There was no warning as the Backdoor flew open and a man came stumbling through.
"Jenkins!" he shouted as he rushed in. "I need to get to the DeLorean!"
"Oh boy," Jenkins muttered. "Of course he would pick today to show up."
Jenkins quickly set the door to the Library proper and the pair left into it. The three Librarians left behind shared a look and followed behind, too curious to do anything else. Quickly as the mysterious man ran down the halls with Jenkins jogging to keep up they all rushed to the room of time machines. Because as they all knew that was the only place in the Library that there was a DeLorean.
In a short amount of time they made it to their destination. And by the time they all got in there the man had torn the cloth covering the car off and was opening the doors.
"Emmett what is going on?" Jenkins asked. "Why are you in such a rush?"
"I need something very important!" he called out from where he was digging in the car.
"If it is the flux capacitor you know you can't leave with it."
"I know. That's not what I am here for anyway. I am here for this!"
He popped back out with a rubber chicken in his hand.
"What on earth do you need that for?" Jenkins sighed.
"My computer is misbehaving," Emmett said. "I need to get rid of the bad vibes."
"Of course," Jenkins replied in a very tired tone. "What else would you need it for?"
"Thank you for your help!"
Then he ran out of the room, probably heading back to the Backdoor to leave.
"Was that who I think it was?" Ezekiel asked.
"If you think that was Dr. Emmett Brown, then yes," Jenkins said.
"So Back to the Future was real?" Cassandra asked.
"No, Emmett and the DeLorean came out of the movie in a similar way to the fictionals," Jenkins explained. "I keep this here to make sure he doesn't do anything with it."
"Of course," Jacob said. "Because he can't cause problems without it."
"Not time travel ones at least."
