Summary
Draco Malfoy had almost thought the Ministry had forgotten him — his trial for his involvement in the war had been pending for years. With how minimal his involvement was, and how much he’d changed since, he thought he’d only get a slap on the wrist. Instead he got a year in Azkaban.
A much lighter sentence than the criminals tried before him, but a devastating one nonetheless — Draco’s not built for prison. Who would have guessed that his salvation would be the newly minted Head Auror, Harry Potter.
Instead of a year in Azkaban, he’s merely going to have to endure a year of house arrest under the care of, and in the home of, his old nemesis.
He knows Harry has ulterior motives though, he’s not just doing it out of the kindness of his heart.
