Work Text:
Eliot sat on the couch refusing to acknowledge the argument going on behind him. He wouldn't take part in it. It was all their own faults anyway. If Parker and Hardison hadn't ignored what he told them then they wouldn't be in that position. They had said that it was just a cake and dragged him off on a small job that didn't actually need him. But were now stuck with the fact they didn't have one for the party Sophie was throwing because Eliot didn't have time to make one. Which he told them would happen if they made him go. So he would sit there and listen to them try and find somewhere they could get one that would hold up to Sophie's standards.
What was even better was knowing that they would also refuse to ask him. They knew if they asked him for help or even hinted they needed his help, it would be admitting that they had messed up. Which Parker would do. If Hardison wasn't also involved and making Eliot join them hadn't been his idea.
It seemed like they had chosen a bakery based on the call. Eliot knew which one it was. Just the one he would have picked for Sophie as well. So they would live to see another day.
