Vera finally confronts Sebastian about the missing bed in his uncle's house, and her worst suspicions are confirmed. She's not the only one who grew up needing a place to hide. A short, fluffy one-shot inspired by the quirk that many other HL fans have picked up on while visiting the Sallows' home in Feldcroft.
This work still stands alone but has since been expanded into a chaptered story, “The Devil’s Advocate.”
