Work Text:
Frankie's brain was quite literally built different than their peers and, so, they found themself occasionally needing additional assistance with seemingly basic things.
Thankfully for them, Clawdeen never seemed to mind explaining things to them or helping them when they needed the aid.
One time, Clawdeen noticed just how overwhelmed her roommate seemed during lunch and so she took them to a separate, quieter room for the rest of that lunch period, as well as every lunch period after that day.
Frankie told her that she didn't need to do that and that they could endure the overstimulating environment of the lunch room, but Clawdeen insisted that she didn't want them to deal with those conditions.
Lunch was supposed to be the break in a day, after all. Not an additional stressor.
Frankie appreciated all the little things that their friend did to make them feel more comfortable. Clawdeen didn't see the accommodations as a chore or anything. No, Frankie was her friend. Why wouldn't she make a few small changes to make her friend feel more welcome?
It was just basic decency, really.
