Normally when your period came along you'd suffer in silence in your bunk on Kamino. As one of the resident medics, hired to teach the clones how to stitch up and help their brothers, it wasn't unusual that once a month you'd hide away for a week. Until now.
Ever since going on the run with the batch and Omega you hadn't had time to think about your period, until it came.
You were bedridden with possibly the worst cramps you'd ever had, and not wanting to waste precious medicine you didn't bother to take from the small supply of painkillers. After all, chances are Wrecker would need them more.
When you excused yourself from the cockpit with the excuse of 'not feeling well' no one questioned you, just deciding that you had been working hard and deserved rest. That was until Tech came to pay your hobbled up form a visit,"
"Tech" you greet with a forced smile and a nod (not that he could see it with his head buried in his datapad) as you tried not to wince at the cramping in your abdomen
He greets you quietly as he moves towards your bunk more, "Echo was curious why you left," he said barely glancing up from his datapad and towards you.
"Of course he did," you mumble, mostly to yourself, but Tech's small hum in acknowledgment as he continued to tap away on that damned device. You let out a groan as a particularly bad shock of pain erupted from your lower stomach.
Tech glanced up once again, but his eyes weren't judging, they were soft and understanding. "I concluded it was your menstrual cycle, but I wish to have confirmation," He explained while briefly starring at you before returning his gaze.
You let out a chuckle before humming. "Well, you were right then." You reply with a small smile, "Gonna sit here and lecture me about it?" You ask teasingly, while crossing your arms over your chest.
"Its hardly time for that," Tech snips back dryly, as always. "I merely wished to bring you comfort with the minimal supplies," he adds before placing his data pad on a nearby crate.
"According to my research-" he begins only to be interrupted by your snicker; which you attempted to cover up as a cough. "It would be beneficial to your health if you had a partner to spend this time with," He explains fiddling with his fingers, though it was obvious he was far from nervous. You'd even go as far to say that he was confident in what he was saying.
"You just want cuddles," you summarize with a smug, teasing expression, even while you were practically bleeding out on the bed. Tech scoffs in reply,
"Hardly." He begins pushing his goggles ip his nose, "I believe it would be beneficial if we 'cuddled' to relieve your body," he explained his tone slightly annoyed. But that wasn't saying much, Tech was easily annoyed.
"Fine. Get over here," you eventually agreed, patting the spot on the bunk next to you.
It was awkward when he crawled into your bunk, clearly made for one, and his height didn't help. But eventually the two of you fond a comfortable position, him being the big spoon while one hand rested under your shirt, on your abdomen. The warmth radiating from his hand was comforting, a nice change from the killer cramps.
You hum in delight as he pulls you closer, a small smile on your face, as well as his. You could get used to this.
