.”
Elsa said nothing, but her lips curved upward just a little at the name. She remained intensely focused on her crude drawing of a clearing in the forest, jagged blue streaks of light erupting in all directions from the blonde-haired stickman in the center.
This might just be her best depiction yet.
