Chapter Text
Marin couldn’t believe her eyes. Her mouth was wide open; she covered it with her hand. Her irises looked like they were almost watery.
Wakana, for his part, gave a bashful smile. “What do you think, Kitagawa-san?”, he said.
A high-pitched noise of excitement escaped Marin. “Kyaaaaaaaa… Gojō-kun, this is totes amazing!”, she said. She leapt up and down and clapped her hands next to her head. “It’s perfect! You even got the sparkly stuff!”
Wakana chuckled politely, and scratched the back of his head. “Ah, thank you, Kitagawa-san.”, he said, looking at the dress. “I’m glad you like it. I was able to find a workaround that wouldn’t involve jewelry.”
“Hahaha, like for sure!”, Marin joked. “No way any of us would’ve sunk money into encrusting a dress with jewels!”
She tried to not think about the money she’d sank into buying an expensive camera.
“Do you want to start putting it on?”, Wakana asked.
Marin laughed. “Is that even a question, Gojō-kun?”, she teased. “Bring it on!”
Marin skipped over next to Wakana. She pointed to the dress. “Do I have to keep my bra on, or did you build a stuffing into it?”
Wakana seemed both perplexed and embarrassed by the question. “Er… yes.”, he said, searching for words. “I suppose you could.”
The answer was good enough for Marin, who began undressing on the spot. Wakana turned around to wait for her to finish.
“At least we could get the gloves and high-heels easy, haha!”, Marin said as she put them on. She took a moment to admire her gloved hand. “These’re seriously good gloves, Gojō-kun. They feel mondo awesome!”
Wakana smiled. “Comfortable fabric, I take it?”
“Totally!”, Marin replied, giggling.
Marin began putting on the dress, and Wakana helped her with it.
“I’ve adapted the material and proportions a bit, Kitagawa-san.”, he said.
Marin looked at him, eager to hear more. “Oh yeah?”
Wakana nodded. “I’ve done a little work on the edges. It fools the eye, in the right angle. It simulates Jessica-san’s proportions.”
“Omygosh omygosh omygosh-“
Marin fanned herself to not hyperventilate as she finished dressing.
After putting on the dress, she took a moment to strike a pose in front of Wakana. She laughed as she tried to pull her hair over her right eye.
“How do I look?”, she said, laughing.
“You look great, Kitagawa-san.”, Wakana replied. “You look beautiful.”
“Kyaaaaaaa, thanks Gojō-kun!”, Marin said, this close to climbing up the walls with joy. “You’re the best!” She flashed him a sincere smile and then gave the peace sign.
Marin bounced around admiring herself in the mirror. She attempted to sing while putting her legs out seductively.
“You had plenty money in 1929…”
Then she stopped, and laughed. “Hahaha, oh crap, I can’t remember the lyrics.”
