Juno steel used to want to die in a blaze of glory; but now he just wanted his family safe. So he decided to be the one to go see Sasha Wire or Director W to have a negotiation with for his family safety. Juno would anyhing for his family even if it meant the end of his life. " I wait and wait for Sasha in Buddy's office until I hear foot steps approaching the Buddy's office; then the door opened and there stood Sasha wire. She looked like a complete mess.
Her hair was mess all frayed and her eye² bags were so deep that they could be seen under her sunglasses, looking like it been weeks from the last time she got any sleep. "Come Sasha say awhile" Juno say a cheerful tone trying to conceal the homesick feeling in his gut seeing the women he once thought of as his friend. Her footsteps made a lot of noise as walked over to the chair and sat down. "What do you want in return for my family and I demands?" Juno asks in serious tone there were no time for joke, his family needed to be safe.
"Well, Juno for your demand I is that you and I must be dead for all crimes and us being radicals. That is my answer to your demand" she said coldly, her body language is not giving hints about her feelings. Juno thought about it, his life was worth of the people he loved so for so much safety. "You got to promise me, if we both died that my family will not be hunted any longer" Juno replies with tears starting to well in his eyes. "I promise, Juno I will give my agents my word not to hunt and imprison them."
"Deal, If you give me two things," Juno trying to hid the fact he is about to cry. "What are the two things you want?" " One, you tell your agents right in front of me that my damn family will not be hunted and to be imprisoned to Dark Matter," Juno replies Frimly. "I can do that Juno,what is the second thing?" She asks. "That you will let me say goodbye to my family," his voices breaks when he says the word family. "Very well Juno, I accept both of these requests if you accept my request."
Juno thinks about for second, with his life gone and their freedom that the rest of the Aurinko family will have; that Vespa and Buddy will be able to retire. Jet and Rita will whatever Rita and Jet will do once he was gone. " I accept the request as well,Wire." "Very well Juno, I will now call my agents to hold up my end of the agreement," Sasha says ignoring Juno angry look when she said that. Sasha got ok her comms and made called and the agent picked up, "Hello this is Director W and I have requested take Buddy Aurinko, Jet Sikuliaq and Vespa Ilkay off the most wanted board.
" You sure, Director W, that would that we would not trying to get back in prison-" " I know what that means agent, do as I say," she replies sternly. "Yes Director" as Wire ends the comms call. "Ok, now you can make your last call,Juno," says Director W. "Ok" replies Juno. Juno gets on to his comms and calls Rita. It rings a couple times and then she picks up. "Hello Mista Steel, how your meeting Miss Sasha? Do you want Jet to set off the bombs?" She asked with a big smile on her face.
"No,Rita I wanted to say.. goodbye to you and the rest of the family" Juno slowly says trying not to cry as well. "What? What do you mean Mista Steel" she asks. "Yea, Steel what hell do you mean by goodbye," added Vespa. "I mean that Director W Is going capture the rest of the family and tortured and killed. But I can't have that happened to you guys, so I have die. But if anything good comes out of it is that Director W Is dying with me so I am not alone." "What"Buddy, Vespa, Rita and Jet replied in shock. " Juno this is good idea, you don't have to die for us." Jet replied monotone voice that a touch of sternness in his voice.
"Trust me, i really don't want to do this, I am really wanted to live and see what the planets have to offer. But I guess this the price for my family's safety." Juno replies resignation in his voice. "No Mista Steel there gotta be another way please don't do this," Rita starts to sob. "There got to be another way to do this Juno, darling. So, why do you think this the only option?" Buddy asks with a tears coming to her eye. "The reason being is I know Director W well and when she makes promises like this I know she will keep those promise and I can't.. I wouldn't let that happen to my family because i love you guys."
Vespa sighed and said " I guess I love you too, Steel and but you really want to do this?" "Yes I do, before I go I have to request." What are they Juno?" Jet asked a tears ran down his face. One promise me that you and Vespa in enjoy your retirement and please take care of Rita for me. Then second f you see Ransom again, please tell him what happened to him and tell him that I love him," Juno was full on crying now. "We promise, darling. You were amazing person to have on my crew and will be missed"
"Steel, I will miss you having your annoying self around," Vespa had tears running down her face. "Me too,Vespa me too." "Juno, like Vespa and Buddy you will be missed and honored for your bravery," added Jet. "I-I-I will miss our adventure together Mista Steel and I love you so much Mista Steel. So much.." she starts sobbing again.
"I will miss you too,Rita. Please don't cry and try to miss me too much. If anything ask about me tell me about all the adventures we had ok?" "Ok Mista Steel." "Ok Jet set off the explosion, bye everyone I love you guys so much." Then, Juno ended the call and looked at Sasha. "That I least I can see Benzaiten again," Juno thinks as before the explosion go off and everything goes black.
